I’ve tried Shoei, AGV, Scorpion, and Nolan, but nothing tops Arai for comfort. I’ve made the mistake of not buying Arai helmets before and always regretted my decision. Think I’ll stick with Arai for life now.
After I have seen some videos about mentality of Arai, I was like - ok I want to support them, and get pretty good helmet. Unfortunately price is really high. But, i was lucky, I managed to get RX-7V Evo in a sale last Saturday, for ~670€. It's in a color combination which wasn't very popular, but it's not horrible. Looking forward on time when I test it on track.
They are half the price in Japan makes it very intriguing to buy if you have a chance to visit. It’s around $600 cad ($450 euro?) I think I might pick one up during a long layover.
Some racers use carbon fibre, yes, but many still prefer the stronger resin-structured helmets. Arai also produces carbon versions of the RX7V, which are equally available to pro racers and casual riders.

That's awesome - I feel exactly the same. Team Arai for life! - John
I got an Astro Spencer rep when Arai first came to the UK in 84, I've never worn any other make since, I'm made up with my new RX7 Evo.
Can you tell me what came in the box? Just bought one from offical seller but seeme to be a returns.
A pinlock, manual, dustbag
How do you like the color?
Love the colour, historically, I've always preferred a matte/satin finish, but this time I'm quite pleased with the metallic diamond black finish.
Just got a new one of these from Helmet City for £249.99 delivered!
£540 quid off 😮 bargain of the year 🎉
This helmet is good for BMW C400GT urban use

Sounds like you got lucky! We think they're well worth the money, especially after having tested other brands at varying prices.

£461 is a really good price for this helmet.
Absolutely right. Especially when you consider the build quality and ethos behind the company.
I like it
Professional racers wear fully carbon fiber helmets, don’t they?
