- CL code on an LG washer is the child lock. In today’s video, I will show you how to turn off this lock and be able to use your washer again. This is simply a safety code and does not mean anything is wrong with your washing machine.

@@checkitout2468 hi there! thanks for the reply! It would not open no matter what, but I ended up just letting the wash finish the cycle and then it let me open it. What happened was I wanted to add a piece of clothing right before the wash was starting..I was confused because I assumed it would let me open it but it forced me to run the wash all the way through and then it opened 😩
