I remember watching Giraldo and thinking he was the funniest person of all time. I was really young. The greats that came after him likely benefitted from him. Wish he was still around
Greg Geraldo was one of my favorite comedians. I always enjoyed seeing him on tough crowd. Very sad what happened with Greg. Amazing that he was a Harvard lawyer who decided he’d rather be a comedian. We were all better off for it. RIP, Greg Giraldo thanks for sharing this.
Pure genius on another level he's relatable , relevant , original , articulate and painfully honest with his unadulterated truth, and his unapologetic fearlessness , intellectually always politically on point . To describe him as an insult comic is an unfair ridiculous and just stupid characterization of a true comedian that works hard to perfect and polish his craft , it griefs me so much to see he's no longer with us regardless of his demons he would constantly be struggling with , he was is and in my humble opinion one of the best comedic genius that was taken from the comedy world far too soon and in his wake he leaves a irreplaceable void that will never be filled . although I didn't know him personally I do know he has opened my eyes to the harsh and cruel world that surrounds us every day yet he found his niche and shared what would bring just enough levity that would verbally quell the ugliness of what some would wake up to every day REST IN TRUE PEACE you rough diamond and know you've left a huge void in the comedy pantheon and truly will be miss by all who were lucky enough to see you perform.
We had it so good back then with top comics & Greg was the sort that just got better & better every time you saw him & his material was top shelf every time. A top comedian at work, a classic.
I watch the comedy central roasts at least once a month just to watch his routine. He was by FAR the best roaster and his comedy specials are top tier. I miss him so much, it's really painful to think about him not being here especially now. He would have a hay day with whats going on in the world right now. RIP my guy.
Dude, I didn't even know that bout Norm, thx - but that seems to make sense, doesn't it... His sense of humor was pretty cerebral and niche and cutting.
been waiting for this set for so long. I've always thought he was great, but never got the full treatment. I'm only 20 minutes in and he is killing it!
Its really sad the only comedian that could carry on the insult/put down comedy of the great Don Rickles died before Don Rickles . Greg Giraldo was that great of a comic . He could have went more commercial in his comedy by lessening swear words but he never did . He kept it real .
Drug abuse is sad... a brilliant man who's strung out and high as f#ck but still performing. That's harder than you think. The average person would call in sick for 2 days, but he's on stage making a buck and making people laugh. Super-Hero.
he's in my top 5 list of the last 20+ years of standup. i discovered him when his first cd came out and i saw him at this same venue from this video within 6-7 months of his passing. he looks good here - when i saw him you could tell he wasn't doing well after his divorce. But he was still funny as hell!!!
Hate to be that guy, but Saddam was executed in 2006, so could this clip perhaps be from 06 or is he telling an older bit. Anyway thank you for the video, love to see new Girlado content
i rly appreciate this video and u taking the time to upload it. u should use a web tool and just drag the file into the box to push the audio through both channels and not just the one though.. if u want i can point u to a site that can ezily do it.
Bro I had to keep listening to a bit of the second show, he had that chick laughing at every word. He said "anyone ever talk to a euro" and she immediately answered lmao
The last politically incorrect comic genius. However, the 1st comic EVER to O. D. the same day as his scheduled appearance at a drug recovery event. Simply the best... R. I. P.
9:00. Giraldo said jokes that were based in truths we often don't like to admit. It's actually statistically accurate that you are more likely to be draped inside your own home than anywhere else. 75% of the time it's your siggy other who does the deed, after you willingly consensually became his/her bf or gf or married him/her/them. 70 percent of drapes happen on private rather than public property, which is what your home is, it's your private property, or it's owned by your landlord.
I think your stated year is off on these giggles appearances for Greg Giraldo here and the other one you uploaded for Dave Atell. They both say their ages in each of your videos as Greg says he is 38 years old in this video and Dave Atell mentions his age as 37, yet both your video titles for them say "2007 live in Seattle". Greg Giraldo and Dave Atell were both born in 1965 putting these giggles appearances at 2002/2003 for Atell and 2003/2004 for Giraldo here when they would have both been 37 - 38 years old depending on the month.
I think if Greg was alive today he would have said something like this. Hell if i known I was going to be this fucking popular , I would have killed myself 30 year's ago.😁🤔🤯
Giraldo was great, the GOAT of roast comedy. But he got to talkin' so fast in this video. Pretty sure he was high as a kite. I'm guessing that was why he quit the whole Harvard educated lawyer gig to do stand up.
@@jesseharris8219 sure it is. He went to your phone and my computer and that other guy's grandpad. That's three verified places...I assume there are more.
Still one of the best comedians of all time. Simply amazing.
He was one of the best roasters, too!
In my top 5, if he had stayed alive probably would have made it to #1 in his old age. He'd be unreal in 2023. The material is endless for his style.
Staying alive is huge. Can’t beat it.
He’s in my top 5 as well. But my top five is 5 times Greg Giraldo.
Agree with o.g comment
Harvard Law School graduate who left that very rarified life to be a comedian. He obviously loved comedy very much. Awfully sad story.
In my top five for sure prolly top three
I remember watching Giraldo and thinking he was the funniest person of all time. I was really young. The greats that came after him likely benefitted from him. Wish he was still around

He was rated exactly where he belonged.

One of the greats! Legend!
Miss u Greg... No one compares...
Greg was smarter than nearly all comedians on stage. I also love Norm Macdonald, and norm was a genius at math.
was he as good at math as matthew perry though?

Greg Giraldo was one of the funniest ever. I question though if this was 2007 though. It seems a little earlier. Maybe 2004/2005

Left this world too soon

Judging by the bit about the Janet Jackson Superbowl incident, I'd say 2004.
