I talk about different (9 mm) pipe filters and show you which ones I highly recommend and why.
Please notice: smoking is as unhealthy as drinking, eating, thinking the wrong thoughts. You`re definitely going to die - one day...

Very informative Jean. Thank YOU for sharing this information. 👊💥👍JB
The pleasure is mine! 😉
Very informative video. However, my favorite part, of course, was the ending😀 I think I’m going to give your favorite style of filters a try. Have a fantastic weekend brother!!!
Thank`s for watching, beauty! ;0)))
Jean Panzer I just bought some filters with charcoal to try for the first time. I’m surprised there aren’t the amount of choices for 6mm filters as there are for 9mm.
@@herferville3633 Yes, unfortunately there are no charcoal filters with 6 mm. I don`t get it why, it can`t be a technical problem.
what a mighty beard!
Good info, just what I was looking for!
I am always pleased to help, Sir! 😉👍🏻 please feel free to contact me anytime if you have some questions.
Excellemt vid Jean. Thanks a lot.

Thank's, my dear brother. I think you won't like them yet. 😁
Jean Panzer
I definitely have to give them a fair chance.
Thanks Jean nice video

Thank you and thank's for watching, my friend! Take care! 😎👍🏻
awesome video my friend, cheers!
Thank you! And almost without any 💩 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful video, I have a couple of filtered pipes and some are 6mm some are 9mm. I have always wondered about others opinions of all the different types and their effects on the pipe experience. I have tried the balsa wood, medico paper and paper w/charcoal. I have not tried the meerschaum filters those seem interesting. I have never seen the plastic gel filters, wow. After looking them up I found 3mm paper filters from Denicotea as well. Thank you for this video. 👍
You`re welcome, Dave, thank`s for watching!
Hello jean i have some pipes that call for filters and i have pipes that dont use filters but there is a diffrence between the two i personally like the the filters. Thanks for this great review on filters 😃😃😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍👍 best regards Peter the Smooooove Piper.
Thank you, my dear friend! Sometimes I also like smoking without filter, but some tobaccos are just better with filter. 😁 Stay well and God bless you, my dear briar brother! 😊
I am a returning pipe smoker after many years, and after a week or two of experimenting, I prefer a 9mm paper/charcoal filter for two reasons: 1) Less tongue bite and 2) moisture reduction in the pipe. Thanks!
Oh and I love the Dr. Perl filters, is it that difficult to remember blue -> stem? :-)
Yes, I agree, the 9 mm charcoal filters are the best. 😉👍🏻 Well, when I started pipe smoking with 19 I remember a few times where I didn`t remember how to handle that Dr. Pearl filter. Meanwhile I could do it, but I just don`t want to. I prefer other filters. 😊 Thank`s for watching and commenting! 👍🏻
@@JeanPanzer Haha no worries mate. Yeah we have so many habits that stick with us... as long as we enjoy ourselves. Thanks buddy!
I went through a similar process over the years. The worst charcoal filters I tried were Peterson's (more resistance). My personal favorite remains the Dr. Perl but since you favor the Aylesbury, give the Butz-Choquin 9mm filters a try, I think you'll like them quite a bit as well.
Thank's for the tip, 😊👍🏻 I'll try these Butz filters, haven't tried them yet.
Well done Jean🍭🐓👶
Thank's, Mel. I appreciate that! 😊👍🏻
I’m a big fan of filters Jean and like you I favour the paper with charcoal type. I wonder why filters are more popular in Europe than in America ? It is harder to find Meerschaum pipes that take filters than briars.
Thank's for watching, John. Well, I won't say Europe, but Germany definitely is the filter country. There was a lot of commercial activity in the 60s and 70s and I think that's why almost every pipe is with filter - meerschaum pipes, too. If you'd like to have one with filter, I'll get you one! 😊👍🏻 Have a blessed day, my dear friend!
Thanks for sharing. There's also 9mm filters with meerschaum inside made by white elephant company.
😉
Yes, true. Thank's for adding that. 😉👍🏻
savinelli are also good, even if they fit very tight the air flow remains very good
Thank`s for this info, I`ll have to try them once again then. ;0)))
Never realized there was so many kinds. I personally don't like the resistance of filters.
Yes, some have one, some not. 😉 Take care, my friend!
I have tried many times to smoke with a 9mm filter. It do restricts the draw somewhat, but it is not too bad. I use it sometimes because my tongue gets a bit soar after smoking a bowl. The filters elliminates that.
I know you still can get cancer and all that with a filter, but it still must be better for the mouth with a filter? It do filters out some of the bad stuff?
How much the draw gets restricted, depends on the filter. Some filters nearly doesn`t restrict the draw at all. I also use filters because of that soar feeling on the tongue or in the mouth. Don`t listen to stupid people who tell you that you will get cancer from pipe smoking! That`s not true. Do what feels good for you and keep your thoughts positive. 😉👍🏻
❤❤❤
😊
Lieben ist todlich! Lol!
"Leben" (= life), not "Liebe" (= love). But...🤔 I think you're right, my friend, love also is/can be deadly... 🤣🤣🤣 Have a great one, Jeff! 👍🏻
Filter? I want less between me and my burning tobacco. To a certain extent. 😂🔥
😆 then you can only smoke cigars! 🤣🤣
The most common 9mm in use is probably the Glock. Personally, I prefer S&W. ;-)
Thank`s Howard!
