Cool camera I shoot all Sony a7siii a7rv a1 for my concert photography. Would like to see if this camera would be worth adding to my arsenal. My concern would be to see how the camera handles noise in low light conditions. That would be a dealbreaker for me.
I feel you man ! Has a videographer for festival / concert using sony brand, this is so great to see ! Cant afford it today tho, but i'm glad it exist !
Seeing as global shutter sensors typically have caveats such as reduced dynamic range and increased noise levels at high ISO, I’m not too sure the A9iii will be good for concert photography. I’d have to see some first hand results myself.
I see the concern but to be honest, i havent had an issue with needing the higher iso while shooting shows. I tend to use the stage lighting as a sort of flash and it allows me to keep my iso low! Thank you for watching the video. appreciate it.
@@Jakechams fair enough, different situations I guess. I’ve shot shows from small 150 capacity clubs to festival headliners, and for the festivals I even used my RF 100-500mm which is f7.1 at the long end. For tiny club shows with poor lighting, I’ll sometimes have to resort to ISO 12800 to maintain a 1/250 shutter (I shoot a lot of metal shows so need 1/250-1/500 to capture whipping hair/people running around on stage etc)
