Arid and dry. Not surprising from a region that doesn't receive much rain. No trees in the streets. People ignore the fact that before the War, Sicily, and much of southern Italy, was stricken with Malarial Mosquitos. Certain marshes outside of Rome were notorius for that, and Benito Mussilini was instrumental in helping drain them. Neverthess, before the introduction of pesticides, Southern Italy had a problem with Malaria.
Many thanks Jessi and Alessio - wonderful video! Especially liked to see the beach club - much easier and more convenient than having to carry in your own umbrella, chairs, food, drinks, etc to the beach. ☀️⛱️
So wonderful to see you guys back in Italy , I feel like you guys should meet Luca and Sarah in Sicily!! They have a home in the north of Italy 🇮🇹 and now they have a home in southern Italy on the island of Sicily. I hope you get to meet them.!!
an interesting thing is that Malta was also very heavily damaged by the 1693 earthquake. Many buildings in both Sicily and Malta are built in the same Sicilian Baroque style and so look very similar
So pretty!! The look on the cats face was “you caught me 😂”. The countryside of Italy will always be my favorite ❤. You both look so happy..thank you for sharing ❤️🤗
I was born and raised in Italy and I was blessed to be able to spend all summers in Sicily (Marzamemi. 25 Km south from Noto). In 1998 I moved to Canada because of my career. Now I am literally going crazy because I REALLY want to move back and live in Sicily but I have no idea how to go about it. My work (which I like) is in Canada and I have no idea what I could do for a living in Sicily. I feel trapped 😪 I kooooooove Sicily.
Thank you for this wonderful video! It’s great that you give your honest reviews of the food - we trust your judgement as you both know what your talking about when it comes to quality. I’ve only been to Noto got a half day and look forward to going back again sometime!
Because of your videos from Sicily,we are going next year! Thank you for sharing and I agree that Taormina had the better granita, well, it looked way better as we have not tasted it yet lol. Aloha from Hawai'i
thank you for these videos , i really appreciate that you give us a peek into your lives . This tour may be as close as I will ever get but who knows. thank you again
Love your Sicily trip! Thank you for sharing all those precious tipps. May I ask how long your trip was? I plan to surprise my husband on his 50th birthday and take him there. We would have 7 days in Sicily. Do you think that would be enough, to do the same tour you did? Any hotel recommendations? Must try restaurants? Grazie mille ragazzi🥰🙏
You guys having a romantic moment with the camera set up behind you and I look down and see Jessi’s bloody backs to her ankles, lolll😂😂😂😂 That was so funny. Jessi why didn’t you stop and buy shoes, OMG how did you walk like that?
Thank you so much for bringing Sicily back to me (so to speak). I lived there long ago when I was in the military yet there were so many places I didn't visit. Looking forward to your next visits. Btw, you two are like one of those overly-good-looking couples who could pose for photographs they use to sell picture frames.
I love your videos, you're such a sweet couple! I can't wait to visit Sicilia! One thing I would prefer is if you narrate rather than write the information on the video, as I usually watch/listen to it, whilst doing other things, so if the background is only music a lot of key information is missed.
It's a good video and I like it, Noto is a beautiful city, but please don't do subtitles. They are hard to read, they get washed out by the background, and they are distracting. Just say the things you want us to know. A presto ciao! 😊😊😊
With few exceptions the highest rated food places are…mediocre at best. Perhaps at one time they deserved that reputation but as you have pointed out before that notoriety has it bad sides as well.
i have a question .. how is her Italian? Estoy estudiando mi espanol and it's kcking my ass. He seems to wish her Italian was better , but at times he entertained by it.
As someone who speaks Spanish and studied Italian (I am somewhere between B1-B2 in Italian), I can tell she isn't fluent in Italian, but she's trying, which is the most important thing 😊
Trip Advisor? The Idiots' Misguided Book for Travel, you mean? From more credible sources, it's always rated as one of the top pastry shops in all of Italy by ITALIAN organizations.
You guys always look so much happier in Italy❤ thanks for bringing us along ❤
Italy and Sicily are so beautiful. The colors of the buildings…the light…everything. Gorgeous.

Quando siamo andati a Noto abbiamo mangiato una granita con brioche per colazione più prima di partire una cassata e un gelato. Buonissimi!!!❤
Adoro noto. Siamo andati a maggio per la festa del infiorata. Era bellissima!
Thank you for taking us along! I love seeing the architecture, so beautiful!
I don't know what's more exciting, the places or the food! 😍😋
Tutti e due. Questa è l' Italia !!!!!❤️🇮🇹👍
Fabulous town!!! Jessi, get some comfy walking shoes!!!! You both are too cute! Love the food reviews.
Many thanks Jessi and Alessio - wonderful video! Especially liked to see the beach club - much easier and more convenient than having to carry in your own umbrella, chairs, food, drinks, etc to the beach. ☀️⛱️
So glad you enjoyed it! The beach was very peaceful. We were lucky to not have a lot of people there!

Thanks for bringing me along to Sicily. It's so beautiful there. I would love to see you visit Malta. My Dad was born there :)

The idea of the magic hour and turning the city to gold!! Don't see those skills today using natural elements. Wow!!
The Air BNB was nice!!

Have you decided where to live in Italy?
my favorite part is when she called him Mussolini 😁
Hey, guys! Have you been to Termini Imerese?
So would you say you’re channel is turning into more of a travel in Italy channel?
TOM CRUISE - I can't stop thinking about Tom Cruise when I see Alessio! I think Alessio is much better looking!
haha! it is funny because when I was working in the movie industrie, my job was stand in and they ask me to do it for Tom cruise LOL
16:17 "I am laughing." ROFLMAO!! XD
It's like a city in Spain...all made of golden stone...
Doesn’t look anything like Versailles. Very cool though 😎
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍🥰🥰
I agree on the bells, what?
Duce refers to Mussolini 😅
Duce just means leader.
IL Duce, The Leader, for most people is a reference to Mussolini.
I still want to know what she accidently said.
she said "Il Duce" instead of "Il Duca". Duca means Duke, Duce is how we sometimes refer to Mussolini.
@@mygetawayart interesting. Never heard that one.

I agree, I just commented the same thing 😅

Everybody says the same about Caffe Sicilian, all that hype….pff

caffé sicilia, tripadvisor 3.5/5... Tourists trap
