You can't mine shiba inu with the ks0 ultras. However, you may be able to getbl paid out in Shiba by using unmineable which is a pool that allows different coins payments.

Definitely not very hard for an experienced miner, but someone brand new in the space will have a much harder time. i decided to make it as simple as possible. I didn't try get it running on startup as I tested it on my workstation.

Apool has been fine in my experience but like anything there is always risks involved.

I looked into them. They have a slightly lower $/pkwh rate but their solar feed in rate works out to about half. I'd have to do the maths and work out what works out cheaper.

Yeah that's right. About 24 hours from now. Hopefully more hashrate the next epoch, but it's still be a decent one so far.

What about RX6600 cards. Also possible?

@BearMarketMiner I don't think the hashrate matters all too much, since everyone's hashrate would be equivalently increased the slice of pie would be the same size? I'll set up tomorrow morning for the new epoch. Not much point doing it now, since it will just crash when the epoch hits.

Profits have dropped back to normal at the moment as the minting has slowed down a lot. It only lasted for around 10 days.

I mines only the "KHeavyHash" Algorithm so it can only mine coins supported on that. There a few ways to use this miner and get paid out in other coins via the use of "nicehash" and "unmineable". These are both mining pools you can connect to and mine the kheavyhash algorithm but get paid in multiple different coins like bitcoin Ethereum dogecoin and many more

I would assume so, there is no reason that I know of that you couldn't keep mining qubic into the future

Yeah, not a very common card for mining, so I left it out. I could get every single card, unfortunately.

That is fair enough. There are no random changes to the flight sheets these days. It's been smooth sailing for me since I got back to mining.

@@BearMarketMiner I switched to verus about 2 months ago. Qubic had just been going down and down (approx epoch 105 era). I'm glad I did because verus doubled recently, but now rewards are shit, so I may hop back on qubic. I've got 40 gpus and 23 ryzen 9 cpus... I wonder how that would go now?

Sounds like a good-sized farm. If you saw in the video, I went through my setup and what I'm using, plus the pepfitability, so that should give you an idea of what to expect in returns.

Yeah there is generally a delay. Even at 2.5x more profit, still not as profitable as Qubic :)

Did you make this video and then only post it 2 or 4 days later? 4 or 5 days ago it was profitable yes...When everyone was minting it was good for all about 48hrs. Everything is back to where it used to be, in other words very boring and low profits. Kaspa's biggest downfall is their aggressive emission rate cuts of 5% per month, or essentially a halving every year. So we are nearing the end of Kaspa mining, unless the price pumps but it seems it cant get passed 20 cents. There are more Kas sellers than there are buyers, which is why the price is not pumping. Glad I got in a year ago but no more kaspa miner purchases here. It was a good run. Now I'm invested in L9's, I've been mining since 2016 and scrypt miners have always been reliably profitable miners anywhere from 24-48 months lifespan, just look at the L7's for example. Kaspa, Alephium, Radiant....these are all hype asics with very short lifespans when it comes to profits.

Hey there! Did you have a chance to really dive into the video, or did you just skim through? I shared my K1pool dashboard live from day one, and as of the recording, profits were still around 30%. Even now, my farm is holding steady at about a 20% increase compared to before. If you have different numbers, I’d love to see them-after all, this is all about the data! I agree, the emission schedule isn’t ideal, but there’s not much we can do about that. Still, I think kaspa miners could be a solid investment if the price is right. Let’s see how things shake out in the next few months and see if there will be further price drops on hardware

Even at 8 cents kwh, your rate of profitability with a crypto mining rig would be double that at current rates, if you sold the Crypto daily. I'd also argue that a 2 year Payback period for an investment is fantastic compared to most other avenues is great, plus you'd still have the hardware you paid for to sell back any time. Some food for thought. Fortunately in my situation I already had the hardware paid off mostly, so the solar was more of a bonus method to increE profitability than a way to pay everything off.
