I can't wait to do morning walks like that Geeno...:)
I really enjoy my morning walks; so peaceful just listening to all the birds.
Good stuff! Useful and sincere. 😊
Thank you my friend.
While I love my home country of USA, I spent many years dreaming (and preparing) for something different. Yes, politics was driving me crazy too. But in the end, I sold most of my belongings and moved here to Cavite. Your information was very good for people that are considering moving here. Visiting the Philippines is nothing like living in the Philippines. It can be difficult at times and you should be prepared for some drastic changes. (Culture shock). But in the end, this was the best decision I’ve ever made!
I love the USA. America gave me a better life and continues to provide for me in retirement. I am happy that you made the transition to the good life in the Philippines. Take care my friend.
The new American dream is to make money in the US and live somewhere else! Expats in yhe Philippines is at its growth stage!
That seems to be the direction many Americans are taking. I definitely see the increased numbers of expats in our province of Aklan. It used to be rare to see an expat in our area; now every time Dazel and I go to Kalibo, we see expats.
Amen & AMEN !!!!!!!!
Aloha from Hawaii Gino! Watching your videos so informative and motivating. I still got 10 more years til I retire from the armed forces; looking to follow in your footsteps one day… I bought my at Savannah Camella, Iloilo back in 2020; my Retirement house all set up just waiting to retire haha! Can’t wait to be retired at 42 years old and raise my future kids one day as you recommend have them go private school. Continue to make amazing videos my friend. Mahalo! 🤙🏽
Thank you for your service my friend. We almost bought a house at Camella Savannah instead of Camella Aklan. It came down to living closer to Boracay Island. Boracay is our happy place. You have a great plan my friend. Take care.
I agree Ginno…. In our case in California, people are looking to either move to a different State or out of the Country. Also, I’m for the province life. And yes, Iloilo is a nice upcoming place to move to. Many may not be able to handle the province life.
It’s hot and humid today my friend. 😁 The provinces just don’t have some of the comforts that the city provides like S&R and Grab Food. Dazel misses the Grab Food in Iloilo City. We got to try so many food in Iloilo City during our 4-month stay there because of Grab Food. Delivery cost was like $1-$2. 😁
Hi Ginno nice morning video!! We here in Colorado Springs celebrated couple days ago the Air Force Academy Graduation 👨🎓 I just think 🤔 of You…
Thank you our friends. Air Force Academy brings back good memories for me. Made several trips there to conduct medical flight screening on the cadets. I appreciate you my friend. Take care.
Hello Ginno. Excellent tips on expats, my asawa( Filipina) and I will be moving to Claveria Mindanao within 3 years hopefully, you are so correct on why many are considering moving to the philippines, Canada in our case just isnt the same anymore, I fell in love with Bukidnon when i visited several years ago, really miss the "feel" of being there, Cheers to you and yours and all the best Kevin
Thank you my friend. Bukidnon is on our bucket list of places to visit. I saw a video of Bukidnon before and saw that they have cooler weather; higher elevation. I would love to visit Bukidnon during the summer months. Take care my friend.
@@dazeltv1351 When you get to crossing Bukidnon off your bucket list, look me up and come for a visit, it truly is a beautiful area, cooler and very peaceful! Cheers Kevin
Good video!
Thank you our friend!
Hello, Dazel and Ginno. My husband and I very much enjoy your Videos. We are going to Negros this August. We are hoping to met you guys!
Glad you enjoy our videos. Dazel and I enjoyed our road trip through Negros in 2022. If you guys make it to Boracay or Kalibo; we would love to meetup. Take care. Have a safe trip to the Philippines!
@@dazeltv1351 will do Ginno. Thank you
@@raquelmccoy6237 You're welcome my friend.
@@dazeltv1351 Thank you guys! I’m just curious what months is not so touristy season? 😊
@@raquelmccoy6237 For Boracay, summer months are packed (March to May) and December due to Christmas.
Great news for overseas workers
Yes. We have Filipino friends that work overseas and see their happy post on Facebook.
Good for expats but very bad on the local economy and folks here who make minimum wages. Its a double edge sword for all. American goods go up in price here especially electronics. Can still order sone stuff from Amazon delivered to me in Manila with free shipping and zero duties though. I like it. 😊
Yes; I hear from my local Filipino friends the struggle to make ends meet. I haven’t tried ordering anything from Amazon yet. Haven’t had a need to buy anything. I don’t like accumulating things.
Excellent assessment Brother. Been away from the US for over a year now. Will be returning soon to house sit for my daughter while she travels with her family to Colorado. When they return I'll be heading back out to SE Asia. Thanks to your informative videos I'm considering doing a recon to the P.I.
Mahalo again, May God continue to bless, guide and comfort you and your family always. In Jesus Name, Amen 🙏

Thank you my brother. My email: ginno1966@yahoo.com Just in case you do a recon of the Philippines. Take care and God bless. 4A0X0 😃

what part of the Philippines is this? so beautiful... I'm still in the planning stage of my move to the Philippines, I'm moving in dec/ early 2025. Do you charge to answer questions about the Philippines?
Aklan province is located in Panay Island (consists of the following provinces: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Iloilo) in western Visayas. I never charge for information regarding the Philippines. I’m just happy to help people move/retire in the Philippines. My email: ginno1966@yahoo.com
@@dazeltv1351 Wow, man you are amazing... thanks, i would like to ask you some questions in the coming months closer to my move to the Philippines. thanks in advance.
Hi, I've got a question. My trip will be to the Phillipines in January, because I heard that's the best season to visit. I read it's about 27 degree Celsius average during the day in January. I was wondering, if the high humidity, especially around IloIlo, would make it feel very much hotter? How much hotter would you say it feels?
You are good my friend. In my experience, December and January is the coolest time in Iloilo. It doesn’t start being hot and humid till around the end of March. You picked a good time to be in the Philippines.
@@dazeltv1351 Thank you very much😊
@@Guardianfan You’re welcome my friend.

Thank you our friend.
PH is heaven on earth for rich Filipinos only foreigners in PH can't own properties full business ownership & have very limited rights foreigners can be naturalized PH citizens if born & raised in PH which is not your case Dazel I wonder why you aggrandize PH so much Many foreigners moving to PH? Foreigners in PH are not even 1% of PH population
The Philippines is a great place for expats to retire. I personally know many expats that are happy in retirement here.
@@dazeltv1351 For facts I've stated PH is not a great place for expats to settle or retire You know many expats happy here in PH ? Where are they ? Foreigners are not even 1% of PH population you aggrandize PH so much don't get confused 1st class beach resorts BGC Ayala Ave. Makati & high class residential subdivisions & clubs for the rich is not the entire PH
Great information Ginno, i'll be making my 3rd trip to the Philippines in August. I am still looking for that place to settle down when i retire in a little over a year. Kalibo checks a lot of the boxes i'm looking for in a place to retire. We plan on checking it out soon.
Let us know if you decide to check out Kalibo. We would be happy to show you around. Take care our friends.
Vilma and I very much enjoy your vidéos. Vilma is a Filipina who has been in the states since 1974. We just celebrated or 30 wedding anniversary. Your vidéos reminders us of the quality of life and relationships in the Philippines. Thank you
Are you thinking about retiring in the Philippines???
Congratulations on your 30th wedding anniversary! That is amazing! Glad that you are enjoying our videos. You're welcome our friends.
All my family have passed......im not leaving anything behind when i leave the states.....i still have some living to do while I'm still kinda young. Plan to retire before i turn 55...(4yrs) from now💯💯
Sorry to hear about your family. You have many more years of living. Take care my friend.
Enjoy your views & comments better than others on the same topics and conversations
Thank you my friend.
Interesting (Moving to the Philippines) video! Full support already to your great channel po/Ned👍👍
Thank you so much my friend. We appreciate your continued support.
Good morning my Brother Ginno, Great to see you out enjoying your morning walk. Wounderful video and information keep up the excellent work and God Bless You and Dazle and Leana and your Family Too ❤😊❤
Thank you my brother. Take care and God bless.
Ginno, can you tell me what you know or think of Las Pinas
which is in the Manila area ? My wife & I have a house in that city
which we will be retiring in soon, just wondering ?
Thanks for your channel..good work ! From Expensive Vancouver Canada here :(
Outstanding!!!
I drive thru there every now and then, crowded, but it's got every thing you ever need. Nice, established area of Manila. Restaurants and foodie city. Bakery every where too. It's food heaven. Lol
Las Pinas is highly urbanized. I was born and raised in Manila; left when I was 12. In my opinion, Manila is a hard place to retire. The traffic, pollution, noise, and crime are not conducive to retirement. There are plenty of areas around an hour away from Manila that you can choose from if you need to be close to Manila. You're welcome my friend. Take care.
does Aklan experience natural disasters? like string earthquakes, floods? were you affected by Mt Kanlaon’s eruption? thank you and more power to your channel!!!
We’ve had one earthquake in Aklan that I actually felt in my 13 years here. Our home at Camella Aklan; no floods. Kalibo; I’ve seen get flooded twice in 13 years; flood gone in less than a day. We are not affected by Mt Kanlaon; different island. Dazel and I actually got to climb Mt Kanlaon in 2022.😁 Thank you so much. We appreciate your support!
My Brother lives on Guam... health care is not good. If you can't use military facilities, then most go to Hawaii or Japan for serious surgery or medical care.
Thank you for the information my friend.
You started your walk earlier today.... does Dazel ever join you...or is this your alone time? Love your positive attitude and your happy family. My Filipino Wife and I are retiring to Bacolod in two years. God bless!
Dazel is not a morning person. Leana and Dazel get their exercise during sunset. And yes; it’s also my alone time. 😁 Thank you my friend. We love our trips to Bacolod; miss their chicken inasal. Bacolod is a nice retirement destination. I can’t wait for them to start building the bridges that will connect Iloilo with Guimaras and Guimaras with Bacolod. That would be a fun road trip. Take care and God bless.
Was hoping the bridges would have been constructed by the time we move there. They have been talked about since my first trip in 1995... Filipino time can take a long time! Best!
@@MarkBulgrin I have seen progress on the bridges; testing where they will plant the posts for the bridges. Construction will begin in the 2nd quarter of 2025. President Marcos wants the bridges finished before his term ends in 2028.
Can you talk about how you transfer money from USA to Philippines..I know you already have a video about money transfer but I'd like to hear it again. Thanks
I enjoy your videos!! However, please don’t be repetitive in saying “ here in the Philippines “ 🇵🇭 after every sentence. It’s kinda annoying. 😢
@@ellavalles-c4z I'll keep that in mind. Thank you my friend.
I have blank checks from my checking account in the U.S. I deposit a check to my Philippine National Bank dollar account. Takes about 30 days for the checks to clear. And then I withdraw $100 bills and exchange at a local money exchange place. I get the best exchange rate this way. If I needed to transfer money immediately; I've used Xoom before.
Thanks Ginno, awesome video
You’re welcome my friend. Glad you enjoyed the video. Take care.
Thanks for all good advice.
You’re welcome my friend.

Case of Can Mushroom 9.99 to $14.99 / My HP Ink 67.00 To $95.00 And The GOVERNMENT Repeatedly REPORTS On ALL The MEDIA >>>>" INFLATION Is GOOING DOWN" And Its At 3% ????
Thank you for sharing the information my friend. I hear from friends and family in the United States how the cost of living is affecting them too. And the people that I helped move to the Philippines; are just amazed how cost of living is so much cheaper here. Housing cost is were people that move here save the most. Take care my friend.
