I'm 16 doing the leaving cert next year, where do start to go on the route to become a pilot, is there a college course I have to do to become a pilot, it has always been a dream for me!!!!!

lake fire You might be relying on a false sense of security there. You will find that younger people are more likely to be up to date with the latest data and procedures, than your 50 & 60 might be. Unfortunately, the older you get, the more likely you are to treat things with contempt. ("Sure I've seen it all"). The same applies in medicine. An experienced doctor or pilot, is not the same as a well informed or tech savvy doctor or pilot. Aviation and medicine are all about technology now.
