- If you buy a new AMG here in the UK you get a free one-on-one AMG driving tuition on the test circuit at Mercedes World. Here are 5 amazing things I learned about the C43 AMG during this day!
This video features the C43 AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes C Class. My car is the 2019 C43 AMG Saloon or the C43 AMG Sedan for those across the pound :)
The C43 gives you that great AMG sound from the AMG performance and also the luxury of a Mercedes Benz
This is the W205 Class. The 2019 C43 AMG
If you like this car also check out some of the other great Mercedes AMG models:
A35 AMG
CLA45 AMG
C63 AMG
E63S AMG
Make sure to spec the AMG performance exhaust!

I thought the MBW track training was a great added bonus when I purchased my C43 Coupe, it gives you so much confidence in the car when you may never be in some of these situations
I agree Bill, I found it really useful and a great way to showcase the cars abilities. Really good fun too. I highly recommend it for any new owners.
How much does this training cost?
@@Frankie5Angels150 it came free when I purchased the car, you can buy it as a day out thing, but I don’t know how much it would be
Taking mine to Blyton Park soon, should be fun
Dreamily Informational, well done
Hi where did you get those wheels from? So far I know the original C63 wheels don’t fit regarding the ET and J size..
You said brakes were great.. But did you do enough track time to get any brake fade? Aftermarket pads or fluid?
How did you turn of the ESP? In Sport Handling Mode I was told and experienced it is still active. However a slide drift was only possible if you heavily steer in the corner and kick down the throttle (which nobody really should do in the public road).
Hi Mate,
Theres 3 settings. 1 is fully on, 2 is sport handing mode (not to be confused with sport mode) and 3 is fully off. To access 3 fully off you have to press and hold down on the traction control button. Hope this helps!
@@ABAUTOAMG didn't knew that, will test it in a safe place. Thank you mate for the reply.
Did they demonstrate the BAS (Brake Assist System)? Years ago (1999 C230 Kompressor), I triggered the BAS and it was..., well..., interesting and impressive.
We didn’t test the self braking system but we did do some high speed emergency stops and the car performed incredibly well at stopping without any sliding etc.
Footage of C63s, confusing! S205 FL C43 Estate owner myself!
Sorry for the the confusion Van, I really wanted to include some slick transitions and only have broll of the c63 currently on the track. Note to self to get more footage with my 43!
Different subject.. I’ve just bought a c43 coupe 2019 and I can’t stop thinking the centre screen is offset to the left for left hand drive cars. Has any one else thought this. My daily is a 530e and the screen is perfectly poised in my viewing direction.
I have an F10 M5 and am seriously considering swapping for an estate version of these. Never owned Mercedes before ..
They are great cars. If your looking in the used market try and get one with premium plus (a big pack of good optional extras) and make sure it has the optional the AMG performance exhaust.
@@ABAUTOAMG Brilliant thank you. Looking at nearly new. The performance exhaust isn't standard I take it?
@@kiftikhar No problem! It's an optional extra on the saloon and estate and standard on the coupe. It's easy to check if the car has it there will be exhaust button in the centre console. If theres no button has the standard exhaust.
@@ABAUTOAMG thank you. All the ones I've shortlisted so far have the button, but it's only mentioned in two of the adverts. Look forward to test driving one once lockdown / Tiers is over... Prob in 2021
@@khurramiftikhar1414 No problem that all sounds good. I hope it all goes well!
Hey im just wondering how much power does the c43 puts in the rear and front wheels, i have one and i thought it was 50/50 but i saw somewhere that it was 70/30...
Hi Mate, its 70 at back and 30 at the front :)
Yup, it is split 31 front 69 rear. This is why you're suppose to have your tire pressure a bit lower in the rear than the front as well, it helps provide a tad more grip upon full acceleration from a low speed or aggressive cornering.
@@BN99239 thanks for the info!

The instructor must be that guy with a fake eye from the movie last action hero....
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥How’s that EVM Bro?
Hi mate. Fitted it over the weekend. First proper test today, definitely more grunty at low RPMs, Going to see how it goes this week. Got some good tests planned for filming with it.
@@ABAUTOAMG Definitely wakes up most notably 1st gear. And for long drives even comfort mode 9th gear rumbles.
Yeah! Looking forward to testing it more. It was a nice rumble at low rpm in comfort and I quite liked the low RPM growl in the high gears cruising. Cant wait to do some proper abauto tests
