You have to get two spinning wheels and fill in the slices with certain bait characteristics. Spin the wheels and Make the bait. It might force you to make something you haven’t thought of before. Number of joints, number of hook hangers, type of bait, realistic or non realistic paint scheme, lip size/shape, blade size/shape, dive depth. Have some fun with it.
Lure idea: A fishing lure guitar needs a guitar fishing lure in return! Might work best as an acoustic guitar shaped metal spoon... but a miniature version of the lure guitar could work too!
last year I actually made a guitar case lipless crank bait and I made a squared hook hanger where the handle would be and it looked " pretty spiffy" just an idea.
Who would be interested in seeing a "Food Chain" series? Like make a small arthropod then once it's oFISHal move on to a minnow and so on until he catches a Musky.
Slow-mo close-up fish releases (especially of heroically-sized bluegill) is something I did not realized I take joy in. Love it Nate, keep up the good work!
The Woodshop Rocks program was run out of my school and I made a guitar in 7th grade. The teacher running the program Mr. Calkins is an incredibly passionate teacher who has spent his life teaching kids important building skills. His class is a class where I learned skills I still use to this day and is one of the few classes in school that genuinely prepared me for life. It is awesome to see his program get a shout out here!
As a guitarist whose been watching your channel for a while now, The lure guitar is epic!!! I think some first position open chords would be a great start if you havent already started down the rabbit hole.
I’d love to see you make a soft plastic version of the bullfrog tadpole. Maybe call it the Bullwog. And, if you struggle on the next fish to carve, I think a gobie would challenge you a bit. Keep up the great content!
um... I need that crankbait guitar. To a guitarist/fisherman that is the most beautiful creation I've seen in my entire life, you are truly blessed to be the owner of such a masterpiece.
You have so many Baits! You should do a strategic fishing trip. Calculate the the temperature of the water and what the fish like, and make a 35-minute video. At least. Use the force. LOL
Love the little Sunday videos. Love the fishing. Love the guitar. Love being one of the 'people' that suggested 'Oblibaitions'. But you gotta love that righteous guy on the guitar at the close. Awesome content !
I can’t believe you have 5,700 likes and only 350 comments. Let’s go people. This guy should be making over $200k on TH-cam. This is my favorite TH-cam channel by far.
I'm watching together with my fiance. He's here for the lure making/fishing content. I am here for the Chip content. Every time Chip is around I start happily screaming 🤣 I want more Chipppp!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Now, I've watched so so many of your videos...but this 1 for me was probably top 5. You had fun ,even with all the stress of editing so much footy. Your the carving king. Tight lines
Awesome video! That guitar both looks and sound awesome! And I've got an idea for you. Soft plastic/rubber fins with integrated hooks. It's a long shot but if there's one baitmaker I think that could do it, it's you!
That guitar brand is the same brand that sponsored the band Loathe. He made my favorite album of 2020 and a top ten album of mine “I let it in and it took everything”. Thanks for the content man.
I love watching you fish. We are the same that we enjoy fishing for the sport. It doesn't matter if it's panfish we catch or monster bass. Your joy is contagious. Keep it up! 😁
Im excited every time a new video posts from you, im even more excited when its a video with you fishing with what you created!!!!! Keep it up your doing great 👍
Hey marling, I just want to say that you have been a big inspiration to me lately. I really want to get into the bait making hobby and I finished my first lure today. It looks okay, but still lots of work to do.
That's a sweet smallmouth. Nice video this time. Nice to see some success. Smart thinking for doing this video. You've restored my confidence in your bait making skills.
As a piano player, you'll definitely be able to learn guitar. The difference between sounding 88 individual fixed-pitch wires with felt hammers and picking/plucking 6 variable pitch wires with your hands or a pick is a nice contrast.

awesome idea
Really love this idea. Loads of potential to get some odd and crazy baits made
Mad idea bro! I can't imagine what crazy baits would spin up. Kudos to you good sir, kudos 👏 ❤
Do it, do it now!!!!
this will be perfect for when you get the bait making van on the road! 😆

How bout a bait that can be fished with as well as used and a guitar pick, the acoustic idea is great, though.
With a guitar pick for the lip.
Wow! That black crappie looked gorgeous, you definitely need to do that paint scheme!
A top water bait that looks like a boat or a small tug boat would be cool. Like a 4 inch battleship with hooks on it would look nice.
Submarine shaped jerk bait to match.
put a buzz blade of the back as a little boat prop
He actually made it
Dude the grind you maintain for our entertainment is next level. We all love you man!
Can't wait for this seasons "bank lure builds" love how detailed you can get even away from your home shop.
The information I’ve learned from Nate is priceless, 50+ years of woodworking and I’m still learning…thank you so much Nate.
Who would be interested in seeing a "Food Chain" series? Like make a small arthropod then once it's oFISHal move on to a minnow and so on until he catches a Musky.
Ending on the bunkertar was pretty sweet!

I'm watching together with my fiance. He's here for the lure making/fishing content. I am here for the Chip content. Every time Chip is around I start happily screaming 🤣 I want more Chipppp!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like the just plain fishing videos too. I know it’s frustrating to not catch anything, but I’m sure others enjoy it too.
I think a weekly 3 minute update video of you learning guitar would keep me sane for at least an extra 3 minutes a week
As has been said before !
Never give up we all know there are dumb fish with our name on it .
Keep the faith brother!
Now, I've watched so so many of your videos...but this 1 for me was probably top 5. You had fun ,even with all the stress of editing so much footy. Your the carving king. Tight lines

Im so interested in the aggressively ribbed swimbait. I think it looks so cool and there are so many different color combos you could make.

That guitar was cooool. ☺️
It's a great day when it's just making everything ofishlil
All that and a Kubrick reference. I'd say mission accomplished. LOL
Finally I have been helping my friends to learn how to make lures, but of course mine turned out the best
