Omg, I definitely empathised with the creeped out experience of the cockroaches. I only ever experienced them on a regular basis a few years back I was travelling around and working along the coast in Egypt. First I stayed in an extremely budget £1 a night place but then found out for some reason it was taken over by bugs including cockroaches. When I went to sleep I found a cockroach came into my hut and running over me while I tried to sleep. I then killed it with my flip flop then my hut got invaded by ants trying to eat the cockroach. Then a few flies turned up too. Then I went to the loo exasperated only to discover I had contracted some kind of Egyptian style Delhi belly, maybe cholera, E coli poisoning, who knows. Then that the plumbing was broken then a giant beetle fell from the ceiling onto the back while I was on the loo I have yet to identify maybe a giant dung beetle lol. I eventually called up my Egyptian bedouin boyfriend to rescue me but he then took me to the desert where we got invaded by biting ants while we were asleep intent on eating some sugary sweets he had in his pocket then we tried sleeping next to the sea then I got woken up literally by a crab pinching my ear. Lol. I then went to work at a dive centre where I had my own room which was definitely safer then discovered cockroaches had taken over the coffee machine. Survival in Egypt was something else lol. Being creeped out by large bugs ever since is my instinct however at the moment I have some pet silverfish which are wingless insects so much safer lol.
I love the "Do you wanna hold him?" "NOPE" of the hissing roach. I worked in an education department at a zoo that had those guys, it was not common that anyone wanted to hold one.
This was great. I'd love to see a colab with the TH-camr Molly Burke or some other blind person. It would be interesting to know how the animals smell to a person who cannot see them. Just a thought.
Wow, I agree. I wonder if Molly Burke could get out to Montana sometime and do a presentation out that way while also visiting Animal Wonders. That would be great!

My cats smell faintly of dust and whatever fabric softener I'm using (which is a reminder that you must consider these products when thinking of your pet's health). I suppose that makes sense in a way since their dander makes up a portion of the dust I am used to smelling
I admit that I snuggle up to my rat terrier Thor and take sniffs right at that super soft spot at the back on the base of the dog's ear. Especially after he's had a bath.

What’s funny is I totally know what my cats smell like, because of all the cuddling. I’m pretty sure it’s just a diluted version of their cat food, but each cat smells different and so I can’t *just* be that. Also Tessa reacted to everything just like I’d imagine myself reacting, so this was super fun :)
This is a great video, I love the idea of introducing someone to animals this way! I had mice for awhile, and the some of the males I had would smell like cheetos! Animals are such smelly little weirdos~
I raised a skunk whose mother had been ran over. Once he was old enough to climb out of the up turned dresser, he was able to survive on his own. He never once sprayed me. He did spray my boyfriend at that time.(I was 17) 😂 Good times. I named that skunk Fred!

Hey I have a question, I really want to get a cockatiel but I’m still in Highschool so i have to go to school about every day except weekends and stuff and my parents are divorced so I won’t be at the same home 24 for 7 on a school day i can spent about an hour with the bird (minimum) max 2,5 hours but in weekend about the whole day. Is this enough or is it not sensible
