In this video, we are going to compare Honda CR-V and Peugeot 5008. Which are best selling 7 seaters in Sri Lanka nowadays. Here we are comparing 2018 manufactured vehicle models.
Though Honda and Peugeot are respectively Japanese and European Manufactured automobiles, we thought of comparing these two vehicles on the Sri Lankan context. Because of those two vehicles in the same range.

Crv has the best fuel consumption for a SUV of this size. City 10.5 to 11.5 out station 12 to 14 or more.. Highway 17. Combined cycle 12 km/l.

If you want a 7 seater with all the options available on 5008 go for CRV UK models. UK models have more options than 5008..! CRV 1.5L Turbo is 190bhp vs 5008 1.6L is 180bhp.!

U have not select the correct Honda CRV to compare. The CRV U selected in made in Taiwan for Europe & Australia. ( not made in japan )
The CRV made in Japan in 2018 ( 1.5 L turbo engine ) is having all the features like
Power tailgate, electrfied both the front seats, radar collision sensors, AWD, fuel economy selection, paddle shifter, cruse control, auto head lamps and wiper etc,.
Not availble compareing with 5008 are hood ac for 6th & 7th seats, running turning lamps and head lamps sync with steering i suppose.

Crv 2018 model is the most popular SUV currently. It has 190 HP 4 cylinder turbo engine with excellent fuel economy 12km/l combined cycle. It has a good second hand value unlike Peugeot no running repairs or faults sofar.

Crv has an oil dilution issue in usa and china regarding its 1.5 turbo engine. Fuel is mixing with oil and diluting it and a recall was made. Hope local models dont suffer from it. Toyota RAV 4 is more reliable than both of them.
No such problem in vehicles in sri lanka. Rav 4 wont get 1.5 turbo engines. It comes with hybrid version which is expensive. Crv is rated higher than rav4 in vehicle comparisons.
