I'm new to mining and want to build a cpu/gpu rig for fun. If i were to build this exact rig or lets say spend around $400-$500 on one will it be capable of mining most coins?
Yep with building a rig with both a gpu and a cpu, you can mine any coins. However 95% of coins only use either a gpu or cpu at a time leaving the part not in use while mining. Warthog coin is different in that it uses both. Also just the Discord link in description if you need any more info
Thanks for the spreadsheet. If I understood correctly, a good starting point for the OC are the sets for mining Pyrin. It's not yet clear to me what you recommend for the CPU: at first glance I noticed that the CPU is used intensely. So Would it be better to disable PBO and set multiplier and voltage like you do for CPU mining?
@@slashgg1501 Basically for the CPU you want to undervolt it as low as you can and set the Fan speeds to 100% depending on what cooler you have. Undervolting will be the best thing you can do to save power and keep it cool.
Is there anything more profitable right now at this build price?

Hey mate, if you go check out the warthog playlist linked in the description, I go through a bunch of overclocks in there.

@@BearMarketMiner Thx again.5900x/3070.Undervolted the CPU and NOVO oc setts for the 3070.Are 500/550 Mh at 200W consistent for that config?
Is there any hashrate difference between using the Apu and regular cpu
What's an APU?
@@BearMarketMiner it's the ryzen CPU with integrated graphics
Nah the integrated graphics wont affect the performance and graphics aren't being utilized by the GPU. Has more to do with core and thread count
Ever mined any Scala?
Not I haven't, tell me a bit about it.
Warthog over evertyhing in my opinion!
We love us some warthog mining
