I been doing your Trailmax MIssion front and dunlop trailmax raid rear and very happy with it. Can whip fireroads 50-60 and gravel and sand it gets funky but it gets through. Deep sand it can work but not optimal. Central Oregon

I had a set of RallZ on my Africa Twin. The rear had 10,000 miles on it when it took a utility knife blade in the carcass. I believe it was on target to last 15,000 miles. Front tires had to be replaced after 5000 miles. I burned through two of those.
The Rallz on the front on my Africa twin, it wants to try and get a fish tail motion, from the tread blocks flexing to much on the front. Almost mimics handle bar vibration or tank slap once it gets going.
@@whiteskyflyer I haven't had that problem. I have the ATAS, which I would think, with the taller suspension, would be more susceptible. What makes you think it's tread flexing?

I’m running the xt+ up front and it’s been really good. Just recently put a rally pro on the rear since my local shop had one in stock, I don’t see it lasting very long, I’m not sure what the difference between the rally pro and xt+ is but I’ve got about 400 miles on it. I feel like it’s better on dirt than the rallz, on gravel they seem about the same to me. I’m riding a 790r
Fantastic feedback! The RallZ ability to slay the dirt with 4k of longevity is what makes it king. I am digging the Rally Pro front... The XT+ is amazing too. We will see how long the Rally Pro lasts on the front of the 1190 ;)
as for your friend who's having a hard time, please PLEASE consider taking a look at "IVC" and the related stuff .. it can and it does *save lives* and also improves quality of life. I just rocked the Motoz Rallz front & rear on a 4200 mi roundtrip from CO to BC on my BMW R1200GS. We did north part of NV BDR and the entire ID BDR along the way. The rear is a keeper. The front is not.

They are so heavy and hard they completely change the handling characteristics of the bike. I ride hard on the road 80% of the time, but i want a decent tyre for when i go off road. I like the sound of motoz rally / Mitas enduro front combo. However, Midas dont seem to make them in a 19 inch front. What front tyre do you recommend? Thank you.
Yes, the TrailMax Mission tires have that feeling... The Raid is much better. The Rallz tires on my Africa twin are excessively loud, I thought I had a failure in my helmet lining the first two weeks I put these tires on. Changed helmets to discover it was the front tire just being rowdy.

@@manybikes I am glad I have been riding motorcycles for more than a few days, and know when a bike is about to throw a curve ball. First time it got into a fish tail scenario was right at 70 mph on an on ramp in the curve it decided to act all wonky. My working theory is the tread block is getting to a temperature in which it becomes too soft and the blocks can walk around. It seems to be at certain speeds and time on the highway. Now the tread block is down below 7mm in height or so and it’s cupped a big it doesn’t act up.
Not really a comparison. The Enduro Trail Rally Pro is a tube type only tire that has a soft flexible sidewall and sticky soft flexible lugs. Less robust than the RallZ front or the Dual Venture ... but super grippy!

Yes 👍 The Dual Venture is a hair more stable on the street but in overall offroad performance the XT+ is a better performing tire. This Rally Pro is stickier and has better side bite.

Yes! The RallZ will last longer than the XT+ and it works better. I recommend you run the front and rear Mitas XT+ for a benchmark... then add the RallZ and you should FEEL a difference. A positive one. The front Motoz is reversible and once you see trailing edge wear, flip it and it will last a long long time!

Nice video, thank you. I know you're promoting them but those tank bags are the absolute worst devices ever. The r&d dept was obviously asleep at the switch on those. The buckle placement is atrocious. I found this out riding from Austin Tx to SW Florida, 1300 miles of pure inner thigh torture. I wish they would re design the buckle placement.

Better is Relative. The AX41 is my favorite tire BUT I'm not rich and can't switch tires every 1500 miles. Motoz gets me at least 4k every time. Motoz for the win.

Yeah, not a fan of the RallZ front for street use, but the RallZ rear is the KING Adv tire at the moment. I am loving this XT+ front tire.

How many miles are you getting out of the front Mitas xt in plus
3500 miles on the XT+ running it straight, not flipping it. Flipping it, I think I could easily double that.
