I could honestly listen to James May reading the telephone directory and I know I would be gripped and it would also make me laugh. I once spent 40 minutes watching him rebuild a model train. I don't even like model trains. He's dangerously addictive. Should come with a health warning.

I just finished watching A Scandi Flick and Eurocrash on Prime the other day. I gotta say, top notch production. I loved every bit.
It's amazing really how Hammond and Clarkson live in the past more than Mr Slowly (when it comes to cars at least).

The James May reference to Ryan Reynolds is never something I thought of but throughly enjoyable
I'll give Clarkson some credit for driving his Rover off road like intended. With the right set of tires I could see it being about unstoppable in the mud/muck on his farm, just make sure you don't drive it in the woods cause it will always be about 2" too wide to fit between that tree and the other tree.

I had a Honda CB750. It had so little ground clearance you could easily scrape the stand (or whatever it was) cornering in the wet if you had a passenger. It was my only means of transport at the time, and I can remember the front brake caliper seizing up from road salt. Actually it was not so much the caliper as its pivot on the fork, as the front brake only has one piston. I can't say that I loved that bike. I got a Kawasaki 900cc after the Honda, and that bike I did love!

Y'all are so much fun to watch. I wish you guys could come to Colorado. I started Drag racing in Julesburg last year and had a 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. But it was stolen July 9 2023. I miss my car but 2 weeks ago we got a 1980 Monza 9sec car. It is totally different to drive so I am learning everything all over again. Too bad the Monza was not a street/Drag car like the Hellcat was.

There's something very James May about not roasting other cars, while supposedly roasting them.
However, the only one of the 3 cars in that GT episode still on the road (and the M5) is Clarkson's Alfa.

"Vintage aeroplane cowling" is certainly an aesthetic. Somewhat reminiscent of streamlined cars for the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Heh, my first bike was a 1976 CB750 K , I miss and love that bike. Had to leave it in the UK when I came back to the US. May James May find it somewhere in Oxfordshire.
