    This is my personal take on the McDonald's aces and one of the cleanest ace routine I have seen yet. This is a collection of my own ideas mixed with other people's ideas I've seen online put all together in this routine. Is an easy handling, so I hope you like it. It takes several steps to memorize and to practice that at the end I believe will be worth the practice.
    At the end, I will explain some variations (in case you don't like doing the Elsmley count).

    What a great version of this effect. And the tutorial was even better... so many small but wonderful, and very important subtleties, to finally deliver such a beautiful effect. I'm greatful for this tutorial.

    That's a pretty clever trick with gaffs, as a practicing magician of some odd 20+ years now I just love gaffed cards, not everyone is gifted in slieghts with cards, coins and money are preferable in my close-up routines, so keep up the good work and we'll keep tuning in..

    Like always great work Fernando. These tips could be sold for profit amongst the magic community and yet you continue to add beautiful subtleties to routines or create new ones for free. As a fellow magician I can only show respect for that kind of fellowship. Props to you Fernando! Beautiful routine

    very powerful routine and especially since I am used to this not using double face cards you fooled me completely - I was so focused on the hands, expecting some laser deal or similar but then I of course did not pay attention anymore to the cards. :D nicely done and thanks for sharing !

    This is the fifth video I have watched on this trick. I think it might be the best one yet. :-) It is going to take more work and practice than some of the others, but just looks so good! One video I watched just did the same elmsly count four times in a row....not only repetitive, but I like the variation of vanishing the ace a different way each time. This is some good stuff. Very impressed.

    Hello a question about Gaff cards, it must be Spade 4, Spade 7 and Heart 7 or is the back of the Gaff Aces no matter?

    • @stormyweather9917

      The theory behind that is a court card draws more attention than a lowly spot card, and a spectator would more readily think, "Hey, what happened to the King of Spades?"

  • @DaiHard64
    @DaiHard64 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very nicely done. I think some of the "proving" moves at the beginning are unnecessary, but that's just my personal preference. It was smooth and stylish, confident and commanding. And I love that there was no patter. Now - why do you go on to expose the effect? Not in a book or a commercially produced video. On TH-cam, for free, so anyone I show this effect to can just come here, learn the secret and never be amazed by it again. Why? For likes, thumbs-ups, a few more subscribers? Very disappointing, especially from someone as talented as you.

    • @paulhamj6175
      @paulhamj6175 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you seem to condone the publishing of this effect in a book or video but not on this public forum, when the only difference between the two is that you would havent pay for those things. Surely you ought to be against the publishing of it in those places also, or your stance makes no sense.
      Perhaps the fact that it is most likely learning magicians that would bother to take the time to find a particular trick and then go on to watch and learn it does not come into it for you? How the hell do you think magicians are supposed to learn the craft today if they cannot afford to buy a bloody book?
      Tell me, how would someone you performed this trick to, know how to come and find out the secrets to the trick...I mean, do you tell every layman the name of a trick before you perform it?
      My advice is that you don't do that. 😉
