For me personally its big map=big things, big things=Sha dalamadur. I mean dont you wanna just see Dalamadur burst out the sand like the that worn from dune (Also crypt hydra being in the final monster for Wilds would be sooo cool considering that the crypt hydra has a Egyptian sandy vibe to it) Edit: sorry for the grammar mistakes tho :)
Imagine for Glavenus’s power clash for if you use a Greatsword, he’ll still push against it with his mouth but if you win it you get a sharpness boost from scraping against its jaw. But then again having it slash down with its tail and you get to pull a Rules of Nature would probably be more plausible and even more epic
They could have the 4 elements. Akantor fire, Ukanlos ice, there's a sand desert turtle in frontier, and also a piscine looking on like a whale. They would be dope each in its own zone in each map.
Gamoth also fits the herd idea. Imagine walking through the tundra and seing a TON of popo before finding a couple of smaller Gammoth. Then finally, you find the Matriarch Gammoth leading the herd.
It works but its ice. Actually havent seen trailers lately, but all I have seen is the sand. Obviously there will probably be a winter or ice map, then thats when gammoth deserves in. Unless its a subspecies that belongs in the sandy areas
i think juvenile gammoth could be their own small monster or mh wilds has a baby and growth system where kids can randomly spawn. This is because the interactions with popo herds from juveniles would be really cool to see, and attacking a juvenile gammoth could easily anger a lead matriarch gammoth.

If they implement White Fatalis, it will be like they did with Fatalis, as the final monster of the expansion. Since White Fatalis is lore wise THE strongest monster. Speaking of, I do hope we get more on the whole Red vs Black dragons that was started with Iceborne.

Brute Wyverns: Deviljho(Both Variants), Glavenus(Both Variants), and/or Anjanath(Both Variants). Flying Wyverns: Rathalos/Rathians(Any Variants), Tigrex(All Variants), Astalos, Espinas, and/or Akantor and Ukanlos(which btw these seem more like they should be Fanged Wyverns to me. XD). Leviathans: Lagiacrus(All Variants) and Agnaktor. Fanged Wyverns: Zinogre, Odagaron, and/or Dodogama. Snake Wyverns: There is only Najarala! XD Bird Wyverns: Malfestio. Fanged Beasts: Gammoth and Volvidon. JUST NOT RAJANG, ANY OTHER BEAST BUT THAT ONE. For me, Yama Tsukami because its so unique compared to other Elder Dragons, and Dalamadur because big map = big snek. Possibly a Safijiva as well (perhaps a more mature variant, idk how the story will work with that) Lagiacrus is also really cool (but there is no aquatic combat in MHWilds). But most of all, Qurupeco.
I’ve had this little list I made a while ago and would be happy if I got at least 1! Qurupeco, akantor, gigginox, zamtrios, tetsu, Seltas queen, Najarala, Nerscylla, malfestio, Lagi, Kecha wacha, gammoth, and agnaktor. It’s a lot but they are all creatures I just find very cool and would love to see again.
Lowkey would be cool if this game had multiple final bosses, like Akantor in the Volcano, Ukanlos in the Winterlands, And 2 brand new ones in the Water and Desert Area with hopefully Dalamadur as the true final boss.
I rather have something that genuinely inspires fear like Devil Jho did back in the classic games, Baeszelgeusse is just an annoyance at best and a stress ball at times its too ez in my opinion.

I like these monsters, but i would love to fight some monsters i haven't been able to fight yet like yama tsukami, lao shan lung, shen gaoren, king shakalaka, hypnocatrice, vespoid queen, gigginox, qurupeco or ahtal-ka. Not naming subspecies, frontiers or underwater mons.

i agree with rise getting unjust hate. had some one who complained about the grapics of rise, when seeing youtube. bought rise for him on PC, and he was schoked by how he was lied to by that tuber. rise is a great game, but i agree world is better, but rise still is a great game i can recomand to play before wilds comes out.
With how MH Wilds looks so far I wouldn’t be surprised if Dalamadur is in the game. If it isn’t part of the main story or at least an event quest I’ll uh… I’m gonna spiral into depression or something idk

I want good old deviljio to make return I know basic but I got a good reason. I started with tris demo on the wii. So I was hunting the bird that can call in other monsters and me not knowing went in for a slash and all I hear behind me is this huge guterl roar as I flip the camera around to see him. Lots of screaming later I died and stopped playing for the day. That's why I want deviljio to return.
Akantor and ukanlos will fit in mh wilds since theyre focusing more in prehistoric looking monsters and those apex predators that looks like theyve been in there way before a full ecosystem has been built around that region. Both akantor and ukanlos seems like the origins of wyverns as to how fatalis is the origin of elder dragons
i hope they'll add mizutsune in. i love that monster...so graceful and beautyful and the best thing is: you wont return all smelly and sweaty from the mission...a free bath is included in this mission xD
We do have similar lists but sadly I don't include Glavenus and Malzeno, its either Agnaktor, Giginox, Shen Gaoren or maybe Nef Garmat ( Anubis Elder Dragon from Explore)
Here are my top 10 monsters I wanted. 1. Najalala or new Snake wyvern 2. The Crabs/new Crab 3. Tetsucabra/more amphibians 4. Seltas/new non-Spider insectoid monsters 5. New Fang Beast/Mammalian monsters (something like megasloth would be cool) 6. Odogaron (my personal favorite mhw monster) 7. Dalamadur 8. Agnaktor 9. If Gammoth was in wild I want Tigrex in wild to for turf war 10. Anti-Wyvern Weapon. A mythical being that is only mentioned briefly in the old lore but it would be cool if they were real. Imagine fighting an abomination created by humans instead of typical wyvern monsters. It would make a good final boss.
I would like all of the fated four in the game and for each of them to have a turf war against one another. But if I had to choose one monster, Goss Harag cause a bear making and using weapons is cool to me.
I feel like lagi have huge chanse to be in wilds, mostly because well sckeleton of leviatans is fixed and in prototype od mh world videos lagi was swiming in shallow waters in ancient forest and quess wgat is scarlet forest. Makes me think we can get even subspecies of lagi as scarelt lagiacrus or somethink

If Lagiacrus returns, expect the fight to be 100% land-based. Underwater combat will be absent in this new opus confirmed by the developers themselves.
Personally I’m anxious about returning monsters. All the community talks about is returning monsters but new ones don’t get much love nor hype, thankfully Rey Dau is changing that but my point still stands.
I just want Odogaron back. He's my favorite monster, and I think they kinda dropped the ball by not having him in Rise. So many monsters in Rise are based off Yokai and the like and Odogaron is based off of Kamaitachi a.k.a. the sickle weasel. Everything about Ebony Odogaron at least would've fit in Rise. So im bothered that my favorite monster has not only been in only one game, but also didn't go into the game where he would've fit. I know we got Lunagaron, and its cool but its not the same, I want the Kamaitachi not a werewolf in the Japanese themed game.
I’d love to see Lagiacrus return, but not without water combat. Lagiacrus in 3rd gen was an iconic experience. Behaving more like a bruiser/tank, only occasionally wielding powerful lightning blasts against you. Back then, it felt like a powerful creature whose size was not without substance, and you really saw it shine when it fought you underwater. Moreover, being a lord of the seas and a monster adapted to water is key to its nature, and that sense of nature is one of the special things about this game to me. If you want out of water Lagi, bring Ivory Lagi back, but better yet just don’t do it. The Lagiacrus trio is best represented with a sea to rule Without water, the Generations version of Lagi felt more like a giant, short-circuiting outlet than a proper monster, and I’d hate to see that be the outcome in Wilds because they chose to bring it back for the fans without consideration for what made it special
Glavenus is nice but um hellblade... hell no. "what if we did that thing we did to teostra in gen 4 but with glavenus?" "Fuck it, that'll do! We got a deadline boys." The onluy issue with gammoth, as the devs stated repeatedly, is her size in relation to map zones. Easiest fix is just have a few bigger zones and wider pathways for them. The only fated 4 member that did not return in the 5th gen has to return in Wilds for the 6th gen. Yeah Wilds is not in World's hilariously awful engine, They failed to get something Insomniac got working on a PS2 so 2 whole console generations earlier and a year before MH1 released in 2003. To add insult to injury, said game took as long to make, as a whole, as it took capcom to fix zorah when Insomniac had not only the same mechanic working but also beat Mario Galaxy to it's main gimmick by 4 years. While yes, one that Rise used and couldn't get this to work on but it's also many years later so they got it to work. A sand whale would be fun, the sand ships do imply it rather heavily. Monoblos has to happen, it's been too long. My hope is that they give him the lunastra treatment of redesigning his fight entirely so he's less like diablos. Let him use his wings so he can mix flight for dive bombs along with digging attacks. Heck, let him have a big combo of chaining digging/popping out and flying/divebombs with his horn. The MH4 intro is amazing, there's another reason I want gendrome but I also really want something like this cut scene to happen again. Monoblos tossing him so accurately to give him a concussion on the rock is one of the funniest intros. Tetsu would be fine but I really want zamtrios a whole lot more. Akantor was in World concept art for the recess, imagine if they made the maps in such a way that he would fit, same with ukanlos and consequently gammoth in Iceborne. That would have been great. No, don't ruin the end of the game. Give us something else that's more unique to close off the ending of master rank/its title updates. While I loved what Iceborne did to base fatalis by giving it a real dam fight for once after a decade and a half, I hate the idea of them being lazy and just having the other 2 of him to end the next couple games. Give dalamadur or gogmazios that spot instead. Let this guy come back later.
Honestly I would be so happy and hyped for literally any monster that didn't appear in 5th gen, I would even like seeing a monster that did appear in 5th gen at the price of getting it's forgotten subspecies too, like Jade Barroth or Green Narga.
The problem is dalamadur and gogmazios is dead. So there's no point in them coming back. Hell, even the rotten vale map hints at dalamadur becoming a new region because the rotten vale itself is actually his corpse

By that I mean it would need a rework because it's only major change was the double tail slam that normal narga has had for a while now. Honestly, I'd replace him with steel uragaan for a couple reasons, 1 redemption from being the most forgotten monster so they should try to make him shine more and 2 he's more unique than base uragaan becasue his element/status pairing isn't just the same a gravios.

No, the vale is just evidence that either the dalamadur you fightr is a juvenile, because they can get bigger, or that those corpses are a relative of his. There isn't just 1 individual of each of the final bosses, that's now how species work so it's not how the lore of MH works.

Whats really funny about white fatalis is that lore wise NO ONE has survived an encounter with one. Even in the old games its to be believed that your hunter dies in the confrontation. However, gameplay wise for the so called world killer dragon... hes a pushover. Its the easiest variant of fatalis. Im not joking when I say I could pass off the controller to a person whos never played the franchise and they'd beat him in 4-5 attempts. If you want a challenge then crimson fatalis is the go to.
Weird, I’ve faced White Fatalis once and spent the entire battle basically running around screaming. Crimson, on the other hand, I’ve faced casually all the time. It’s worth noting, though, this was in 4u, and crimson was introduced in High rank whereas white was only in g rank
White fatalis does not fit the map at all IMO, same with Crimson. I think one of them might arrive but definitely not. Bonus.. (havent watched yet) if Najarala AND/OR (mainly and) Nibelsnarf arent in your top 5 for anyone reading.. You missing out. They are my top two

I don’t want to see too many returning monsters but i would love to see Nergi and Gas Horaag return. They’re just too cool to not show back up.
And a lot of monsters that people want back especially in psp days are also cool, which is why they should also be back

Espinas is not the only canonized Frontier monster. Lavasioth and Hypnocatrice were Frontier monsters as well, and they became canon in Freedom Unite
Monster hunter wilds should be at least 70/30 in the base game. 70% new, 30% returning. After that add in old monsters in updates

Here are my top 10 monsters I wanted.
1. Najalala or new Snake wyvern
2. The Crabs/new Crab
3. Tetsucabra/more amphibians
4. Seltas/new non-Spider insectoid monsters
5. New Fang Beast/Mammalian monsters (something like megasloth would be cool)
6. Odogaron (my personal favorite mhw monster)
7. Dalamadur
8. Agnaktor
9. If Gammoth was in wild I want Tigrex in wild to for turf war
10. Anti-Wyvern Weapon. A mythical being that is only mentioned briefly in the old lore but it would be cool if they were real. Imagine fighting an abomination created by humans instead of typical wyvern monsters. It would make a good final boss.

I feel like lagi have huge chanse to be in wilds, mostly because well sckeleton of leviatans is fixed and in prototype od mh world videos lagi was swiming in shallow waters in ancient forest and quess wgat is scarlet forest. Makes me think we can get even subspecies of lagi as scarelt lagiacrus or somethink

If Lagiacrus returns, expect the fight to be 100% land-based. Underwater combat will be absent in this new opus confirmed by the developers themselves.
Personally I’m anxious about returning monsters. All the community talks about is returning monsters but new ones don’t get much love nor hype, thankfully Rey Dau is changing that but my point still stands.

I just want Odogaron back. He's my favorite monster, and I think they kinda dropped the ball by not having him in Rise. So many monsters in Rise are based off Yokai and the like and Odogaron is based off of Kamaitachi a.k.a. the sickle weasel. Everything about Ebony Odogaron at least would've fit in Rise. So im bothered that my favorite monster has not only been in only one game, but also didn't go into the game where he would've fit. I know we got Lunagaron, and its cool but its not the same, I want the Kamaitachi not a werewolf in the Japanese themed game.
I’d love to see Lagiacrus return, but not without water combat. Lagiacrus in 3rd gen was an iconic experience. Behaving more like a bruiser/tank, only occasionally wielding powerful lightning blasts against you. Back then, it felt like a powerful creature whose size was not without substance, and you really saw it shine when it fought you underwater. Moreover, being a lord of the seas and a monster adapted to water is key to its nature, and that sense of nature is one of the special things about this game to me. If you want out of water Lagi, bring Ivory Lagi back, but better yet just don’t do it. The Lagiacrus trio is best represented with a sea to rule
Without water, the Generations version of Lagi felt more like a giant, short-circuiting outlet than a proper monster, and I’d hate to see that be the outcome in Wilds because they chose to bring it back for the fans without consideration for what made it special

Glavenus is nice but um hellblade... hell no. "what if we did that thing we did to teostra in gen 4 but with glavenus?" "Fuck it, that'll do! We got a deadline boys."
The onluy issue with gammoth, as the devs stated repeatedly, is her size in relation to map zones. Easiest fix is just have a few bigger zones and wider pathways for them. The only fated 4 member that did not return in the 5th gen has to return in Wilds for the 6th gen.
Yeah Wilds is not in World's hilariously awful engine, They failed to get something Insomniac got working on a PS2 so 2 whole console generations earlier and a year before MH1 released in 2003. To add insult to injury, said game took as long to make, as a whole, as it took capcom to fix zorah when Insomniac had not only the same mechanic working but also beat Mario Galaxy to it's main gimmick by 4 years. While yes, one that Rise used and couldn't get this to work on but it's also many years later so they got it to work.
A sand whale would be fun, the sand ships do imply it rather heavily.
Monoblos has to happen, it's been too long. My hope is that they give him the lunastra treatment of redesigning his fight entirely so he's less like diablos. Let him use his wings so he can mix flight for dive bombs along with digging attacks. Heck, let him have a big combo of chaining digging/popping out and flying/divebombs with his horn. The MH4 intro is amazing, there's another reason I want gendrome but I also really want something like this cut scene to happen again. Monoblos tossing him so accurately to give him a concussion on the rock is one of the funniest intros.
Tetsu would be fine but I really want zamtrios a whole lot more.
Akantor was in World concept art for the recess, imagine if they made the maps in such a way that he would fit, same with ukanlos and consequently gammoth in Iceborne. That would have been great.
No, don't ruin the end of the game. Give us something else that's more unique to close off the ending of master rank/its title updates. While I loved what Iceborne did to base fatalis by giving it a real dam fight for once after a decade and a half, I hate the idea of them being lazy and just having the other 2 of him to end the next couple games. Give dalamadur or gogmazios that spot instead. Let this guy come back later.
Honestly I would be so happy and hyped for literally any monster that didn't appear in 5th gen, I would even like seeing a monster that did appear in 5th gen at the price of getting it's forgotten subspecies too, like Jade Barroth or Green Narga.
The problem is dalamadur and gogmazios is dead. So there's no point in them coming back. Hell, even the rotten vale map hints at dalamadur becoming a new region because the rotten vale itself is actually his corpse
@@linfa_mh Agreed, well mostly, green narga is a bit pointless. By that I mean it would need a rework because it's only major change was the double tail slam that normal narga has had for a while now. Honestly, I'd replace him with steel uragaan for a couple reasons, 1 redemption from being the most forgotten monster so they should try to make him shine more and 2 he's more unique than base uragaan becasue his element/status pairing isn't just the same a gravios.
@@theadmiral4157 Dead, what are you talking about? Every monster in the series is a species, it's just that some of them are rarer than others. No, the vale is just evidence that either the dalamadur you fightr is a juvenile, because they can get bigger, or that those corpses are a relative of his. There isn't just 1 individual of each of the final bosses, that's now how species work so it's not how the lore of MH works.

Whats really funny about white fatalis is that lore wise NO ONE has survived an encounter with one. Even in the old games its to be believed that your hunter dies in the confrontation.
However, gameplay wise for the so called world killer dragon... hes a pushover. Its the easiest variant of fatalis. Im not joking when I say I could pass off the controller to a person whos never played the franchise and they'd beat him in 4-5 attempts.
If you want a challenge then crimson fatalis is the go to.
Weird, I’ve faced White Fatalis once and spent the entire battle basically running around screaming. Crimson, on the other hand, I’ve faced casually all the time. It’s worth noting, though, this was in 4u, and crimson was introduced in High rank whereas white was only in g rank
White fatalis does not fit the map at all IMO, same with Crimson.
I think one of them might arrive but definitely not.
