Sandy, once again thank you for taking us along. Even though I have not yet been to England, I feel like I know your region fairly well. Beautiful countryside.
Beautiful village mate! Excellent footage! Love the old English lifestyle! Chug definitely sounds better now too! Sounds more like a good old brit bike now! Nice! Not too loud just enough to give a bit more character 👌🏽👍🏽…. I spent a little time in Norway as a young man around the west coast ares close to a place called Molde. Absolutely beautiful place and would highly recommend it! Good clothing is a must though!! Thanks for sharing your adventure again Sandy. Very best wishes 👍🏽👍🏽😎
You've got the right skull shape for a shaved head, I tried it during lockdown thinking i was going to look like Bruce Willis unfortunately i ended up looking more like uncle fester from the Addams family.👍
Got my Himmy on Thursday, magic. It was a 50 mile run home with a few tail-backs en-route. Tried the Tripper sat-nav this morning and that works fine. The compass needed calibrating, it decided to do itself on the way home from a quick run out to Glenlivet and back. All-in-all, really pleased with it.
Hi Sandy, I very much enjoyed the video specially the bike update in the leafy lane. That is where Ashbury level crossing used to be near Shrivenham. I used to ride my bike there to watch the trains during the mid sixties early seventies. Great memories.
Thats right John, there used to be a level crossing there, now a footbridge. Just up the lane towards Shrivenham is the cemetery. Lots of my relations rest there
A very "English" video and nice relaxing ride-along, Andy. I like the look of your Himalayan with its good balance of colors and shades. I much prefer the stock exhaust sound, though. The new "can" sounds a bit raucous and anti-social to my ear, although the weight saving could be nice for long distance touring.
Cheers Bry, the sound is much nicer and fuller but not overly loud nor offensive, just right:) I'll give you a call later, could be up in ur neck of the woods soon
Bought myself a Royal Enfield Himalayan today. I hopefully take possession of it next Friday 24th I have to wait because Auckland New Zealand is currently locked down :( Thanks for the great video.
Did exactly the same today Sandy, jumped on the little Himi and went for a trundle around my local lanes and villages, yet again, found places id never seen before. I was a bit slower than you as ive still got the stock exhaust and have yet to release all those extra horses. Oh and i hope for your sake Mandy doesnt watch this or your next ceremonal event may not be a wedding! lol.
Well I must say that is some gorgeous countryside! Seems the perfect area for the Royal Enfield. Well done video thank you. I think part of the charm of the bike is the mechanical clatter make you feel very connected to the bike.
Pootling around English country lanes on a sunny day. What could be finer? Nice one, Sandy. The exhaust definitely has a more "farty" note. ;o) All the best.

Hey Sandy, bought a Himalyan, in part cos of your vids. Thanks, got a lextec and love it, also with your talk about replacing your tyres, i put Schinko 805s on mine, no road noise and handles really well, yet to test them in mud but seem good off road and as a bonus... really inexpensive. Put a 130 on the back. Seems fine. Cheers from NZ
I hope the Himi works out for you Simon, I love mine, rode it today but the weather is now quite cold and salt on the roads, gave the bike a good wash and dry before putting it away. It still clatters and rattles but has got smoother, now with 10K miles on the clock
Another great video Sandy, enjoyed it as usual. Loved the sound of the Himi going up that hill and particularly when you changed gear and the revs dropped off, proper 1960s British single thumper sound, beautiful! It's not just Enfield spares that are proving problematic at the moment, other manufacturers are also in the same boat too. Understand the cause is still Covid related and also the fallout of that ship that decided to do a handbrake turn in the Suez canal. Look forward to your next video, always an entertaining watch.👍
Nice bit of countryside. Maybe your missus got similar ideas! Ran my himy to mildenhall speedway yesterday, such a laid back bike. All best from norfolk
More entertainment, I think it may help being familiar territory but looking forward to your bike trip, off on a short bike tour myself this week with a mate of mine, camping all the way :D
Sounds really good Sandy!! Big difference!!👍 The louder the sound the better if you think about it. Car drivers can hear you as well yet alone see you coming!! Chug is a quality and comfortable cruiser motorcycle!! All the best,,see you on the next one!!
I do think that the new exhaust muffler is an improvement Sandy. It has a very nice sound and it will probably add to the performance. I am glad that the Enfield is serving you so well. I always like to see you and old Chug out there on the pavement and the dirt. Take care my friend and I will see you on the next adventure, wherever that might be.
Great video. Like your new hair cut. I have the same. When shaving in the morning I run the razor over my head. Job done. No more expensive hair cuts lol 😂. Looking forward to seeing your next video. 👍.
Love the sound Sandy of the new can made by Lextec who are the same firm Lexmoto that I bought a 250 Vendetta from last year and you'd love the sound that makes. Been off the road for 3 months though waiting for a warranty spare so it's nearly all makes that have the spares problem.

Your standard map may handle it fine or you may want your dealer to install a new map that takes into account the changes. Sounds great! Got rid of that rattle.
Another nice wee video Sandy, magnificent haircut too, have you thought about getting highlights........? (Not sure what they are but the wife mentions them). Stay well and ride safe. Cheers from NZ.
Lextex Cans are good value for the money. I've just fitted a full Delkivic System. The system comes with a cat-free downpipe I little beefier sound than the Lextex which the jury is out on but with the bike running no cats and is more free-flowing, i have found that the system helps the engine produce a better mid-range. Keep up the great videos, which i enjoy the places and buildings you go to.
Good idea to keep the old wife for cooking and cleaning but i think they would have something to say about that , like no way . I like the sound of the old muffler but if the performance of the new muffler is better so be it :-)
Lovely ride and drone footage Sandy; nicely done as all ways. Now I’m old (60) and probably in a minority of one but I really do prefer the sound of the standard exhaust, same applies to my Interceptor too; mind I will admit the std exhausts are too heavy. Hope the Nordcap trip comes off. Thanks for the video, take care and ride safe. Cheers Neil
Thanks Neil I shall be 60 in 13 months time. The standard exhausts are very heavy. The Himalayan has slightly more getup and go and stronger midrange now but has lost 5mph on top speed which I shan't miss as I never run the bike flat out
@@WiltshireMan Yes, I’m the same, not interested in top speed, a bit more midd and bottom end is always useful. Do you think the louder exhaust might be an issue on Byways etc when compared to the stock item?

Another great video bro, maybe you could get your hair cut like mine, very low maintenance as not been cut since my wedding 31 years ago. It got to just past my shoulder blades and stopped yet my beard needs trimming regularly it grows so fast and I will be 68 in November. Always wanted my hair down to my butt but the wheels completely fell off that venture. Anyway all the best on your next adventures. Safe travels
The thing that puzzles me is it has never grown any longer in all the years yet my beard and nails grow like crazy. My hair is the same colour it was in my teens yet my beard gives away my age being totally grey and has been since I was 40
I get out as often as possible, for charging cameras etc I just have a couple of power banks, nothing special but it works for trips of just a few days
Nice country ride. Would have been even better without the annoying music. There are many beautiful places around your part of the world. Thank you for taking us along.
Very good relaxed video Sandy. Handy having a camera man / pilot with you 😀. Yes the exhaust sounds great did you source it locally?? I think I will fit one. Looking forward to your next run out. Brian
Brakes are OK when you get used to them, you just have to give the front one a good squeeze. As for my dogs, last year both the terriers passed away. Jess and Elsa. They were both a good age (15). After a spell with no dogs I now have two more dogs Carmen and Zeta which are Spanish rescue dogs about 2 years old

It does seem (more so, perhaps, than once was the case) that helpiing other traffic users to notice your presence is a good thing, if you want to stay upright (o;
Yeah, my wife's talking used to really annoy me but since I started screaming really loud I don't seem to hear her any more. Took a while, but I knew we'd find a solution eventually. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Hi sandy .I know what you mean about waiting times for spares .I've ordered a brand new bike (euro 5 ) around 13 weeks ago and still waiting for delivery .
Sandy, what's you view on the new exhaust after a full days riding?? is the louder thump over the top or ideal? what's it like when passing horse riders down the lanes. thanks S
The exhaust is louder than the original but not by much. There is provision to remove the baffle and make it much louder at the cost of needing to remap the fuelling but I have left the baffle in on mine. I have ridden carefully past a few horses and they seem OK with it, no different to before really. I would always switch off the engine anyway if a horse became spooked. The other advantage is that pedestrians and other road users are more likely to hear you approaching.

Great video . We must catch up sometime Sandy . Maybe both take our Mini 2’s out, see if we can breed them 😂
I don't know if my Mini 2 is a male or a female but if there is any offspring we could flog em and make a fortune:)
Are there anymore paramotor videos coming up? Great job
Not for now Chris as I have a slight ankle and hip problem, I have also had to curtail long distance hikes for the time being
..."I keep the old wife for cleaning and cooking purposes".....Senior management will be requesting your explanation of those comments , no doubt.
LOL she did laugh
Sandy, what's you view on the new exhaust after a full days riding?? is the louder thump over the top or ideal? what's it like when passing horse riders down the lanes. thanks S
The exhaust is louder than the original but not by much. There is provision to remove the baffle and make it much louder at the cost of needing to remap the fuelling but I have left the baffle in on mine. I have ridden carefully past a few horses and they seem OK with it, no different to before really. I would always switch off the engine anyway if a horse became spooked. The other advantage is that pedestrians and other road users are more likely to hear you approaching.
I too am 34 years married. I Cherish my Wife. Regarding your hairstyle, don't forget what you save on Shampoo, you spend on Soap, and you will never know when to stop when you are washing your face!

A lovely tour. What was the lane that you couldn't go on. I didn't catch the designation. Is it private?
