Great white sturgeon, dollies/bull trout, cutties, steelhead, chinook, coho, sockeye, chum, pinks, pike minnow, peamouth chub, and bullhead sculpin... xD

awesome info! Coming from Alberta, Canada, doing some camping in the Portland area early august with my family, where's a good spot for some salmon fishing? Not asking for you to give up any secrets, but just some general area. Never been there before and I have 3 kids, they would love to C&R some. Any info would be appreciated. We are used to fish in lakes with very little or no current, mostly targeting White fish, Jack, Pickerel, Perch, Burbot type of fish. So I'm sure the Salmon fight would be different. Thanks!..:D
So, you get up early, go launch your boat, take it to a nice spot on the river and use the boat to cast your line so you can fish from the bank?

I like black colors, seems to work the best.

3 hooks? So a sng rig and a wobbler/treble hook is illegal?
You can run 3 hooks. So you can run 3 trebles if you want.
How does the rock break off? What size mono goes to the dropper rock?

Lol yes actually there is. You don't want to use rounded rocks because the line comes off of them.
Hmm. I'm pretty sure you actually need to be in the boat , drop line , return to shore, to be legal in Oregon.
depends on what river and what time of the year. regulations will specify for your stretch of the river if necessary
