To know his "break" came in 2015 when he & Justin Timberlake performed "Tennessee Whiskey"/"Can't Drink You Away" together at the Country Music Awards is incredible! I love this song since it came out on the live version at Filmore East in 1970 i was just 8 years old .. i come from a family of 8 kids .. i am number 7 .. second to youngest .. and our house was full of music and musicians , so much great music came out back then .. loved this reaction i love Chris he is incredible and lots of credit to the band here .. as smooth as this song is .. it still has tons of energy and dynamics musically , they brought it! Chris Stapleton was in a band called The Steeldrivers until 2010. It’s Bluegrass. He did two albums with them. You need to see the live version, available on TH-cam, of the song ‘Blue Side of the Mountain’ from 2008.

Chris Stapleton was in a band called The Steeldrivers until 2010. It’s Bluegrass. He did two albums with them. You need to see the live version, available on TH-cam, of the song ‘Blue Side of the Mountain’ from 2008.
