look how crisp those edges are! never in my life did I think I'd be so mesmerised at car wraps. didn't even know it was a thing. thanks YT for suggesting it 😏
I actually LOVE this Rose Gold!! I would've never thought I would, until I recently saw a video on Facebook of a Big Diesel truck that was done in Rose Gold Wrap and it Looked Pretty Damn Amazing!! I only Wish I could afford to have this done to my Tahoe! I would love the Rose Gold!💖
It's important to 'understand' the material and to use its 'behavior' while applying it. The result looks great - especially in case of a metallized film. Very well taught and impressive skillz! #thumbsUp
Hey Christian, I just wanted to thank you for your in-depth details of your wrapping techniques. I’ve started wrapping my first car...an 05 Scion XB, and although it doesn’t look anywhere as good as your vehicles, it’s not coming out too bad...but it sure is nice to refer back to your videos to see what I’m doing wrong or how I can do it better. Thanks again! Steve
That was good. It's nice to see someone showing workflow rather than just the "nice" parts. I unfortunately never got to wrap chrome. But you made that look as easy as regular wrap (for me that's Avery lol) you make me wanna get back into it lol
This looks super fun, I can't imagine it to be easy, Bit to me it looks easy because all I do is work on cars. never tell yourself something is difficult because the universe will demonstrate the task as difficult. You do amazing work, Dude. Subbed.
Nice work! I cannot even get a protective film on my phone's display without bubbles... What I'm wondering about is, whats the life expectancy of that stuff? Usually plastic doesn't like strong sunshine, frost and such things.
Pete Beatminister It all depends. Get a good 3M wrap, do a good job like this guy, and wash it correctly and it should last the life of an average car.
Any way to get a video on doing a stepside pick up? I've got a 94 k1500 regular cab stepside I want to try wrapping I'm just not sure how I'd do the wheel wells the steps and how much film I'd need for the whole thing
I always felt like all this chrome on luxury cars was way over the top...but my god this rose gold is gorgeous! I'd definitely do it and screw the stereotypes! I'm also stunned at your technique. I can barely stick a laptop one without messing it up. Curious how long this lasts tho.
Seriously... best explained step by step tutorial out there... Mad props to you. I've been considering doing a black Chrome wrap on my M5 Bmw, and after seeing your tutorials I'm all in... question tho about maintenance. I live in LA , warm weather , mostly sunny year round. what's the best tips to keeping it looking great for as long as a wrap's lifetime.... scratch tips. . any way to prevent swirls..etc? power washing vs sponge?
+Luis F. B if you're concerned about it looking great for a long period you can always have the wrap ceramic or glass coated. We only ever recommend hand washing chrome and we use Meguires quick spray wax between washes to help keep a layer between the dirt and vinyl for easier cleaning wash to wash
Great job! Can you connect two pieces without seams? I want to put this at the top of my class c RV and it's over 85 inches wide so I may need to connect it to another one?
I love it!!!! Very good Job!!! Don t you want to visit me in Germany? My Phaeton said to me... you are my man!!! I ve been looking for you... All my Life !! 😄 Need a new color!
I bought a chrome /orange wrap to put to cover the wind shield on my motorcycle. The shield is pretty much for looks so I dont need to worry about visibility. Spent 2 hours and failed. It wasnt very pliable. Then I saw you removed a protective film from your chrome. Was so excited, thought I found out why I failed and was even more happy because the chrome had scratches all over it. So I figured it was just on the protective layer. Got home, went look at the chrome vinyl. No protective sheet. I'm guessing the product is just garbage. Damn. Thanks for the video.
question ck how do you layer different colors I know you can lay wrap on top of each other but how can you do it without adding different thicknesses along the body of the car
Absolutely fantastic job! That one panel had a such shitload of challenging areas that most people would just fucking give up. And understandably so. But you? You made it your bitch! In chrome, no less! You're hired, my friend! Great Job!
do you post heat your edges after you have them laid down? like the door edge of the fender, the wheel well part of fender, etc? Im having trouble keeping those edges down over time.
+David Ko yes, all edges are post heated either before trimming or after. With chrome we don't need the post heat temperature to be as high as a standard film since there is less stretch on the chrome and we are likely to damage it if the post heat is too hot. If you find you edges are pulling back, try to relax them before trimming away the excess
+CK Wraps It's really amazing how you wrap that panel with 3 different angles without a heat gun. I've seen some pros on TH-cam using a heat gun to wrap a chrome and conform it. thumbs up & subscribed.
Nice job. I've 35 yes in auto body and paint. Was a bit worried about blasting with compressed air at the beginning, usually causes dust to fly everywhere. Would a tackcloth work as well?

So satisfying to watch. Love it when people can explain things without too much excess.

+Miss Defiance a good installation should last several years on most vehicles. It can last much longer or shorter depending on how it's cared for

Ive never seen an actual wrap, but I feel Ive been educated in some sort of wrapping art. Good work nevertheless.

A la paleta tiene algún adhesivo especial para que no rayes el vinil ? Quisiera saber qué material usaste para no dejar rayas con la espátula o paleta

Ide. like to view this sort of professionalism everyday!
Does the wrap block parking sensors?
Did I just watch Thor wrap a fender !??? 😜 love rose gold
Amazing! Great Patience and a lot of talent. :)
Yup I think I'll just leave that up to the professionals I would have messed that up 100 plus times
should we use a adhesive on the inside of the fender/wheel well?
Good job, with the wrap and your video.

What is the best temperature to work with most wrap? I think I have had problems when the air or surface temp is too high.
Absolutely fantastic job! That one panel had a such shitload of challenging areas that most people would just fucking give up. And understandably so. But you? You made it your bitch! In chrome, no less! You're hired, my friend! Great Job!
Very good job, looks great.
Excellent job by the way how much vinyl is needed to do a 2001 bmw M5 in that color , thanks
Hi CK wraps
Thanks a lot for all of the helpful tips.. Just curious how you determine if you need to use 2 pcs or a single piece to wrap something
What is tac producer? Do u use it on all wraps?
Will this work on a truck that has been primered?

Awesome Job. Homeboy. !!
