Hello! Just found this video! I know this is old but,to me its new! I used to watgh your show all the time! Im Canadian and was on life support last year. I lost all of my family close together. I had covid,pheumonia,and a heart attack i died. My son sat by my bedside in 2022, when they told him to basically unplug me.They said i had severe brain damage would never walk,feed myself ect....my son Landon at 34 yrs old said no you dont know my mom! All the specialist said its normal to be positive but face facts...he said no,YOu Dont know my moms spirit! My beautiful son ,physically,morally,and spiritaly. i only wish you, nevermind,fromnothing..I only forgot the computer, experts say that i wouldnt be able to talk or walk etc..but anyway this is an old video and nobody of your caliber reads these comments.i lost my parents 9 months apart . Have a niceday

She's still recovering and should be almost back to normal now. I copied an excerpt from her interview with People in 2020: "My nose and both wrists (all of which were broken in the fall) are still really sore,” the reality star adds. “I can’t lift more than one bridal gown at a time, but I’m hoping my wrists improve.” Allen says that her “recovery process was long and involved.” “Although I eat right and exercise regularly, the fact is that my body and bones are weak from fighting breast cancer,” she says. “Through the fall, I learned I have osteoporosis which I am now treating. The fall reminded me to slow down and to be grateful for all of the amazing love and support I have in my life.”

I want to get this book sooo bad! I just discovered this yesterday, and it is speaking straight to me! I will be 63 next month, and find myself in a job that I would never dream I would be in at my age, at this stage if my life! I'm alsobvery frustrated with my weight, and I just feel "stuck". Before I started seeing the posts about this book, I had been thinking my own self...what do I do now? How do I get out of this job, but, into something that (has) to pay well? Is this what I'm doing for the rest of my life? I'm so over weight now, and I am just shocked at my own self! I KNOW what to do, I just can't seem to get started! I love, love Lori and I just know that this book is what I am needing, and to know that there are other women my age that feel like me! Like Miss Lori's analogy about the cookie, I've always used a baseball analogy, that I don't want to go down standing, I want to go down swinging!! I just can't seem to get off the bench! Lol. Can we get an update? How is she doing now? Oh, it’s hard to see a loved one get hurt. I live with & care for my elderly Grandmother, she had a bad fall a year or so ago, luckily survived ok, but it was bad, she also lacerated above her brow, & broke her nose, & head injuries always bleed a lot bc its just a very vascular area - i had to clean it up & my stomach turned & was in a bit knot all day. I hope Lori has been recovering well, hope to hear an update soon.
