    Episode 2 will drop on March 29. Any guesses of what the next species will be?

    That looked like a blast. Im sure the RV smelled terrific at the end of the trip.

      The people at the RV rental place said we were banned from ever renting there again because the stench would take weeks to leave...

      Ya its kind of crazy the different places the challenge takes you. We were catching pretty big fish in a decent sized river on this one. But there are some episodes that will be hunting for 6-10 inch in tiny creeks in the middle of nowhere. Pretty fun.

    Thanks. Good fun and great scenery. As a newbie to Tenkara fishing I'd really have liked to learn something (anything!) about the gear you were fishing (rods, line and flies) and basic methods used that caught fish. This series could be sooooo instructive. Good luck (and fun!) on your "quest".

      Thanks for watching Jon! Don't worry each episode is a little different and some are definitely more instructive than others. We thought this one would be a fun way to kick off the series though catching all of those fish.

    What does it cost to do a fly in like that? So much fun! Look forward to doing something like this with friends.

      It depends on where you are going and how many people you are going with. We just basically did a drop off and pick up situation where we were there for a full day fishing. There are a few different services you can use like Rusts and Sportsmans from the float plane airport in Anchorage. Good luck!

      @@tenkararodco cool ill check it out, could you take rafts and float from a drop off to a pick up?

    What rods were playing those big trout? Did everyone use the same model of rod?

    • @tenkararodco
      @tenkararodco  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the bigger trout like that we were using the Rocky, Teton Zoom, or Sawtooth. We just took a bunch of different rods to AK so we were all using different ones.
