I got this pool during the pandemic so I could enjoy my summer. I am sharing a very comprehensive and close up look at how to set up the Bestway Hydrium 12 ft Pi pool which is actually a really big pool. So make sure you have enough level space for it. You may follow similar instructions for similar pools. If you do happen to get one, I hope you have a lot of fun with it!

Thank u for this my mom in law just bought this last ight and ur video helped alot but what were the black plug like things for that were in my box I have no clue
Hi Michelle so glad this helped! The black plug like things are stopper plugs that you can use to stop water to the pipes when you want to change or unplug pump filters etc. I have made a video for that recently as well: th-cam.com/video/enoLtLoFCIY/w-d-xo.html

Also how high should we fill to? Just under the white rim or above?
@@michellemunn7959 80% max and should not go above the white rim at all as this could cause the pool to collapse. So to be safe I would do just when the inlet and outlet valves are covered. I filled up to 75%

thanks for your video. I underestimated the leveled ground part and now I got myself with a pool that looks like a freaking boat. I'm so worried all the water will leak out because it seems the side where the water stack up is pushing little by little on the pool side and eventually it wil all collapse. BE REALLY CAREFUL WITH LEVELING : no leveling, pool is a lot closer to the ground and won't form a "perfect" circle shape.
I had the same problem. Empty it. And level the ground under it. You don't want it to dump in your yard. It's a hot mess just draining away from my home. I don't want to think of what that would do if it spilled all at one time in a yard. It could be up the foundation and make for one expensive repair.
@@franny5295 thanks for your comment. Yeah you're right I think i'll just empty it. Whatever money it will cost me, it will be a lot less than what could a accidental leak could cause + my neighbour's hate

Hi I bought this from a Walmart in Burlington, Ontario before the beginning the summer. They had a couple of them in stock not sure if they would have them now
If you have a small funnel, you can use a blow dryer to fill tube in maybe 5-10 minutes. Just stick dryer in funnel

I'm hoping this is not too old of a video and that you see my comment I have my pool set up, when I place my hand in the pool.over thw face of an intake Im not feeling any suction? The A tube is pushing out wayer into the pool though 😢
@@carolynpalano9284 I think it’s with the pump. There’s some videos on TH-cam showing how to make sure the pump works properly. You have to loosen the top etc but check them out for full instructions. I didn’t get the chance to make one

I’m missing 4 clamps. And I have loosened the Air Release knob on the filter pump, am filling the pool with water. Do I have to lock the knob before running the filter?
@@reemjavaid2699 The instructions for use and safety on your package will supersede anything I say here. But yes the pump has to fill with water and then leak a little and then you close it. For electrical safety reasons, I usually don’t run the pump when people are in the pool, only when everyone is out run it for a few hours. If you don’t have the clamps and you see water leaking maybe you can use water sealants. I have a little leak on mine but it’s not major at all so didn’t do anything about it.

Did this pool hold up well
It did for the summer but I didn’t take care of it properly. Honest opinion is that I won’t get it again here in Toronto, as there’s only like maybe 2-3 weeks of pool weather here. It’s way too much work for that. Might as well just go to a beach or a lake.

My filter isn’t turning on.
Before troubleshooting pump issues, make sure you unplug the pump for electrical safety. There could be a variety of issues for example if your pump isn’t full of water it won’t push out water well. So make sure pool water level is at the right recommended level.Second, could be you have a very clogged filter. Cleaning or replacing the filter may help. Third, make sure to check if you have any water leaks in the tubing as this will prevent the pressure drive for the water in and out. If these things do not solve the issue, then it may be a defective pump.
How much air do you put in the ring?
Until it is completely inflated, it can’t be wobbly
