    ~ Paint Mason jar lids, add a yarn tassel and clay butterfly, and top it off with a decoupaged hydrangea from the Graphics Fairy
    ~ Embellish scrap wood with IOD moulds frames and decoupage with floral paper napkins
    ~ Enhance details on our projects using clear wax, antiquing wax, and our own blend for pink wax
    ~ Discuss easy craft room storage and organization solutions
    Hoping I figured out how to share the printable I made!

    I’ve been using tuna tins as well. I stack three up ( they fit inside perfectly) and use them as a pretty way to keep my desktop organised. I put my paper clips in one, then my stick pins in another, etc. for the top I use the bottom of another can, add a wooden knob and that’s it. Sometimes I paint them and sometimes I decoupage thin cotton onto them. Tins like white bead tins ( sorry I don’t know what they are called in America) are even better as they are larger.

      I 100% understand about the headaches. I am going to try this doesn't hold like E 6000? I like the hold of E 6000 but I hate the way it smells. I am also looking at DIY paint Since I heard it doesn't have any smell. I have been struggling with a lot of the paint, glue and finish products. Happy Valentines my dear 💖

    I’m the same way. I have to be able to see every thing at a glance. I use clear jars and clear plastic bins and open shelves. I also use a lot of shoe hangers with the clear pockets. I don’t like looking though drawers.

    I have a background in Art and Design. Honestly, your tutorials are excellent. You are very good at showing Directions that reflect exactly what you are doing with your hands. You provide comprehension to all your projects through closeup visual shots. I enjoy your projects, as they are unique and a step above most other utube crafters. I don’t like using the word crafter to describe your context, as it is beautiful decor. However, It truly baffles me that you do not have more subscribers! Keep posting comprehensive and detail instructions to your faithful subscribers, as it is much appreciated. Job well done as always. Thank you for inspiring me and exciting me to create more often. Sincerely, Lisa from Dallas. 🥰lovely work.

      Congratulations Paula, how exciting! I hope you enjoy the Clutterbug videos; I really found them full of useful information. I did do a video last year where I cut the wood on my scroll saw. They can be made from cardboard or other stiff material too. You can find the pattern at Shabby Art Boutique Vintage Lace and Ribbon Boards. Enjoy your new crafting studio!

    Thank you for showing your organization ideas. For the lace cards, do you think you could use those sheets of foam boards? I wonder if they would be sturdy enough. Also,did you get the large size craft sticks at Hobby Lobby? I wouldn't have thought of using flower frogs...great idea!

    • @kindashabby
      @kindashabby  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Carol! You most certainly can use foam boards. I have a few that I decorated with scrapbooking paper and they are sturdy. I found the large craft sticks at Walmart. Those little flower frogs are pretty convenient for organizing lace too. I found the pattern here:

    As usual I loved everything you made. Wondering if a piece of tapestry with a little bit of stuffing could be put into the frame instead of a napkin. I’m finding no matter how I pack my clay into the clean, dusted mold, they never come out smooth. Any advice on that? I’ve had occasions where I’ve had to sand out rough spots, front and back. Thank you for all the tidbits of information and tricks to make a great item and your storage ideas were awesome!

    • @kindashabby
      @kindashabby  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think a piece of tapestry would be gorgeous, Sharon! I can occasionally experience rough spots when I’m using molds other than the Iron Orchid Designs brand. When that happens, I take a small brush dipped in water to smooth out the edges. Hope that helps!

Just loved your storage ideas too, especially the beautiful pink bowls and the box! Do you have a template for the large cards you have your lace stored on! I just love that!

      Hi Maria! Magazine files are an easy way to keep your moulds organized. They are inexpensive and can be purchased at many different stores. Here’s some from IKEA that I think are really cute. Thank you for your question!

      Hi Heather! The molds I use are purchased from My Victorian Heart. You can put your zip code in Ironorchiddesigns.com to find the retailer near you. Similar products can also be purchased from Amazon. Hobby Lobby has smaller molds, but they are mainly used for soap and cake decorating. I hope this helps!
