Will - my wife and I have adopted a number of your suggestions and they have been very effective. We've both been doing the isometric wall sits and planks for blood pressure control and have been able to see the significant improvement. We're also doing the calf raises you spoke about recently to strengthen our calfs so we can walk at a brisk pace. We've also been doing several of your exercises for balance. Thanks very much. FYI, I'm 74, my wife is 70 and we live in Manhattan. Keep up the great work. Thanks very much.

To me the IT band is the single most evil thing in the world.

Ty so much! I have had IT tightness for ages on one leg and pt gaves stretches which have not given any relief. I will try this. Thanks again!

Thanks for this, very informative, I have been diagnosed with Glute tenderness, so will add this treatment to my exercise prog.

Hello! I had a meniscus repair 2 years ago. Since then I’ve had pain that moves around. Starting with IT Band pain on the opposite knee, hip pain, lower back pain (all on the rt side), and now hip pain again WITH continued lower back pain. In 2 days I’m having my 3rd injection on my hip in 2 years. Yes, I did PT for 8 months. QUESTION: I have a bunion on that same side that only causes rubbing pain from certain shoes. When I went to a Feet Store, my rt foot lit up

A very informative video, as this is the first-time hearing of the IT Band. You only ever hear of the hamstrings or quads in the thigh area.

  • @vickyls8132

Oh!! I also have severe itching on my outer thigh, same side, for weeks at a time. Dermatologist didn’t see a thing except scratching trama. My orthopedic said it’s from the nerves. So frustrated! Thx, Vicky, age 65

    Found the video very interesting

I have that massage gun - it’s fantastic! Fits in the hand, isn’t too heavy - way better than the various larger ones I have purchased prior

  • @MovewithDrMike

Great video Will I believe these tools can be very helpful when used correctly in conjunction with its exercise!

  • @rickzabrodski5767

Very useful info. Doing this for post hip surgery ITB issues together with hip stability exercises.

    Where are your clinics?

Your IT band is supposed to be tight. That's the point of it 🙄
