Love the review. Pretty knowledgeable and I appreciate the perspective of a younger person on a car that many may view as a car for older demographics. Spoken like a car enthusiast. Subbed!

Good review, but, operating the CUE system has nothing to do with using the edge of your finger.
The chrome bezels on the CUE console are meant to guide your finger, they do not transmit input.
The system works flawlessly if you place your finger ABOVE the chrome bezels, as opposed to touching the bezel directly.
Aside from that, I agree, the handling and suspension of this car are very good.

Very nice car enthusiast drive review second half of video. Of all the very many youtube videos on the XTS, this one was the most informative in that respect, really highlighting the car's potential. Thanks!

If you touch the silver trim under the cooled seats button, it'll reveal a hidden compartment to wirelessly charge your phone.

+Daniel Gamboa Urosa I noticed the compartment, but didn't realize it had wireless charging. Pretty cool

That seems to be his personal preference...hence why he said 6:04 "...but that's not what this car is about"

Victor Candelario.05 he also didn’t show the storage behind the climate control or bottom left of steering wheel. Not to mention he wasn’t even pressing the right part of the climate control helps if you actually hit the sensor instead of the Crome accent...before you critique it and say its finicky also the volume is a slide control not a poke

Why don't you hold a fan in front of your microphone, that's how it sounds....smh

You’re supposed to swipe across the volume control to increase or decrease the volume; same as the climate fan control. Second thought maybe someone in the rental Cadillac you’re driving broke the glove box - I own 43 of these for a livery business offering airport transportation and chauffeuring clients in the Kansas City area - never had a glovebox **that wasn’t overloaded by someone** break. If you’re going to do vehicle reviews - be serious about it. PS the suspension has nothin to do with the horsepower. Not hard to bolt a thousand pony’s under a hood , putting that down to the pavement is another issue. This is not a “kid car” & why you never buy a rental vehicle of any kind. Cheers.

Since you are so experienced with this vehicle as a major business owner..I hope you don't mind a few questions. I'm currently thinking about getting one due to needing a large used luxury sedan with the latest safety features of Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist and Blind Spot Monitor..and unlike some other used luxury brands..it's pretty easy to find these features in used 2013 and up XTS's for affordable prices. I live in a small town and haven't been able to find any to test drive..and I have read they don't ride as smooth as you would expect for a large car especially a Cadillac. I also have read that the CUE system is very temperamental and the air shocks go out early and are really expensive to repair. Can you please give me any advice on purchasing one of these vehicles and if what I have read is true? I just don't want to end up with a headache and money pit..but this is the only large luxury car I can find with these safety features that I need for under $12k which is my budget. Thanks so much for your time!

@@Nightbird. buying a car like this at the 12K range is asking for trouble, imo. BUT - you could get lucky and get a well maintained, high mileage version. COULD!... I Just bought a 2015 AWD/Platinum XTS, with a warranty from a Caddy dealer. I'd be scared w/o a warranty on a car with SO many bells & whistles. And yes, the rear shocks have been replaced already. CUE takes some orientation. Lots of features/functionality.

@@MJ-hg1mk Happy you found a good one with an extended warranty! May I ask what you paid for it and how many miles are on it? I know it's going to be tough finding a good one at my price point..but it is what it is right now. I could get a used Lexus which is known for being built well..but I can't find one with all the safety features for under $20k.

@@Nightbird. If I were you, I'd be looking at Chrysler 200s and the like, in that price range..Just saying...I can tell you, my Nav system is already on the blink. Thinks I'm in Maryland. I'm in NY. CUE is temperamental, I'd stay away from it. I still like my XTS but I'm already wondering if I should've snagged that Black A6 in Chicago for a lil more that 20K. I paid $22,900. 57K miles. AWD optioned up Platinum. HUD, audio system, rear seat executive pkg. Panoramic roof. Could find nothing similar Nationwide, at that price point..the ride is wonderful. Don't know what the chattering classes are talking about. Engine is smooth, cabin quiet. Car is not torquey. U can see that in the specs... If u r big on low end torque response, u won't be happy here. I am flexible. Ya can't have everything at this price.

@@MJ-hg1mk Unfortunately Chrysler is the worst rated car company in America. They build pure garbage..horrible materials and fit and finish..wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole..lol..but thanks for the suggestion. And thanks for telling me about the issues with your car and the CUE system. That is exactly what I needed to hear to stop me from getting an electronics nightmare. I currently drive an older Mercedes Benz S Class..so believe me when I say I know about repairs..but luckily mine was made well and isn't loaded down with electronics like the newer ones are. But I need these safety features because people around my area drive like mad men and are always breaking in front of you and driving erratically . Actually last night I discovered INFINITI has pioneered a lot of safety features..and they have one in particular that I want called Distance Control Assist. This feature alone would be worth it for me to find in an older INFINITI..and I have been finding a few in my price range so that might be the route I go. They have vids on this feature here on YT so I suggest you take a look. It's not a PreCollision Warning or Forward Collision Warning as Cadillac calls it. It actually monitors cars in front of you when driving normally (not cruise control) and will brake for you in the way you normally break so that all you have to do is keep your foot on the gas. Hard to describe here..but I suggest watching a vid on it here. I discovered this feature when someone on a forum talked about having it in their INFINITI and how much they missed it because it basically meant one pedal driving in city situations with bad traffic. Let me know what you think about it.
