Such a nice depiction of both cities. Really miss them a lot. I'm from Catania myself, but I live in the UK. It's not often that I encounter such a good, simple, lovely video about my home town ❤️ Thank you

I loved loved this video. My first duty station as a Marine was in Sigonella Sicily. I went to Taoromina about once a month. Of course Catania was pretty close to Sigonella so went there often too. Thank you for posting this video, its been 40 years since I have been there and would love to go back. Ciao!

The coffee and ice cream is an Affogato not granita. Granita is a crushed ice desert and usually fruity, lemon or orange in particular

Going soon I hope, thanks for sharing your video etc. the little extras like bread olives they put on table do they charge extra and did you visit other places that you recommend, many thanks

    • @PreetiGills

Sounds great that you are going soon! No, typically in most places in Italy they do not charge for the extra little nibble they bring out with our drinks. Just be sure to ask first but in my experience it has been free. Let me know if you have any other specific questions! Enjoy

I just visited Catania, also went to Etna, Palermo, Tormina and Outlet village. I would NEVER again go to Sicily. The streets are SO dirty, trafic is dangerous both for drivers and pedestrians. The buses are not reliable. There are people sleeping on the streets and bus stops. They come in caffee to ask you for money or cigarets. They wont speak English EVEN on airport. AIRPORT FOR GOD SAKE. I hope this comment helps somene because i wish i saw this before i came. Also if you dont bring cash you will have bad time because 95% places will take only cash.

    • @BrendaZiporlin

I have been to Sicily 3 times and never encountered dirty streets or homeless people.
