Pip's description of his efforts to change his orientation through prayer and Bible reading sends chills down my spine - that was my path too, and I remember wondering why everyone else were heterosexual for free while, for some reason, something was wrong with me. Thank you for having the courage of telling this story.
I remember utterly pointless it was to pray for it to go away. We all did it when adolescence came. God was either incapable or unwilling to make me a heterosexual. Either way it was so wonderful to embrace honesty.
My honest opinion as a christian guy dealing with same sex attraction . He should have not married. but I do understand the circumstances he was in making that decision. In the end we all as human beings should take accountability for our own decisions, because GOD is the only one able to judge us as believers. My fullness of my identity is not for me nor humans to deside what I am... it is only God who can do that. And God says (Romans 8:17) we are sons and daughters we are heirs of the Kingdom of God. My sexual orientation is NOT my identity, my true identity is far beyond that. And for the sake of a healthy fear of God I choose to live a celebate life, because it honours the word of God, it honours my fellow believers and it honours my body which is the temple of God. This is a personal decision formed by my own experience, not forced by any religion or peer pressure. All I hope is that all believers find peace , hope , freedom and Love in Christ.
Taking away the elaborate supernatural infrastructure that you've fabricated to justify avoiding doing what's necessary to ultimately resolve the issue you're dealing with, the decision to lead a celibate life may seem to be a less worthy endeavour than you've made it out to be in this "protesteth too much" testimonial.
@jacegil God did not make you that way. The fall of mankind did! If you blame anyone it should be Adam and Eve and don't forget Satan! God does love you just the way you are, if he didn't he would not offer you the FREE gift of salvation and eternal life. Life is short , eternity is forever.

This documentary changed my life. I am a 16 year old and was previously a catholic. I was struggling finding acceptance in the church being gay. When I discovered the Anglican Church through this documentary, which is very similar to Catholicism with the exception of it being affirming of lgbt rights, I felt something shift. I finally found acceptance with my Christian Faith and coexisting with my sexuality. When I turn 18 in 2021 I plan on fully converting to Anglicanism. Thank you Pip for changing my life, your story helped me finally be at peace
Hi my sister! I am not part of the lgbt community but I want you to know that God loves you and I support you! I was also previously Roman Catholic but I felt unaccepted there as a person of a minority so I somewhat understand the pain but not to the extent you felt it probably. God bless you
Please if you are serious about it, I encourage you to go to confession and learn what the church really teaches about homosexuality. You may have a misunderstanding o what the human is and how the church is involved with the salvation of souls. Know that you are called to be a saint, that is more than our natural state. You cannot ignore that the catholic church is the only church our Lord founded, be serious on your discernment. I am praying for you!
God makes us, guides us and loves us! Being Christian and being Gay is totally compatible. Listen to the words and love of Jesus, not the interpretations of men and if need be find the right congregation that accepts you for you. Don’t let others guilt you or bring you down, live in love and peace.
I hope you reconsider your conversion and your faith. Believe in God because God exists. Believing in God because it fits conveniently with who you want to have sex with is an illegitimate reason for faith. It's no different than sales people who join a church so they can try to turn the congregation into customers. It's unethical. If God exists then God exists and if God does not exist then God does not exist. God's existence does not depend on your sexuality. Please don't deceive honest believers into thinking you're a brother Christian who has genuine faith when your faith actually rests on who you're sexually attracted to
I like that they were such true friends, that this "love" enabled them to deal with this huge problem with compassion and empathy because they cared for each other that much. This is a truly sad yet beautiful story.
"For some strange reason, the church could ruin just about everything for us, but that they couldn't take our real experience of the divine." Whether you are LGBTQI+ or not, God loves EVERYBODY whether you like it or not!! Amen.
God loves everybody. How exactly does He do that? And where do you get this idea that God loves everybody. You seem to know Him. Or maybe you think you know Him. Your comment doesn't say much, honestly.
I'm a non-believer who, as a boy, sang in a church choir but can't remember ever believing that there was a God, especially given the terrible things that were being done in his name and despite him supposedly looking over and out for everyone. If so, why do so many in the world suffer incredible misfortunes and mistreatment. The teachings of 'God' in all faiths is based on love, forgiveness, understanding, acceptance, tolerance, and inclusion. The problem is that those people responsible for the formation and oversight of the various religious 'organisations' base their beliefs, not on the 'word of God' but on their personal prejudices and this is reflected in the uncompromising attitudes of these religions. They cast out those who do not fit their idea of what is their interpretation of their 'God's word'. After all, religious books which tell you how to behave and think were written predominently by men based on their prejudices and experiences. If you believe in God, love your life as you believe your God would want for you and not as others interpret what you are meant to do.
This was a moment in time for both Pip and Kris to prove once again that God has no favorites. Their story is beautiful and nothing is more God like then the life they are living.
Joe Pepe there is nothing God like in the life he is living. The bible explicitly states homosexuality is wrong. You can search for a “church” that says your sin is ok, but you’re just fooling yourself.
Such a powerful and moving documentary that breaks the shackles of the conservative evangelical movement ... What a breath of fresh air to feel God’s love and grace for all!
It's a turn away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ in reality, 1 Corinthians 6:9 says "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men". We all go through difficult circumstances in life in one way or another but embracing our sin is the opposite of what God wants for us. Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."
I got married and had 3 children !! The Marriage was a complete Disaster.. After my Divorce I came out to my family.. And I've been happy ever since...
Peace with one's " own self" , as my kids said when they were little, and love for our fellow humans is actually like a rainbow .... emotional, beautiful, natural and light ... I hope you're all having a great time!
What an amazing wife and mother he has in Chris! Major props to her for being so open and forward thinking and unconditional in her love and support of her partner.
God loves you the way you are. Don't fall for the negative sides, keep praying to god, and keep working on your life; and most important, your relationship with God.
Human effort could never match the righteousness of God. That is the reason Jesus died in our stead - that is why God's grace is invaluable. And Jesus Christ understands that we are not infallible. Anyone trying to say that there are people who are not worthy of the love of Jesus Christ are just modern-day Pharisees. Not even they in all their Mosaic Law & order were exempt from needing forgiveness from God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. For ALL have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God. Christ came to call the sick & the unloved that they may experience the mercy of God. 💛

@@mikazofstrum3268 Where is your husband? 1 Timothy 2:12 is pretty clear on the subject of speaking out against men - and the priest you continually rage against *is* a man. Where is your husband? Why are you breaking your own Biblical law?
E T well I think you assume you are interpreting 1Timothy correctly, obviously out of context and with the eyes of a modernist. Well, try if you can, to imagine the context of this letter from Paul. If you read the interpretations from the Catholic Bishops or Orthodox Bishops ( those with authority from Christ to interpret these passages), you will see that this refers to either a rebuke of a specific case in the Ephesian church and the establishment of proper conduct. Men are to conduct themselves with honesty and without judgement. Women are to learn in a peaceful manner without quarrel. Both men and women are warned against displaying the arrogance of Eve. Now, you make two errors in your argument. One, you mistake Paul’s instruction to a specific situation, for a universal teaching or code of conduct. To be able to ascertain Paul’s overall message, you have to see what Paul’s total message is. Remember Paul also states the “we are all one in Christ.” Two, your rebuttal to my argument is invalid. This is because my argument states that one must be consistent with Christian teaching to call yourself a Christian, which the subject of the video fails to be. You establish a red herring by comparing my apparent lack of adherence to Christian teaching to my claim regarding this video. This still does not address the content of my argument. Let me help you. You could be valid if you questioned whether or not Christianity actually teaches the doctrine that practicing homosexuality is sinful. That would force me to prove the point. Question my adherence to the faith does not do this validly.
I hope this incredible young man reads this msg. You are loved, and God would NEVER, EVER turn his back on you OR place conditions on his love for you. Brilliant. I think it's about time now that people should stop hiding their fear by hiding behind what should be a totally inclusive church. God bless you.
This is a cautionary tale. If you're gay, accept yourself, your nature, and don't try this because you are involving others, will sooner or later have to admit defeat. Shame on anyone who tries to convince gay men that marriage is the cure.

THE SINS THAT CRY TO HEAVEN FOR VENGEANCE 5 . They called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to your house tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intimacies with them." 6 . I read it in Hebrew and Greek. As a Baptist, my faith is grounded in Jesus/the gospels; all the rest is commentary to be read and understood in the context of the ministry of Jesus. Both Jesus and Paul warn against false prophets of which they are as many now as then. Read the first Chapter of John in Greek; it really opened my heart. I also follow what Jesus says about about Sodom.
I’m a SSA young man convert to Catholicism and I must say that though my sexuality is part of who I am, it is not the core of my identity. As a religious person my identity is first with Our Lord Jesus and His Church. I encourage anyone who wants to know the actual stance of the Catholic Church on homosexuals to read the Catechism or to hear talks which are available in this video platform given by Fr. Mike Schmitz.
I am aware that the video is not directly related to the Catholic Church. I just wanted to show another point of view from a religious person who is SSA. Also the fact that the person went to a congregation merely for their acceptance of his sexuality in my opinion is not a good sign. I converted from a church who could have accepted this behavior to the Church who teaches otherwise. I converted because I had to surrender to what had been revealed to me. The Most Holy Sacrament. It should be said that according to the Church beings SSA is not a sin itself though acting on it is. God bless you.
Schmitz tells people Catholics aren’t allowed to even go to gay weddings as guests. This from a man whose brother is gay. I used to think this was pettiness but this is a deep deep sickness in many Catholics. On this issue the church is unnaturally disordered and must repent of its mortal sin. Many of the hierarchy will burn.
This story is so heart breaking. I am a believer and even though I would not be able to say that gay marriage is okay, I do believe that everyone should be allowed in church. The bible says that every sin is equal so if we don't allow every sinner into church, what kind of church are we? We all have fallen short of the glory of God and we are called to love God first and everyone else too. How could anyone be denied the love of God and be called to repentance if they are shunned when they are seeking God? I love that the church truly has a "Come as you are" attitude. In that respect, I agree.
@@wendymitchell8245 I went to church before I was a Christian. I was invited by a good friend and I eventually repented. Not every sin is equal. Some are worse. You wouldn't consider lying to be as bad as adultery, or saying something insulting to be as bad as killing someone.
I really think that society as a whole has to wake up to the fact that we are and we are not going away any time soon, I am proud of who I am and I have no regrets what so ever as to what I am, I have this life from the age of 15 years and now at the age of 77 I can say without any regrets that I am a very happy person happily married to a wonderful man whom I have been with for almost 27 years. Potent story. The mission of the entirety of Jesus' life and the New Testament can be summed up in this: God is supremely focused on loving the "outsider". Pip's story is the personification of this message. Thank you Pip and God bless!!
Robert B Anderson read again. Jesus affirms the Law. He does not abrogate it. Don’t take what you like and leave out what you don’t. To love God is to obey Him. When Jesus saved the woman from the mob, He forgave her but also said go an sin no more. God’s Love does not include sinful behavior unless the sinner repents. Then His sacrifice belongs to you.
Christ's focus was / is on drawing sinners to Himself for their sanctification. But He forces no man. Reject His commands, follow the world, seek every fleshly desire and listen to the demonic hoards...you've willfully drowned out the voice of God within you.
Nope, you people like twisting the word of God. Jesus ' love for insiders or outsiders has only One goal. Setting them free from the power of sin, death and hell. He never entertained the devil by encouraging anyone to stay in their sins.
Tell that to the churches that condemn us, cause shame for us, cause depression for us, cause non-acceptance of ourselves even as good people, cause us to commit suicide.............all religions are just "bad stories" and are sin themselves - they promote duality, polarization, wars and hatred. We don't need religions to be good, king, loving, wonderful, accepting people. Find spirit in any way other than religion - religion tells lies to people and stories that never happened. Pip has gone through real pain. He obviously missed some critical male bonding when he was young. But he and his ex-wife are very confused and are causing much damage to themselves and others.Example 1The fact of a man craving his wife is NOT about objectifying her. Married sex between man and wife is about mutual self-giving where two literally become one. It is an icon of the Trinity. It is so precious to God that He enables the couple to become co-creators.That is NEVER possible with same-sex couples.Example 2While God may operate in unexpected ways, He NEVER contradicts Himself. He has an established order that humans are duty bound to abide by.What He wants from us is simple: that we love Him back and abide in His will. That's it.What He wants is for us to do these things so we can get to our true home, the one He has prepared for us. Don't trade the eternal banquet that is our true inheritance for the temporary potato chips of this world.

I am not interested in being with a man and getting married to one not to mention having children. However, I do love my gay brothers and sisters. It doesn't feel right to me so I decided to create new relationships with other people and started an online business.
You my dear are perfect in showing how God is your First Love!!!!! Christ will give you millions of crowns to throw at The Father feet on that glorious day !!!! That will be where I will watch your love for our creator and Celebrate with Christ !!!
I loved this entire video, although I felt very strong empathy for Kris, the baby's Mother (if I have her name correct). As far as wishing: I wish at the very end, Pip (the Priest) would have, as he held the Host, smiled, looked fulfilled and happy. And, it the small circles that were rising up in the field of black behind them, I wish they had been coming down, symbolizing Christ's body being available to all the people for whom He died and gave His life, rather than being lifted or taken up, away from the people. This is a tremendous video. I can think, immediately, of at least 2,500 people who I wish I could invite to sit down and watch it.
Thanks Dale, we're so glad that you connected with our story! Pip and I have a new TH-cam channel that you might enjoy subscribing to and sharing with your friends :)

Very nice what a uplifting message for us all. What a model you are for all the young men who need someone to lookup too. My days are coming to an end but you gave me something to hope for tomorrow. May God YAHWEH an YESHUA bless you and all yours.
Phil Lynch THe Spirit will guide us into all truth. The ancient Tradition of the Church is the the Spirit leads us by guiding the decisions of the community of faith: the bishops, priests, deacons, and laity who prayerfully meet in faith to discuss issues and listen for the guidance of the Spirit. The idea that anyone at all can read the Bible and whatever’s written there is the way things have to be is a relatively modern invention, developed by the Protestant reformers when they threw out the faith as it had existed for 1500 years and reinvented everything. Modern Evangelical Protestantism is a human invention, a radical reinterpretation of Christianity, and because of that, it has led to the reappearance of all the old heresies.
Wf Coaker if you are suggesting that God’s word can change, you are gravely mistaken. God is eternal. That means His word and actions are forever. Any reinterpretation is heresy. Both the Old and New testaments confirm homosexuality is a grave sin. We don’t get to reinterpret this. Remember Jesus said He came to reaffirm the law not abrogate it.
I truly believe that God is love and that all are welcome in the church. No one should ever be turned away. Glad you’re happy but what about the wife/ex-wife.
God is love and endless mercy for those who repent but he s also justice ,horrible justice . He s holy and cannot stand sin although love his children and want their salvation .repent while u can , at death it's over. Utube saints visits to hell. Have u ever considered castration .many done it it healed them
She was aware that he was gay before they married, and willingly entered into marriage with him hoping that therapy would change his orientation, but must have been aware it might not work! They seem to have a good relationship and are good parents. Amen
I’m an atheist but ladies and gentlemen, THIS is how it’s done. If you believe in god and the bible or any religion for that matter, this is what it’s about. This is TRUE Christianity. You can be religious while truly promoting kindness and tolerance and acceptance. Love this 💜
Also an atheist here, also shared your sentiments. Am also gay, a gay woman though. Feminist to the core and this short documentary was very interesting, moving, enlightening... the realisation of "reparative therapy" being highly misogynistic, I was really glad to hear about. What galls me about so many "loving", religious types is their refusal to accept the FACT that people and the animal kingdom alike, present live, partnership, companionship and friendship in every colour and shade of the spectrum. The "problem" is not the fact of someone's homosexuality! It's the devastating, toxic fragility of far too many people's sense of themselves that they fear it so much and fear that it will destroy what they hold dear and what they give importance to. I cant understand how somebody can preach love, acceptance, forgiveness, kindness in one breath, then damn and cast out other humans, inflict a lifetime of misery and depression and anxiety onto people they claim to love in their own families and communities, just because they cannot understand their expressions of love. If God is supposed to be the word and the final line, then why do people get to use their interpretation of this word to inflict anguish and condemn so many men, women and others in between of many ages to suicide rather than allowing them to take up their space and express love and nurturing in a different way? This film was refreshing to watch. I'm in the UK and have a trans Male friend, devout Christian, who is married to a Male priest, very high up in the Anglican church, they have 2 children and a great life together. Surely the end of this film, here, where the people involved are free to love, Express that love and live with the support of their community, needs to become the beginning part of EVERYONE'S story. Regardless of religious values or not. Kris: I am humbled by your ability to be so loving and accepting to be the person so instrumental in this story, enabling your best friend to become his authentic self and find peace. I do hope that you are able to express the love you have for someone in a relationship that is fulfilling, if that is what you need and choose to do as well. The wholesome acceptance of our rainbow of differences should not feel remarkable, it should be so mundane and unremarkable that documentaries do not need to be made about it to highlight it's exceptional nature. We should be unaffected by this kind of outcome because it is normal and average, not something to be made an example of. I'm truly glad that these men are now happy. I felt sick watching the first half of the film. I really hope Kris finds fulfillment in her life too, whatever shape that takes. You are a courageous woman, Kris. 💜💜
It follows from his own discovery of freedom in Jesus, that he would have wanted her to have a loving relationship of her own. However, it is quite possible that the love of her small children is enough to satisfy het at this stage. I'm sure many mothers would agree.
@@altavosloo9415 My impression is that the two men in this documentary will accept and support her in her relationship when or if she ever decides to include a spouse into her and their lives.

The Bible was written by men, to suit mankind living more than 1500 years ago. The fact Christianity has survived till now is surprising in the light of science. We now know It took hundreds of millions of years to create the world we live in. We can trace "creation" by dating rocks and fossils: from the early ammonites, to fish, to amphibians, to reptiles and then mammals. It took apes 2-3 million years to become "man" as we know it. We knew none of this when we listened to Jesus and saw him crucified. God never told us the evolution story. It then took 300 years to write the Bible (on an estimated 360 calf skins for the first edition). It would have been rewritten and corrected many times in the process - improved and adjusted by a plethora of "wise men" with changing ideas, interpretations, special needs and diverse cultures (but with no science/psychology knowledge). The fact the Bible survived till now with all its naivete speaks more about people's psychological need for comfort, hope, direction and a reason for being, than it does the Truth. Remember, it was written before man discovered that Earth was round, or that ours is one of thousands of universes. So in that knowledge vacuum, the Intelligent Design theory hinges on Adam and Eve who had four sons (no daughters) three of whom found wives (perhaps their mother). And later, other improbable yarns like the one involving Noah and his Ark. Jesus and the apostles obviously didn't know about evolution otherwise the Bible would have given God credit for it. In fact, God could have explained a lot of things through Jesus (including that many animals are naturally attracted to the same sex and that it is impossible to change their orientation). Too late now. The Bible "cannot be changed to suit man", so we must interpret it. Islam has a similar problem. The Koran advocates stoning homosexuals to death but in a poll of Muslims in London recently 30% disagreed. Similarly, Christian Fundamentalists won't let anyone queer their pitch. It's hellfire for all homosexuals and the Devil is in charge of it. The Catholics kicked Pip out as if he was a philistine. Understandable given the "One True Church's" reputation. However, a more pragmatic brotherhood, the acute Anglicans, who must have put the Bible's thesis up for queer review, noticed a few anomalies and decided to let Nature take its course. They hired Pip and made him a priest. For all the gay Christians or parents of gay or transgender children out there, I can hear them now: Praise the Pragmatists.
Sean Livingston I’m not sure if you’re joking, but obviously it is, what makes men better pastors than women? Also there’s many religions with female preachers/priests get with the times
One nice thing about Christianity in the Western World is that there exists a wide range of churches with varied beliefs. One can always leave a church that is not the right fit and find one that is. No-one should stay in a church that is psychologically, emotionally and spiritually damaging.
By the same token, it kind of underscores the fundamental lunacy of the project given there are literally thousands of different, competing versions of "the truth" - often times at odds with one another about the "correct" interpretation of their ancient tales.
@@MRayner59 The same can be said of any ideological group, be it religious, political or social. Once a group becomes large enough, people's being what they are, there will always be schisms and divisions within it.

@Stacy Caruso where does it say that celibacy is the only solution? Isn't in the bible that we should repent, be baptised and recieve the Holy Spirit? Because we are slaves of sin, and through baptism we become free from sin, we rise up IN Christ and the Holy Spirit will help us to silence our flesh and do the things according to Gods will? So we can be free?
@Stacy Caruso Excuse me. You are accepting words from a book , written 3-5 thousand years ago by a Jew, meant to be a ' guideline ' for the Jewish people. Regardless...these words ...whichever you all refer to...have been rewritten way too many time and adopted into the Christian Bible. We are all children of God , a benovelent God . How could a father condem his child, son ,to eternal damnation for loving another man when they both remain faithful to their God. God is Love, God wants us to Love . ' Live and let live '...' judge not lest ye be judged ' ... and if you have not sinned you are welcome to ' cast the first stone '. Just my humble thoughts, not looking for a fight. God bless.
I know two lovely young women who married gay Christian men who claimed they were "cured". Both of these women are now divorced and devastated because the love of their life did not and cannot stop their attraction for men. You do not want your daughters to go through this, I am speaking from experience...
He is not a man of God. He abandoned the faith, going so far in the opposite direction that it would make your head spin if you found out what his life is now.
It is sad humanly speaking of what he went through. But no matter what no one will change the Bible and what God says no matter what this world says is ok.
Kris is the most unselfish woman I’ve seen. Having said that, it’s not what she says that convinced me that she’s happy but what she doesn’t say between the lines that make me wonder whether she’s (really) happy with the situation. Pip became very queer asa he talked to Ms Drag, which shows he’s still performing ... I don’t understand why people choose to be in an environment we’re 90% of the Congregation disagrees with their lifestyle. Religion is a cancer, a confirmative pit hole of sorrow and make-believe. The fact that Pip was asked to leave his church and lost most of his friends should’ve been an eye-opener. Then again, it’s his life and he can do with it what he wants, asa he doesn’t hurt anyone around him.
Marcus NL I disagree. He has most certainly hurt his wife. Sure, she’s trying to remain positive and be supportive. Who wouldn’t like to hear all the positive comments about themselves as evidenced here? But one day she will be honest with herself and Pip and admit how unhappy she is.
How about Kris, did she and have she, and will she experience falling in love? What happened to her in 10, 20, 30 years, when the kids all grown? Will she, in time, long for fallen in love with someone who also fell in love with her?
Of course this video is going to raise controversy. Christianity and homosexuality reconciled? In the past, when I heard negatives comments about homosexuality, I usually remained silent. Not now. If you are NOT homosexual, why don't you invest your time and energy in something more productive rather than playing the role of God, quoting the Bible and judging other people. Does it make you feel more powerful and better than others ? Now, if you ARE homosexual or have someone near you who is, probably you need reassurance, love and inner peace or help. Some have lived most of their lives in shame and guilt. A horrible burden. And that hasn't help them to fix the problem. To find a community that is supportive is important, like the guy in this video. However, the bottom line is to find peace and acceptance inside ourselves. And believe that God somehow is going to make you live a life worth living.
His ex-wife is the real hero in this video. It is all because of her. He might suffer, but in the end, he got what he wanted. In the other hand, the wife has to make the sacrifices, and I do not see her playing the victim here and crying!

All I hope is that all believers find peace , hope , freedom and Love in Christ.
drew0909 your burden is great but great burdens forge great saints. God Bless you and your example.
Martin Rayner what do you suggest is the resolution?

This documentary changed my life. I am a 16 year old and was previously a catholic. I was struggling finding acceptance in the church being gay. When I discovered the Anglican Church through this documentary, which is very similar to Catholicism with the exception of it being affirming of lgbt rights, I felt something shift. I finally found acceptance with my Christian Faith and coexisting with my sexuality. When I turn 18 in 2021 I plan on fully converting to Anglicanism. Thank you Pip for changing my life, your story helped me finally be at peace

We're so glad that you connected with our story! Pip and I have a new TH-cam channel all about queer spirituality, psychotherapy and embodiment.

Nicolle Olafson your an atheist and would go to a church, why?are you going to explain to these people that they are following in a manner inconsistent with the evidence? You should be able to agree with that statement.

THE SINS THAT CRY TO HEAVEN FOR VENGEANCE
5
. They called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to your house tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intimacies with them."
6
. Lot went out to meet them at the entrance. When he had shut the door behind him,
7
. he said, "I beg you, my brothers, not to do this wicked thing.
8
. I have two daughters who have never had intercourse with men. Let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you please. But don't do anything to these men, for you know they have come under the shelter of my roof."
9
. They replied, "Stand back! This fellow," they sneered, "came here as an immigrant, and now he dares to give orders! We'll treat you worse than them!" With that, they pressed hard against Lot, moving in closer to break down the door.
10
. But his guests put out their hands, pulled Lot inside with them, and closed the door;
11
. at the same time they struck the men at the entrance of the house, one and all, with such a blinding light that they were utterly unable to reach the doorway.
12
. Then the angels said to Lot: "Who else belongs to you here? Your sons (sons-in-law) and your daughters and all who belong to you in the city - take them away from it!
13
. We are about to destroy this place, for the outcry reaching the LORD against those in the city is so great that he has sent us to destroy it." -- Genesis 19:5 - 13

When Jesus saved the woman from the mob, He forgave her but also said go an sin no more. God’s Love does not include sinful behavior unless the sinner repents. Then His sacrifice belongs to you.

Wf Coaker very true!
Mika Zofstrum I don’t think that’s what he was saying.
It depends on what one chooses to obey. God or our emotions. God's is word will never change no matter what.

Thanks so much, Kylie!
What about the wife?doesn't she need a partner?-Is this only about him-his sexuality and fulfillment?
Exactly.
It follows from his own discovery of freedom in Jesus, that he would have wanted her to have a loving relationship of her own. However, it is quite possible that the love of her small children is enough to satisfy het at this stage. I'm sure many mothers would agree.
@@altavosloo9415 uh no why are you objectifying her?

I am so proud to be an Episcopalian. We are all much more alike than we are different. We are so blessed to have this man in our church.
This Priest is a Priest in the Anglican Church of Canada. There are a lot of Provinces in the Worldwide Anglican Communion, including The Episcopal Church centered in the US, and the Anglican Church of Canada. The Mother Province of the Worldwide Anglican Communion is the Church of England. If people will notice, this documentary was made by the CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
To jaypea51: I fully agree. AMEN to your comment. As a gay minister myself, tho I never married, I found peace and welcome in the (USA) Episcopal Church.
YOU are the good that has come out of all this. I wish I could meet you, I could use some help in the faith department. You did the right thing.
Thanks for the support, Ronald! Pip and I would love to connect on our new TH-cam channel :)
Sin leads to death and disorder.
There is only one sin: the belief in separation.
Death is for EVERYONE. ...NONE escapes it.
So whether you Sin or Not - You Still Will Die.
@@aiseakonrote5381 We as Christian talk about the second death. Jesús himself speaks about it in the gospel. Those who die in Union with Him will have everlasting life those who die in mortal sin will suffer damnation. This is specially true for believers for they knew and heard the good news of the gospel. May Christ have mercy on all of us.

Remember the Bible it cannot be changed to suit man.
That’s hilarious because humans ignore many parts of the bible to suit their horrible behaviors
Exactly
@Joe Smith
Nowhere in Scripture does God tolerate sexual acts between 2 men or 2 women. St. Paul called those acts of lust "unnatural'.

The same can be said of any ideological group, be it religious, political or social. Once a group becomes large enough, people's being what they are, there will always be schisms and divisions within it.

Skin and flesh Jesus took on was good and we are all different so use your body in the world as you wish? Which book is that in??
Yea, there is no such thing.
This made me believe for the first time that it's ok to be gay and know that I can truly have faith in God in my life.

I'm a Roman Catholic myself, but he is truly a man of God. It took alot of courage to take the course he did, and God bless him for it.
@@kalani431 She knew the truth about his gender confusion when she agreed to marry him, didn't she?
What amazing courage. Your family is truly inspiring!
courage to disobey God hmm he might have courage but he is not following the true God
Who are you to pronounce whether this man is disobeying God?
the bible clearly does it and i am a witness so there

How about Kris, did she and have she, and will she experience falling in love? What happened to her in 10, 20, 30 years, when the kids all grown? Will she, in time, long for fallen in love with someone who also fell in love with her?
That's true. I feel sorry for her.
@@Timeless80 she is a hero.
