    I just received a second set of these from Titan for my T-3. They are significantly better than the initial release in that; both roll freely, umhw plastic on all 3 inner surfaces, nut and bolt which protruded has been replaced by receeded hex bolt, better powder coat and “pop pin” hole is better aligned. I would say these are an absolute 5/5. Titan seems to be listening to reviewers.

    It took us 2+ years but we are glad to be pretty much all Rogue at this point. The inconsistency of other manufacturers products is fine when you are starting out, but I'd rather pay a little more for peace of mind at this point. Great video as always Brandon!

    Wanted to note here I ordered the X3 version where I should have got the Titan version for my a Rogue RM 3, but the X3 actually fits fine. The pin it self is smaller than my a Rogue holes but because of twist knob, I can secure it tightly and is not loose when I bench or squat with these. So far love them!

    I got in a set for the X-3 (3x3, 5/8 pin) today and they've updated since this release you got in the video - there's no more protruding bolt on the front, and all three sides that contact the rack have UHMW now. I'd rather have the updated Ghost cups, but I can't justify the cost and these things are excellent at

    Overall I am pretty happy with these especially for the price. As with all the Titan stuff I have some modifications are required. The pin on mine didn't line up, part of the reason is that mine is a hand built Monster Clone so my holes are not 100% perfectly spaced, but about 20 minutes with my bench grinder I was able to taper the pins and the work fine now. I am glad I saw your IG post about these last Saturday and was able to snag these before they went out of stock and the price increased...but even at $80 these are still worth the price.

    Commenting on the fitment issue, about how the screw in nub wouldn’t fit- I initially had that issue in my 2x3 set. However the plastic inserts on the inside of the cup are yet again not level. So I had to angle the cup slightly and once I did that the nub would screw in. Another fit and finish issue but if you want the nub in to make it secure try that

    I purchased J-Hooks from Titan but unfortunately faced issues. One of the hooks doesn't align with the holes on my Rogue Monster Lite Rack, making it impossible to even start threading. This seems to be a clear case of tolerance issues, as one hook works while the other doesn't.
    Despite acknowledging the defect, Titan's response was disappointing. They suggested I get it repaired by a local metal worker at my own expense, simply because I'm not using a Titan rack. Furthermore, their return policy requires me to take a photo of the part in its box for return authorization, pay for return shipping, and bear a 20% restocking fee. This experience falls short of the customer service standard I expected from Titan.

    How is Bench Pressing from a roller cup - in general?
    At a glance, I presume the roller benefit is for adjusting the bar left to right, but not so much front to back. Seems that might really grind that plastic - not uniformly since the base rolls. You may have more wear on any given spot on the roller from one j-cup to the next??
    I would be interested in replacing my backup 'standard' Rogue J-Cups since those have no UHMW at the tip, and not secure in the back of the rack (hate that swing.)

    Hey Brandon I've been looking on the internet and watching videos in starting up a home gym. I've looked at rml-490 and 690, rep pr-5000 v2, and rm-4. All if then except the rml series I'll have to wait on. I'm fine paying a little extra for something as this will be a long term investment. But I want something that's going to meet my standards and one thing is lat pull down which rep has.

    • @lifterlv
      @lifterlv 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As for the rml series am I confined to mostly monster lite attachments? I'd like something that is versatile and I can add attachments when I want it need to. Idk so many choices just hard to make the right decision. Hate to spend 1800 on rml-690 and later find out I should got the rm series or even rep.

      @BasementBrandon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think rogue makes the higher quality stuff, especially attachments, but rep has done a good job closing the gap. Can’t really go wrong with either. You can adapt some Titan stuff to the rogue and potentially some rep stuff as well
