How cool is it that with all the frustration and dislike you had the first time you tried the spoonbill. That the fishing gods reward your hard work and creativity with your largest walleye ever. You are truly blessed my friend!!!🎉🎉🎉
Man, that was some AWESOME WORK, NATE! Glad the fish got the memo that you needed to make a few baits offishial 😉🎣 And Congrats on the PB! Never would've expected that on the spoonbill, but holy moly, what a feesh! I'd bet that one really made the heart feel all warm & fuzzy. 💜🎣
I have been watching you for years, in fact I think I have seen every video you have posted and this is the best days fishing I have ever seen you have. That was awesome! It reminds me of the day my Mom and I caught 97 sand trout in one spot. I had just bought a boat and we were trying it out for the first time. That was a great memory maker for both of us!
So I’m not a big fisherman and I’ve only ever made like 2-3 baits but I love this content. I’ve learned a lot from your methods and painting that I can apply elsewhere!! Thank you!
Heck Yes. Nice Work, Nate. we all need that kind of day, wherever we are & whatever we’re up to. thanks for taking us along. it’s great to see efforts pay off.
I’m 15, and I rarely ever catch Walleye, I live around a lot of bass and trout spots here in Arkansas, but not a lot of walleye. I used to live in Illinois, however, and on a trip with my grandpa out to wonder lake I caught my second walleye every, 6.14 pounds. Definitely one of my favorite fish ever! I’m glad you had a good day fishin, and I’m lovin the content! Edit: I caught it on a fire tiger lipless crank near a dam 👍
Quality walleye man that was epic. I would have liked to see the actions of all of those baits in the water briefly before you fished each one of them. I know you probably showed most of them in their individual vids but I think it would have added nicely to this one. Keep doing your thing man you're a lot of fun to watch.
I love the video! Put that insta360 RS on Ultra Wide if you don't already use that. Great to see that you got that camera, it's a lot of fun. Tight lines!
3:05 😂😂😂 _”Sinks like a rock, fishes like a plastic bag”_ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 This is why I love your commentary and your podcasts! Me and my wife both! When’s your next podcast episode coming out?? 😁
You should get some VMC swivel snaps. Ive used them for trout, panfish, bass, pike, musky, catfish, ect... Ive never had any break on me so far. The line always breaks before the snap does. I used to tie all of my lures for years until I started using the snap swivels and I will never go back to tying lures again. Love the videos!!! That walleye was definitely a mounter!
I would like to see you make your own "Banjo Lure" using your own design changes. I have used the Banjo Lure but did not like having to use the o-rings I think there is a better idea and if anybody can redesign it it's you!
Still would love to see a lochness monster where the head is above water and the flippers do a little spinney/splashy action. Thatd be neat! Your videos are super dope though! Love the art!
That’s so cool. I watched the guy hand make that marlin lure and said he was going to send it to you but it never got official. Now this is a redemption shot for the books! Marling baits catching a fish with a marling bait. Not by marling baits 😂
I think trolling would be a good way to try a lot of those lures. The little marlin would be fun to drag in the saltwater and I bet it would catch fish. That's a really awesome river full of cooperative fish. I've never caught walleye, small mouths, or pike so I'd love to go to a spot like that. I'm impressed with how well the lures did too.
I love how much you're shaking when holding up the spoonbill after that walleye! Such a cool and raw moment! Awesome work!!
DUDE!!! I don’t think anyone has ever had this good of a day fishing custom baits ever EVER! So rad
I've never had this good of a day of fishing on any bait haha.
@@Ryanoceros06 😂😂😂 right! He caught one of everything
Because all these TH-camrs videos are fake. You didn't know?😂 Time to wake up guys.
@@jambergee7929 do shut up
@@jambergee7929 : Wenn Du solche Tage noch nicht erlebt hast, solltest Du mehr fischen gehen, anstatt anderen Lügen zu unterstellen 🤔
Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth bass... isn't that considered "The Cycle" in freshwater fishing? 😊😊😊
What a day!! Excellent!!
How cool is it that with all the frustration and dislike you had the first time you tried the spoonbill. That the fishing gods reward your hard work and creativity with your largest walleye ever. You are truly blessed my friend!!!🎉🎉🎉
Awesome walleye. Congrats on the paddlefish performance!

That kind of success deserves a like.
This episode must be on the list of “Most Official” episodes ever. Thanks for bringing us along.
4 species in one outing. Awesome.
A bowfin lure would be awesome!
And it would look like a snakehead too, so maybe it would catch fish in places without mud fish.
One of the best vids yet! You DESTROYED it out there!
That's a great little spot. Largies, smallies, pike, walleye
😂 yeah it's got everything lol
I have been watching you for years, in fact I think I have seen every video you have posted and this is the best days fishing I have ever seen you have. That was awesome! What a day!!! Congratulations! I think it's the fishing gods rewarding you for all of your hard work and awesome baits you've shared with us
Awesome catches. Thanks for giving Chip some screen time too. Good to see the pupper.
It's been over a year since we moved from Phoenix to Alabama, haven't been fishing since we got here and this video has me juiced up.
Thanks Brother
So I’m not a big fisherman and I’ve only ever made like 2-3 baits but I love this content. I’ve learned a lot from your methods and painting that I can apply elsewhere!! Thank you!
much of an accomplished day for fishing good job :)
Thanks man!! I’m glad you caught some fish out there!! That walleye was giant!!! Great work!
glad to see your hard work over the winter pay off!
That looked like a magical day of fishing!!! Those days are awesome!!
😅 foreshadowing lol
Really cool video Marling baits..
Really really nice walleye 👍
Congrats on the pb walleye that was definitely my highlight of the video that was absolutely dope. Tight lines man.
Walleye, 2 pikes and no lost baits! Stellar video!
You were busting everything with a moutth, in the mouth. Awesome school bus walleye!
You tied on the super glue lure and habitually added "..and baking soda" 🤣🤣
Congrats on the walleye as well! Awesome fish!
Chip in the first 2 seconds is the best way to start the video!
Epic day of fishing too! O'fishall!!!!
Great day of fishing 🎣 congrats.
Epic fish caught on some beautiful baits! Great vid Marling!
I love the creativity in all of your lures!
I’ve received a lot of guff about tying lines old school. Thanks for supporting the cause
Good catches man! Thanks for sharing!
Met the guy from Throwback Swimbaits at one of the Cabela's in Minnesota. Super nice guy. He had nothing but praise and respect for you
Awesome! Congratulations on your personal best walleye.
That walleye was huge! Four species, couple big ones. Great morning on the water.
Wow....The walleye was a tank!
looked like you really enjoyed this trip out fishing!!!
I love these videos they are so relaxing. The best
i am jelly of how great your morning fishing trip went!
Nate was shaking with excitement after releasing that MONSTER walleye😂
Heck Yes. Nice Work, Nate. we all need that kind of day, wherever we are & whatever we’re up to. thanks for taking us along. it’s great to see efforts pay off.
Congratulations on the PB walleye man!
Nice walleye. Always nice to have a fishing day like that.
Was not expecting that spoonbill bait to catch anything! All nice looking baits
The trophy walleye for the paddlefish!!!! Makes sense it would be on a sit
What a day of fishing or should I say catching🤗.Oh yah you did a great job of proofing those baits.👍💪♥️
Insane walleye!!
Been watching for about 3-4 years, by far your best posts. ❤
That's a productive stretch of river!! Great video! Great catches!
I know it’s gonna be a good day when I can wake up and watch Marling baits
Insane catches love to see it and hear all the gab.
That football smallie was almost as impressive as the walleye. This was an amazing video. Super fun.
I just started following you this winter. It’s awesome to see you test out some lures during a time when fish actually bite lol
I am entranced by your work!!
loved this video...watching you make them is one thing... this is another... more please lol...
Those types of days are what bring me back out! I can't imagine the exhilaration catching them in something I created!
That was awesome.. crushing it with so many custom baits. Love the TB wake walker… such a solid swimbait
After a beautiful but disappointing day of fishing myself, it was awesome to watch you have such a great day on the water
That was amazing to see that Walter on your spoonbill! The other baits were awesome too! I Like that little FOF I'm gonna look them up
One of the best fishing I’ve seen in awhile, congratulations on the PB
You killed it! Great job!

What an excellent fishing day!
Man, you had a great day of catching everything-O’fishal smackdown 🤙🏻
I bet that walleye was about 7.5lb.🎉 nice one man!!! 👍 👏
What fantastic day of fishing. That Battle with fish is so exciting 🤤
Mark the fish on the fishing pole, then measure the marks when home. I've had to do that when I forgot my scale. Just a suggestion.
Man oh man I love having days like this 👍
That was a dream fishing morning right there!
Love the bait making videos and was definitely nice to see a great fishing video. Always nice to see you just having a fun day. Keep on keeping ❤❤❤
Dude they were chewing that day! Beautiful lil river and day ta boot!
a lot of youtubers harm fish trying to make sure they have good video and pictures I respect you for letting them go quickly
Catching giant walleyes like that is such a blessing. I still remember catching a 27" when I was about 14. One of my fondest memories!
Quality walleye man that was epic. I would have liked to see the actions of all of those baits in the water briefly before you fished each one of them. I know you probably showed most of them in their individual vids but I think it would have added nicely to this one.

Man downright excellent day on the water brother! What a walleye!!
Awesome catches. I missed the edits at the end, glad they're back.
Bad a$$ way to go Mr. Marling. Love waking up to this. Much love from the Texas coast.

That grasp on the little pike at 15:21 made me laugh out loud keep up the great work 👍

Great idea!Awsome lures & amazing channel.Wishing u much happiness and wisdom to continue making these great baits✌#Miss,Ont.Canada
That's the most solid day of fishing I've seen in a while. Multi species days are the best.
I would like to see you make your own "Banjo Lure" using your own design changes. I have used the Banjo Lure but did not like having to use the o-rings I think there is a better idea and if anybody can redesign it it's you!
The video I’ve been waiting for! I get excited for a video like this after winter!
Just here to cele-bait with you on such a banner day of catching. Fish on!
Awesome day, catch and cook next?
👍🏼👊🏼🦖🍺
This was a awesome one to watch, an idea for you could be re-creating vintage lures like a vintage musky or walleye lures
I clicked the like button when you posted. You were due for a great fishing morning :). Looking forward to the next bait!
Best video yet! Ive been watching since 2018 and this is my new favorite video!
I am blessed to get a fishing vid from marling
Still would love to see a lochness monster where the head is above water and the flippers do a little spinney/splashy action. Thatd be neat! Your videos are super dope though! Love the art!
YYYUP! That’s how walleyes fight, just feels like you hit bottom/ snagged bottom but man are they GOOD TASTING
That walleye was like something out of a 50s monster movie
I've been waiting for you to use the lures you made during winter. Awesome content this 1 is.
That there is a damn fine bate bag you have there sir!🐊
15:18 That's a Tiger Muskie! Nice fish!
That’s so cool. I watched the guy hand make that marlin lure and said he was going to send it to you but it never got official. Now this is a redemption shot for the books! Marling baits catching a fish with a marling bait. Not by marling baits 😂
Banger of a day. Awesome fishing
