Zortrax M200 Extruder not heating

Symptom: No error message, when executing the “heat extruder” command the machine just jumps right to “done heating”; turns out the thermocouple amplifier AD8495ARMZ on the PCB near the extruder has failed.
By sending signal voltage over the appropriate pins on the extruder interface cable bypassing the chip, we fool the machine into sensing, demonstrating the chip has failed.
