I think she broke both wrists, in addition to her nose and some ribs.
@@cyndyb1 yes, I was so shocked to hear that. I think I assumed from what I first heard the injuries weren't so bad. I hope she's all better now

Lori and Monte are such an iconic duo now. When you watch the video of when Lori revealed she had Breast Cancer and now this Monte was actually emotional because of how long they’ve known each other and their connection, it wasn’t just for camera Monte was crying and sincerely cares about Lori.
So scary. She must have been so worried and in pain. I hope she is getting it all sorted. They can do amazing things now in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Carrie Underwood had that bad fall and you can't even tell.
So shocked when I watch it. But then I look at the snapshot from AJC in 2:10, it shows that the interview was done in April 2019. Meaning that the accident is over a year ago, so I'm glad she is in a better condition now. 💛
We all wish Lori a fast and complete recovery - physically, mentally and emotionally. Sending lots of love and prayers her way, we all miss her!

She's still recovering and should be almost back to normal now. I copied an excerpt from her interview with People in 2020: "My nose and both wrists (all of which were broken in the fall) are still really sore,” the reality star adds. “I can’t lift more than one bridal gown at a time, but I’m hoping my wrists improve.”
Allen says that her “recovery process was long and involved.”
“Although I eat right and exercise regularly, the fact is that my body and bones are weak from fighting breast cancer,” she says. “Through the fall, I learned I have osteoporosis which I am now treating. The fall reminded me to slow down and to be grateful for all of the amazing love and support I have in my life.”

Hope and pray Lori is doing better. Monte I commend you on making her stay down instead of getting her up or letting her get up until the paramedics get there and examine her. I know you are probably also feeling guilty about it, but just know that it was an accident that could have happened to anyone (even a bride). We know it was not on purpose. Stay strong sir and know that y'all are loved.

Look on goggle the fall was over a year ago
People magazine had an article about it. She was diagnosed with osteoporosis as a result of her cancer treatment and is doing rehab work and weight bearing exercise to help with the osteoporosis.

I read that she is healing slowly. It must have been a tremendous shock to the system. I'm over 60, and when you fall , whether you hurt yourself seriously or not, it is a great shock. Look after yourself Lori, you're a fighter and we love you ♥️

Can we get an update? How is she doing now? Oh, it’s hard to see a loved one get hurt. I live with & care for my elderly Grandmother, she had a bad fall a year or so ago, luckily survived ok, but it was bad, she also lacerated above her brow, & broke her nose, & head injuries always bleed a lot bc its just a very vascular area - i had to clean it up & my stomach turned & was in a bit knot all day. I hope Lori has been recovering well, hope to hear an update soon.

OMG. Prayers to Lori, her family and friends. You have a long road ahead of you Lori. You are not alone. You have family and friends and loads of fans. I've fallen a few times myself. Cracked/bruised ribs, broken feet and ankles at different times. The hardest part will be the recovery. I didn't even realize one time I had cracked/bruised ribs until the ankle pain went away. You need plenty of rest, people to help you, calcium and good food to build up your strength. Breathing will come easier when the nose swelling go downs. For now mostly breathe through your mouth. I found it much easier to use a large pain with hot water to sit on my bed and wash myself but you will need help with that due to the ribs and wrists being broken. I know this is a terrible situation but you are strong. People in your life will help you be even stronger. Listen to audio tapes (i.e., books, music, etc.), watch the internet, watch local television. Don't be embarrassed to get help. God will provide.
