    This is the fourth video I have watched on this trick. First of all, I like it when they use a different method of vanishing the ace for one or more of them. I think the same way four times is not only repetitive but not as interesting as using more than one method. Also you leave the four cards that you reveal in a pile so that you can only see the top card. If I was doing this, I would fan them out and lay them down so that the spectators can still see all four cards. Just my two cents worth. :-)

    Vanish your aces a different way each time.

    Excellent simple teaching on how to do this effect just using the basic elmsley count on each pile! Like it

      You can buy this trick in every magic store, and it's in several card trick books aswell.
      The real clever tricks you can only buy in a professional shop and are pretty expensive. You won't find any tutorials about those on the internet;-)

    Classic routine performed well.
    I much prefer the more impromptu "off the cuff" ungimimcked version I use. It involves the four Aces with the four Kings and the Elmsley Count utilised throughout . The finish is clean and all the cards and the deck even can be examined. If you don't know my method already I'm sure it wouldn't take you long to figure out. Great video with crystal explanation...Cheers

    Viewers: if you buy a Bicycle "double faced deck" from any magic shop (I use Penguin.com mostly) it will have 2 each of the gimmicked cards used in this video. You will also have lots of other double faced cards of various kinds for for other tricks you can search out. This deck should only cost 2 bucks more than a standard deck. Learning to split cards is cool, but it takes practice.

    It really bums me out this trick requires special cards - I'm guessing Ricky Jay needed them for his four queens routine as well. (The only other way is to have four extra queens, which would be OKish.) I'm one of those purists who believes any trick that requires special cards is invalid. I won't even use strip or Svengali decks. My personal preference. Still a cool act.

      I too, am a purest and I share your opinion on the use of gimmicked cards. However, over the past 25 years that I have been practicing and performing magic, my opinion has changed, but only slightly. This is the one and only effect that I will use gimmicked cards.

  • @stephenconos7644
    @stephenconos7644 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Another good tip:
    Take out the three regular cards in the deck that match with the gimmicks, and then shuffle to show there's no setup, with the three cards still on the bottom, with no risk of the duplicates being in the deck

    Bro, I know this was years ago, i hope you worked on your lifts, before the reveal ur triple lift was so exposed you could see it from a mile away. I'm not suggesting you would perform the trick that sloppy normally but you don't want to pick up bad habits.

    It is will be better if the ases disappear completely with the another three cards as gimmicks, and not turn the ases to another card and still be four card.
