Isometric Contraction vs Isotonic Contraction:
In isometric contraction, length of the muscle remains constant. They help maintain stable position. In isotonic contraction, the muscle shortens, but the tension remains constant throughout the contraction. They are responsible for most movements. Many physical activities involves combination of both.

Oh god how did he made 2 whole pages into a video ????? Thank youuuuuuuuu❤
I was so confused by other videos. Thank you, the push up example was the best
You hit the concept
Great job 👍👌
Nice video, thanks!
Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤
Tanks a lot😊
Quick and easy! Thanks for making it straight to the point.🙂
Thanks for video
Thank you
very useful
very nice legend
Best videos
Can you make a video about graphs related to this topic????❤❤❤
Another great video. I have quick question: for the dumbbell example, when the biceps maintain it at a certain position, since the weight remains the same, can it be both isometric and isotonic?
Sort of, Yes. But in my experience understanding these intricacies is not helpful in understanding other concepts any further. So I am keeping information simple and not going in further detail.

👍
quick question, why does the tension in isometric contraction increases while in isotonic it’s constant
U've missed smth up ،im afraid, rhe question is
How does the tension in isotonic not Change while the length changes (what about length tension relationship!)
Requesting 😢 can you give a video about ECG
I am winding up general and muscle physiology with some remaining topics. After that will go for cardiovascular system. I hope it does not take too long.
@@NonstopNeuron waiting for that👍🏻🙏
Where are the notes there not on the website
I am not adding notes anymore. But you can explore the entire video library in more organized way on the website.
@@NonstopNeuron is there any where u have the notes for this specific video?
