Well hello Becky welcome back gosh that doily over the jar brought back alot of memories haven't made any in a while used to make doilies with curved ends the only way they would stay ruffled is heavy starch or sugared water you did that with glue and water and I thought it was so cool thank you for the memories!!!God Bless you!!!❤️

I also remember fun things I did with my great grandmother. We learn so much from our elders. You look like your mom. I see her in your face. I lost my mom 29 years ago and my dad 22 years ago. I miss them so much. ❣️ I'm so glad you're back! I kept looking for your videos but couldn't find any. I just spent the afternoon watching videos and I was about to go in the kitchen and start dinner when this video popped up (2 days late). I was thrilled to see it. I don't know why I didn't see the notification since I'm subscribed and have all notifications on. I've been so busy working on patriotic projects and I've been having so much fun with them. 🇺🇸 I also watch crafters working on Christmas in July and it has me thinking that I should start since I have so many unfinished projects from last year. I love your crafts! I’ve always loved Shabby Chic. My craft room is Shabby Chic style. I’m currently working on organizing it. Been looking for storage solutions. I don’t have a lot of wall space. Supplies took over. lol So I thought some pretty storage would be great. You have great ideas for that! Today I took a thrifted basket and shoved all my Spring greenery in it to make an “arrangement”. Got that idea watching you. There were also some great ideas in this video. Loved this video! During my lifetime I've spent many hours crocheting these types of doilies, thank you for not cutting or destroying these.
Thank you so much Debra! Crocheting doilies was one of my mom’s favorite activities. I know the time and love that goes into making them. I do have some I cut up from the thrift store if they are too damaged for me to be able to repair. I love using them in projects and I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

And your other projects were amazing as well! I remember working with doilies with my grandmother. The starch type concoction to stiffen them. I also remember fun things I did with my great grandmother. We learn so much from our elders.
You look like your mom. I see her in your face. I lost my mom 29 years ago and my dad 22 years ago. I miss them so much. ❣️
I'm so glad you're back! I kept looking for your videos but couldn't find any. I just spent the afternoon watching videos and I was about to go in the kitchen and start dinner when this video popped up (2 days late). I was thrilled to see it. I don't know why I didn't see the notification since I'm subscribed and have all notifications on.
I've been so busy working on patriotic projects and I've been having so much fun with them. 🇺🇸
I also watch crafters working on Christmas in July and it has me thinking that I should start since I have so many unfinished projects from last year. I also have lots of materials for fall that I should start on. ☺️
But it's nice to stop and watch someone who is so creative and inspiring! You give us so many great ideas! Now I feel the need to get out my pearls and lace and work on a new project.

Really loved all your projects! I am an avid thrifter, but have never come across to doilies, but fortunately I crochet. You have inspired me to "shabby" a lampshade similar to the night light shade you did. TFS all your wonderful projects

I love your crafts! I’ve always loved Shabby Chic. My craft room is Shabby Chic style. I’m currently working on organizing it. Been looking for storage solutions. I don’t have a lot of wall space. Supplies took over. lol So I thought some pretty storage would be great. You have great ideas for that! Today I took a thrifted basket and shoved all my Spring greenery in it to make an “arrangement”. Got that idea watching you. There were also some great ideas in this video.
