Nice flying, what do you use for filming, I mainly fly alone so I have to strap my phone to a baseball cap....it's not great

Almost exactly that actually! But it's a strap style head mount instead of a hat. I found the hat didn't work well for me because the phone (and GoPro when I was using that) would move around too much. With the strap, I can kinda position it just right to get an idea of the framing if I look up, or just use my watch's camera remote to check framing.
