Everything Changes when Family is Politically Singled Out & Targeted 😊
Easiest advice I would say is acquire assets as soon as possible. Real estate, stocks, ownership of businesses. Quickest way for lazy person now will be just buying and holding bitcoin for 5 to 10 years. If 0.1 bitcoin could make average person financially stable.

I don’t think I could thank you enough; this is what I was struggling with for so long. I'm in my first year and had quite a few spring week experiences, and was going towards the whole Investment Banking route. However, I realized how much it's already affecting my relationships and mental health. I decided that it wasn't for me, and I wanted to have more balance. This video has helped so much to reinforce this idea for me. I've always been an overachiever, and it's so weird trying to tell myself that I don't need to go for the most difficult thing. It’s okay to go into a field that isn't as competitive or prestigious, and just prioritize my happiness

Hey Afzal, this is another great video as always! Even at people my age and younger I feel this is something we all struggle with. Everyone has big goals but sometimes the ‘easy and comfortable’ life is often portrayed as a failure on social media

I want to get into the asset management but i dont know how to get through it i dont know how to get internships for asset management and i dont have any kind of work experience also. Within private banking do you recommend becoming an investment manager/counsellor or going down the relationship route to becoming an actual private banker/relationship manager

Could be, if your firm offers it, and if you're willing to put a 'pause' on your career growth.
What degree should I have to succeed in the investment banking sector?
You don't need any particular degree to succeed. Although, accounting and finance degrees can help a little.

I wanted to ask: my background is I contracted in GTM strategy, consulting, fintech ops. No degree, aiming for doing imc, is it possible for me to break into buy/sellside? It's never too late. It just means you'll be a little later than you could have been but in the grand scheme of things it's not that significant. Think in decades not in single years.
