What happens after 10 years of usage? In America, they throw most of the dead EVs to the junkyard or sell it for metal. In LKR this thing is cost around 20 Million. We already know there is no resale value for these even in America. In that case surely there is no way to build EV market for Sri Lanka. It's a waste of currency dude.
This is the era of New energy vehicles.We should convert in to new technologies like this. Traditional framed people always see negatives.But this is the technology which modern developed world embrace. Don't hesitate to go NEVs.❤

Electric වාහනේක උපරිම ප්රයෝජනේ ගන්න පුළුවන් පලවෙනි Owner ට විතරයි එකත් පොඩි KM ගානක් යනතුරු. Battery capacity අඩු වීමත් එක්ක වාහනේ වටිනාකම Gasoline car එකකට සාපේක්ෂව ඉතා ඉක්මනින් අඩු වෙනවා. නඩත්තු වශයෙන් ගත්තාම මුලිකව Engine oil වල පිරිවැය විතරයි මේවගේ ඉතුරු කරගන්න පුළුවන් පොඩි ගානක් ඒ ඇරුනම Coolant, Gear oil, Washer fluid, Brake fluid, Brake pads වගේ දේවල් මෙවගේත් මාරු කරන්න වෙනවා. මේවගේ නඩත්තු නැ කියල කවුරු හරි කියනවාම් පිස්සෙක් තමයි. Maintenance + Battery cost එකත් එක්ක බැලුවම Gasoline වාහනේකට යන එක තමයි පොකට් එකට ලාබ. පවිච්චියේ හැටියට පමණයි තෙල් වියදමත්.

ඔය Range කතාව ලංකාවේ පාරවල් වලට valid නැ bro. එයාලා ඒ කියන්නේ එයාලගේ රටවල් වල පාරවල් වල හයිවේ වල ඕක ටෙස්ට් කරපු දුර. නමුත් මෙහෙ පාරවල් වල තත්වයයි, traffic වල තත්වයි, උෂ්නත්වයයි ගත්තාම advertised කරපු range එක කොහොමත් යන්න බැ. battery එකේ cycle 2000 නම් තියෙන්නේ මේ උෂ්ණත්වයේ හැටියට අපිට එක කොහොමත් සැහෙන කාලයක් පාවිච්චි කරන්න බැ එන්න එන්නම range එක අඩුවෙනවා cycle ඉවර වෙද්දී.
සාමාන්යයෙන් battery එක අඩු වෙන්නේ drain වෙන්නේ cold weather එකකදී එතනින් එහාට මම කියන්න යන්නේ නෑ
@@gayanranaweera3719 මන් කිවේ ලංකාවේ තත්වේ නැතුව cold weather එකක් ගැන නෙමෙයි. ඔයා ඔය කියන cold weather එක බලපාන්නේ හිම වැටෙන රටවලට. මන් කිවේ lithium වල උනත් working temp එක තියෙන්නේ 15-35 °C අතර. ලංකාව සමකය ආසන්න රටක් නිසා කොහොමත් 35 °C සීමාව ඉක්මවා යනවා. එතකොට battery එකේ cycles ඉක්මනින් අඩු වෙනවා Reducing cycles > Reducing max charging capacity = Reducing range & lifespan එහෙම නැතුව drain මගුලක් ගැන නෙමෙයි. ඔය කතාව EV විතරක් නෙමෙයි ලංකාවේ Hybrid පදින කෙනෙක් උනත් දන්න දෙයක්.
@@gayanranaweera3719 Both cold & hot weather causes to reduction in battery health. Lithium-ion has lesser self discharge when compared to other batteries which means no parasitic drain. But in extremely cold or hot weather it will exceed its limits. Sometimes it may be a fire or explosion even in tesla. That's why manufacturers not recommend EVs to both cold and hot regions.

@@MRJInspire believe me, you can go round trip from Colombo to nuwara eliya in one charge. car is charging while you are driving from nuwara eliya to colombo. when i stayed in nuwara eliya, in the night i recharged my car as it should be charged to come back home. but when i reached home, only 30-40 Km power was used. same if you go round trip to kandy ( up country) . car is charging while you are coming back.
