- Another fantastic trip to Blairadam exploring more trails and enjoying ones I have previously ridden which have been cleared of fallen trees during lockdown. There is so much more to explore...I will return!

Thanks mate, it’s a great place. Usually pretty muddy but that adds to the fun!😂😂 it’s not too steep but is quite techy in places. Have a good one mate.🤙🤙🤙😁

Have been on outskirts of Blairadam forest but never hits the trails, good to see them dry as most people report being a bit of a mudfest, may attempt at some point, cheers for sharing! 😁👍
Gary Alexander I’ve been there when it’s been very muddy but still enjoyed it. The conditions on this day were pretty spot on. You should give it a bash mate.🤙😁

Well dun mate some good ridding there. Don’t worry i chickened out on that steep right hander at the top of the hill to 🙈. Its really good up there now they’ve dun some cracking work on fixing the trails out 😃👍🏼
Yeah the builders have put some amount of work in up there👌😁. I just couldn’t get my balance right to do that corner, I’ll need to session it properly next time I go.🤙😁

I enjoyed it- but I don’t know if the builders plan to put in more jumps or not there were only a couple that were quite small except the wooden drop/jump which is pretty crazy!🤙😁
Nice vid dude! close call on the lower jump on sequoia trail! - that could have hurt! - thats a big root to hit with your front wheel! definitely gaining confidence!

Hey mate great vid as per. Are all the trails in the vid on trail forks as we have been up a couple times and the top trails all seem to lead I to each other so got confused a few times hahaha it was evni g rides so got dark fast. Need to head up during the day se if can find these trails. 👍👍👍 Keep the vids coming

Marc Hood I get confused often too as there are lots of trails criss crossing one and other but all of the trails on the video are on Trailforks. The trails in this video are Renthal Run, Peddlefest into Chocslide top. Then I did Corona Jump Route (the one with the tight right hand turn down a steep hill with a wooden jump). Then I found the bottom half of Peddlefest and then did Chocslide middle into Sequoias Trail into Sequoia trail to road (Sequoia trail to road can get really boggy and can be unrideable). I also did the Miners Trail and I messed about at a steep bit of hill above the river which is near to the trail called Ridgeback. I couldn’t make out exactly where that trail was going so just ended up mucking about on that hilly bit. Hope that helps. There are lots of trails up there that I’ve not done yet and I know there are quite a few not on Trailforks so lots to explore and have fun on. Happy shredding mate! 🤙🤙🤙😁
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 yeah mate there a bit everywhere I went down the jump line but the wooden bit is no longer there from what I could make out. I may hav emissed it but there was only one jump at the bottom of the steep section lol I may have been lost though. Ha ha I will be back though as its a massive play ground.
Any idea how the trails are at the moment mate? I’m thinking about going to blairadam in the next few weeks?
Hi mate, I've not been to Blairadam since the autumn. So can't say for certain but I've not heard of there being any major issues. They will be pretty muddy and wet as usual in winter but that can be quite fun but challenging too. Have a good time when you're there, plenty of fun trails, my favourites there are brick road tree descent, miners trail and sequoia trail.👌🤙🤙🤙😁
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 cheers boss! I was up cambusbarron last week and at one point on the uphill there was a bow wave…you know what they say about pushing water up hill! Never been to blairadam but it’s an easy destination.

I ride blairadam all the time and have never seen the jumps at 11:08 do you know what the trail was called on trailforks also the next time you are there I would recommend the "brick road in trees descent" it has a bunch of lines and is really good.
Hi mate that was down a trail called Corona Jump Line on Trailforks...at least I think that’s the trail I was on. I think those little jump bits just past that tree/rock roller might actually be the end of the Renthal Run? I went down that Brick road descent last week and I agree, it’s a brilliant wee trail👌🤙. It’s going to be on a future video of mine that will be out in a few weeks time.😁🤙🤙🤙 Thanks for the tip mate.👍😁

I was there just yesterday and it was pretty sloppy in some areas and swampy in others
Spudvader Yeah the 2 previous times I’ve been were pretty muddy but conditions were great on this occasion.😁👍🤙

It’s probably about the same as Pitmedden in terms of roots. It’s a great place to ride too. Give it a go and see what you think. 😁🤙🤙🤙
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 I've actually just discovery Cairngreen at the back of Cupar, which is 5 minutes from my house. I'm just back from having a on foot reccy mission and there is a good few trails, jumps and brims so I think I'll be hitting that first thing tomorrow :)

@@muddymongoosemtb9873 It was a tad frosty this morning but some great trails with birms and jumps. A bit of a mixed bag actually and quite challenging in places. I felt I was in at the deep in at times but lots of fun to be had. Worth checking out though :)
