I have a problem, everytime on winkfp I get an error saying msd80.ipo cannot be found or something similar. I have the file but does anyone know where it has to be saved?
Hi, thank you for your detailed view. My DDE ZISB number is 7812353 and winkfp does not find that. I search on the text file you showed I can’t find either. The ECU module is D71N47A0. Any idea how can I find the ZUSB in winkfp? I have Ulfat few other ECU from winkfp as they were found.

I cant find any update vor the ZUSB 7812353 in the E60 Textfile. Neither does the 850687 fit for your Hardwarenr. 7812500 (fits for 8506199). I would not do that update, i cant tell you if it would work, too high risk! If you do it anyway please let me know if it worked.
@@normaano Thank you. Yes too risky. I could not find the ZUSB 7812353 either. Doe this belongs to another model? Thank you for looking and I appreciate that.
Honestly i cant say if there were still updates for the software after 2011...probably not much. You would need to check with winkfp. I think last update was 2012...
Thank you very much for your video, it was really instructive and it helped me to set up everything correctly! Going a bit off-topic, do you maybe know how to convert an N53 325i into a 330i via SW (after installing 3-stage manifold)? I have seen in some forums that it is actually possible and some people have done it, but it requires some changes in the files. The DME can be flashed with the original dataset from the 330i, but this has to be identified as a 325i SW to avoid mismatch. It would be great if you know someone who could support with this, I am also in Switzerland btw... Thanks!

All my module softwares are from 2007/2008. Is there possibility i could run into some compatibility issues if i update only dme? I want to get rid of fault 3104, car is running overall good, but i think this fault is regularly interrupting stratified charge mode. If so which other modules would it be necessary to update?
You can update only the dme without any problems. If you get rid of the error you have to see. First readapt the car after the update (means drive around) delete all new codes and then see if it comes back.
@@normaano The fault didn’t come back until yesterday for around 1.5k km. My daily commute has around 10~15km of highway drive and hadn’t driven longer distances on highway since the update. So yesterday first entry of the fault was registered after driving around 35km on the highway. Did around 380km in total and the frequency of the fault was 60.. i guess i’ll try to reset the adaptations and see if that helps. Regardless of the fault i averaged 7 liter/100km with a little city drive.

Does a 2011 328i also need an update of the dme? I'm chasing a n52 misfire issue.
