I miss Steve Irwin so much, I always loved watching his shows as a little boy. I had numerous surgeries as a kid, and I would always watch Crocodile Hunter in the hospital bed, as his display of fearlessness and risk-taking inspired me in fighting the pain during the recovery process. He was one of my biggest role models, and I remember how utterly heartbroken I was when heard of his passing on my eighth birthday. He may be long gone, but his courage and bravery have stuck with me over the years and through the highs and lows of my life ever since. R.I.P. Steve irwin, you were an absolute legend.
It’s been almost 20 years since his death, and I’ve never heard one negative thing about his character. In all accounts, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
wut I took away most is he said he never had a bad day. he enjoyed every bit even the bad, he always woke expecting a good day. even though he did all thos dangerous stuff, I never expected him to die, it's still shocking.
I thought Steve was invincible and untouchable. I never thought harm would come to him because he was surrounded by his top notch team and he was such a professional. I was so sad when the news channel showed his picture and the caption 1962-2006. I couldn’t believe my eyes 😢
Anyone who has met Steve knows he was a great man. He did more for animals and conservation than anyone. Doesn’t matter how great you are, there will always be people who will criticise.
@@ActVinny2 From what I've heard it sounds like he was swimming directly over the stingray and it likely would view any large creature swimming over it as a potential threat.
@@thatreAlgUy420 I can show you. th-cam.com/video/KKWYfENFLSA/w-d-xo.html The fact that people in the comment section are actually defending his actions is horrifying. He had no business bringing a helpless one month old infant anywhere near a thirteen-foot crocodile, especially while its being fed. The fact that people defend his actions just goes to show you how society allows celebrities to get away with all sorts of outrageous behavior that would have landed anyone else in jail. People keep saying he was in complete control of the situation. I don't know how they rationalize that with the number of times this man has been bitten (snakes and crocodiles) or slipped and fallen. How many injuries has he sustained during his carrier. Just falling on that baby could have killed him.
I miss Steve, he was one of a kind and I have learned that it is good to respect all life. I don't kill insects I remove them out of my house and let them return to their natural habitat. I love animals. All life has been made by one God. Mr. X
This should have more likes. He tells us what to do to survive. He guides us to make us live. For god sake. Please send him to heaven if he dies. And he will become an angel. Just like you god. Your a angel well.. actually a goddess. And Joyful and Peaceful Goddess. I will keep yoi in my Believing Heart and never let you go... Amen 🙏
Sadly, I agree with those who say Steve was reckless. He deliberately irritated dangerous animals, and we all knew that one day he would get seriously hurt, or killed. The most appalling thing he did was to use his baby son as croc bait, all for a 'thrill'. His wife said Steve knew what he was doing, well, so did the croc. He did an enormous amount of good for wildlife, but his over the top behaviour was plain wrong.
i am sure it was his fault because if the stingray was trying to leave he probably startled it and pissed it off because he was not letting it leave. viewing being in their enviorment is one thing but pissing any animal or creature off in their enviorment is another.
Wow talk about victim-blaming, what a brutal thing to say..if anything, he was just way too reckless/overconfident and overcomfortable to jump in after a stingray smh. Foolish
Id like to see the death video because i have a natural morbid fascination with death but im wise enough to know that i will wish i didn't watch it if u i seen it especially because i love Steve so much ❤

Unfortunately his fault. He knew the dangers of these peaceful swimmers. The footage was locked away under orders from the family
I agree. He knew the dangers and probably always thought he would die in a dangerous way such as this.
Steve was one of my biggest influences growing up, and I still miss him to this day
Always amazes me how out of all creatures like spiders, snakes, sharks or crocs it was the mighty stingray which caused his death
All I'll say is the legendary Steve Irwin miscalculated a sting ray's behavior.
May God be with you.
Seeing how arrogant he always was while playing with his life, I'm amazed he lived even as long as he did.
Loser
He was as humble as a person can be.
I don’t think he was arrogant. I think he was too comfortable in the field, on land or in water. He passed, show kindness. It’s unfortunate.
He never came across as arrogant to me.
@@caverlady he always gave out an impression that he thought he was immortal. Maybe he really thought he was.

Rest up Steve - it’s 2024 n I ain’t gonna lie I miss coming home and turning on the discovery channel n watching your adventures
Loved Steve Irwin....what an awful tragedy for such a profound nature lover and conservationist
I don't think anybody has messed so much with reptiles, like, ever.
Between being killed by some dangerous animal and some TOP SECRET, it's confusing.
I miss Steve
Damn RIP Steve

I know, right? The only person animals loved.

He was bonkers for endangering his baby. Child services should've taken it
I never saw the baby footage
When I saw it, I lost all respect for him.

This account is chock-full of inaccuracies, as to the death.

I bet one of Steve’s crew pulled the barbed wire from his chest but they just haven’t admitted it because then they’ll be admitting to killing Steve!

Just heard of him in bio class in rn
Imagine spending your whole life jumping on crocodiles and holding deadly snakes and a stingray is what ends up killing you...
Well they're really dangerous too
@@Lilalalalalallllla Clearly they can be, but deaths from stingrays are much more rare in comparison.

So the barb made it through his life vest?
Steve Irwin shouldn't have been swimming to close to the stingray.

Any animal can be deadly
Seen the southpark satan party he was there.😮
This guy had a death wish and made entertainment of it.

When did he die? Maybe someday someone will invent the time machine, so the when is important.
