I need this my f550 keeps blowing standpipes and I suspect oil temp is too high. I’m hauling 6 tons in the bed and with 4.88 gears I’m screaming down the road after delivery. The thing can’t relax.
With the SCT monitor, you briefly spoke about the turbo VGT. I had a previous’06 6.0 F350 that, if I remember correctly, had a whistle from the day I bought it. I believe it got louder after I installed the tuner. I recently purchased another one that is tuned stock for the moment. I don’t hear any whistling at all at idle and barely notice it while driving. Does this mean, or could this be a sign of a turbo, EBP sensor, or wiring problem? Even though it’s not a daily driver, I don’t want to drive it if, in fact, there may be a problem. Thanks for any input you may have. By the way, I do have a SCT X4 from a different Ford gas vehicle that, if I’m correct, should be able to monitor this truck…
I have a 2006 6.0 dually and for the life of me could not get the Edge to work. Worked with them and tried 3 different monitors on the truck. Checked the connection, etc. No luck. Had no choice but to use the Livewire Vision. Anyone else with this experience?
That edge needs a serious processor upgrade ! It's slow AF. The screen is nice but k could not deal with his slow it is. I'm glad I got the Banks iDash.
Thanks for the monitor tips.

Engine monitoring is the #1 mod I ALWAYS recommend to everyone. Its by FAR the most important.

Give us a call sometime we would be glad to share tech tips and info.
Would it be beneficial to get a stock file that uses EBP on the ‘03, or request it be used on a tune file??

No sir we have not heard of that before that is wild.
Why is ebp so important to monitor?
Shows the health of the turbo and tuning insight as well.
@@BlessedPerformance ok so a healthy turbo has a 1.5 ebp to 1 boost ratio?

I bought the sctx4 pre loaded from you. Did you set the monitor for what should be watched or do I have to change it?
You need to adjust those on your own brother
@@BlessedPerformance ok thank you, I was just curious.
@dantinalong yeah if we opened boxes before shipping I'm sure we could but I don't normally do that
