You have to get two spinning wheels and fill in the slices with certain bait characteristics. Spin the wheels and Make the bait. It might force you to make something you haven’t thought of before. Number of joints, number of hook hangers, type of bait, realistic or non realistic paint scheme, lip size/shape, blade size/shape, dive depth. Have some fun with it.

Lure idea: A fishing lure guitar needs a guitar fishing lure in return! Might work best as an acoustic guitar shaped metal spoon... but a miniature version of the lure guitar could work too!
last year I actually made a guitar case lipless crank bait and I made a squared hook hanger where the handle would be and it looked " pretty spiffy" just an idea.
How bout a bait that can be fished with as well as used and a guitar pick, the acoustic idea is great, though.
With a guitar pick for the lip.
A top water bait that looks like a boat or a small tug boat would be cool. Like a 4 inch battleship with hooks on it would look nice.
Submarine shaped jerk bait to match.
put a buzz blade of the back as a little boat prop

The Woodshop Rocks program was run out of my school and I made a guitar in 7th grade. The teacher running the program Mr. Calkins is an incredibly passionate teacher who has spent his life teaching kids important building skills. His class is a class where I learned skills I still use to this day and is one of the few classes in school that genuinely prepared me for life. It is awesome to see his program get a shout out here!

As a piano player, you'll definitely be able to learn guitar. The difference between sounding 88 individual fixed-pitch wires with felt hammers and picking/plucking 6 variable pitch wires with your hands or a pick is a nice contrast.

You gotta do a trip to the land down under next winter, I'll put you on a big barra in absolute paradise. You're big baits will slay some absolute giant fish here, barramundi, threadfin salmon, jewies, Spanish mackerel and all kinds of reef fish. Plus it's blue water and blue skies with white sand beaches.

Ok, Marling, time for a quick do it yourself guitar course.I taught myself after playing other instruments too. Start by drawing 6 parallel lines then perpendicular lines for the fret bars, yes all 22, and draw circles on each fret. In the circles put the letter notes for the E major scale. Fill in all the notes for the whole neck. The patterns should be very recognizable Pick out the 1 and the 3 and the 5, voila an E cord. Then it's just like a keyboard, move up one fret get a f flat scale. A little practice and you can do scales all up and down the neck. And sliding up and down the neck is far easier than crossovers. God luck bud.
