I'm a complete camera/video editing newbie and I came here looking for a 'cheat sheet' but little did I know that I might also learn everything I'll ever need to know about the whole shebang in 10 minutes! Many thanks!
Hey man, thanks for all this usefull information! I think I have watched all of your video’s since starting out with my hero 8. What I notice is your settings really apply for “normal” shooting but I use my gopro on a fpv drone. I think it would be very interesting if you can make some sort of tutorial for this kind of use? Keep up the good work man, although not specific for my use, I still love your video’s and learned a lot from it! 👊 would you please consider making a specific video for fast movement / fpv drones and use of nd filters with them, thank you in advance😊
Great overview - thanks! One question please ... is there a way to create new presets/profiles on the Hero 11 Mini? I can't find see an option for this like on the regular Hero 11 Black. Any pointers appreciated :)
I was actually disappointed at how few settings it seems to have. Then I realized u have to go into the menu. Idk if I like that. Edit: ur video is awesome. I feel dumb. I realized I was on the easy settings when I switched it to pro I unlocked everything at the HUD. Now I can zoom and change resolution and such. That's fucking cool. Thanks man. Ur a cool dude and u know ur craft. I should've played around a little bit more.
Why are my frame rate options different to yours? I have the same option, eg, standard and the frame rates I see are 200 100 50 25 and 24. Yours seem more sensible. Is it a country issue, I’m in the UK. And what’s the difference between 24 and 25? Many thanks.
Interesting video, do you live in Italy? I write you in English 😊 Just one information: is it possible to manually set the shutter speed in TimeLapse mode (both in video o photo mode)? Because I saw in GoPro 8 the possibility to manually set the shutter speed for TimeLapse as an option of Protune section but I didn't see it anymore from GoPro 9 software and following. Thank you in advance 🙂👍🏻
@@MountMediaChannel Thank you very much in advance. Someone else said me that should be possible in Night Lapse mode, is it true? Is it usable during the day too?
I got better, but i still dont get that good quality of photo, lots of shaking in the video when i walk and film, and it dosent look like 4 k more like 720p. Im New at this (1 week only) can it be wrong sd card? I pay for 128gb 25$
The SD-Card should not have an impact on image quality - but to shoot in 4K or higher with the GoPro 11 you should use a card with a UHS-3 or V30 rating - check out the link in the video description
Wait…you use a $3,000 camera instead of the GoPro 11 to shoot this episode…about GoPro 11? Can you post examples of your studio video using only the GoPro 11 so we can see the difference? Thank you! 👍
At this point I'm basically watching all this guys videos. Seems GoPro is to PRO for my noob ass, or I wasn't expecting to have to go to GoPro university to get good quality, but that's the case.
People around the world (and including you) just keeping say "cinematic 24 FPS, cinematic 24FPS" There is nothing behind it! What is more important is to use 180 degree rule for shutter speed. In order to achieve motion blur. Certainly 60FPS way more better and smoother than 24FPS, just use 1/120 shutter speed - that's it - simple. 24FPS is very bad and choppy, never use it. No point to use it.

Thanks so much for the rundown! I’m rather new to GoPros and just video shooting in general, and found this very insightful!
Thank you for this! Very informative and to the point.
Great tutorial for advanced settings! Awesome! It's my first GoPro.Thanks!💯
Question why shot in 5.3K if most monitors and tvs today only goes to 4K?
Your explanation is amazing. I really impressed .
hello, thank you for the GP 11 Black review however, this does not apply to gp 11 black MINI
This was a fantastic video, and i really appreciate the help!
Have you tested lowlight 5k vs 4k? and thanks for your helpful videos
EXCELLENT VIDEO I SUBSCRIBE THANKS👍GREETINGS FROM
🇨🇭SWITZERLAND🇨🇭
Great information for me, a newbie to GP-11. Thanks.
Is Linear the best setting to use as a body camera as people will be stood fairly close to you??? 1080p 60fps in Linear mode??
Not necessarily - the closer they stay - the wider the lens should be
Cool Bro, thanks for the help setting up my HERO 11, Namaste, Blain in Japan🇯🇵
I used Gopro Hero 9 thanks for the tips :)

Hi Dennis, thank you very much for your feedback - I will think about it!

No, I think that's not possible
Click on the re-arrange on top right corner of the presets window and click +, you should be able to add new presets :)
Dude I am missing the hyper view mode in my go pro 11 😏
Nice video my friend. I received the gopro 11 today and the FPS are 24,30,60,120. I live in Europe (PAL System). How can I change them to 25,50,100??
Settings/General/AntiFlickering - 50HZ

You live in the PAL-Region - if you want to use frame rates like 30 or 60 fps set 60 HZ under General/AntiFlicker

Hi Federico, yes in Alto Adige. No it's not possible to set the shutter manually - only EV-Comp.

@@federicovalmassoni3827 No - there are only very long exposure times available >2s

I always shoot at 60 frames per second, 30 frames and below make the video quality worse, especially if you watch on TV
60fps
