Thanks for watching one of the first videos I ever did! These were so much fun and I was a much more aggressive rider back then lol. You just reminded me that I need to do a "Highspeed Ride" soon. It been way too long!
I enjoyed watching the video. It's too bad you don't have an app like Relive to show your route at the end or beginning of the video or at least briefly mention the streets you're riding on. The Action Kid always showed his routes on Google Maps with his rides. I was able to figure out your route using landmarks. I think you started from Sunnyside, Queens and much of your Brooklyn route was on Driggs Avenue, over the WillyB, up First Ave. to 53rd St. to finish. That Driggs Ave. runs a long distance. I'll have to try it sometime. I live in Southeast Queens so your route to the WillyB is much different than mine. You really ride fast. Where I live there are nearly no bike lanes to the WillyB and the streets are in terrible shape, so I ride much slower. I watch these videos to find nice paths to travel and see how congested traffic can be. My e-scooter and e-bike only have a top speed of around GPS 32 mph, so I can't ride with car traffic like you do. Anyway, your videos are sharp and the audio is clear. Stay safe and I hope you can ride for many years to come.
Hi Douglas, thank you for taking the time to watch the video and thank you for taking the time to write detailed feedback. I’ll look into The Action Kids Channel for inspiration because I’m always looking to improve the video quality of the channel. It may take some time because all this is pretty new to me so I appreciate any feedback that helps me improve! I’m hoping to do more “non commute to work” videos when I have more time in the future. I’d like to be able to explore the city a bit more (I’ve started to experiment with this recently). Safe riding to you and thank you again for watching 🙏🏼
I appreciate ya 🙏🏼. My building has a secure bike room next to the security desk, so I’m blessed not to have to worry about it. If I’m doing that long route it’s about 25 miles round trip. If I’m doing the short route it’s about 16 miles round trip. Depending on the day, it could also be any combination of the above if I have to make stops.
Bro, Ivan, please do not edit! I enjoy watching the full-length videos personally. I do my videos the same way. I want people to see my POV of how riding here really is. I enjoy your POV of the rides. It makes them way more interesting. Thank you for doing this. Ride That Tasty Wave
Thanks for the feedback. I liked making these videos but the feedback at the time was they were too long. Now it’s finding the balance of editing and keeping the integrity of the ride there. It’s quite difficult to find that perfect middle ground, I hope I find in the future. Im sure we’ll get there because I didn’t realize that I’ve only been making videos for 3.5 months. it’s only up from here!
@Eyebahn Rides I totally understand what you mean about the balance. I'm still working on that myself. I want to keep everyone entertained and into the ride. I... personally.... thank you're doing it 💯 Ride That Tasty Wave
Wow,I'm impressed, just saw yer channel today and subscribed, as a die hard Brooklyn escooter and ebike rider for over 12 years starting with the 2009 go motor board electric scooter, I enjoy anyone who loves riding these fun toys. These items bring soooo much joy to ones life,I've been through at least 17 now, just brought one today off of amozon at a steal price of 800 dollars for the 750w 14amp POLARNA m4 ebike, price was 1,599 dollars last year ,as of today 12/32/22 it's still on sale now...great day sir..
Thank you! The freedom that we have on these EV's is amazing. My first time experiencing it was with a Xiaomi that my aunt bought for her commute within Queens and it's been a growing passion since!
😅😅😅 it was terrifying at first but you get used to it after 1300 miles. The crazy thing is, I don’t even turn on the turbo to get me to 55-60. I’m looking to move on from the scooter so let’s see what we get next! I’m quite a respectful rider and very mindful of how nypd and the public view us so I don’t open it up unless it’s empty like that. They’ve given me issues on my s73 and EUC tho.
You have the Polish finger throttle as well, yussss. I love my Nami and I ride like you do, aggressively and filtering to the front of the traffic light constantly. Leaving right before the light turns green. Keeping all the danger in front of you, instead of worrying about what's behind you. Great video.
Thanks @carlnation I appreciate ya. The polish finger throttle was one of the best upgrades I made because I feel like I have better control over the Nami’s acceleration with it and it allows me to have a better grip on the bars. That’s the best thing about the Nami. It allows you to ride aggressively when it’s safe to do so. Especially in a city like NYC with hyper aggressive drivers and unaware pedestrians, it’s very helpful!
Technically it does up to 60mph, but I average upper 50's on a regular. I average about 40-55 miles per charge. That will depend how hard I am on the acceleration and what my constant speed is. I'm usually pretty chill and hover in the 20's -30s depending on where I'm riding, but there are times I will send it if there's a chance on a road I'm familiar with! Thanks for watching!🙏🏼
Agreed. I liked the Eye3, Kaabo's, and even the generic one for visibility. It's a big reason why I switched to a GPS display on my phone in my later videos!
Hey SK Nails, thanks for watching this video! The Nami is definitely fast but I only ride this fast when I really know the roads. If you hit a pothole in the ground you'll most likely dent the rim and end up with a flat. It's happened to me twice and the it maintains stability even after a hit like that. The Burn-E is pretty stable at speed once you get used to it and adopt a proper riding stance.
It's like watching the Isle of Mann races. Love these videos.

Just purchased 1 few minutes ago from Fluidfree can’t wait to ride.❤
Thanks for watching one of my first videos Quanis! Congrats on your new scooter!

Where do you store your nami once you arrive at work? Also, how many miles in total is the commute? Got my sub 👍

Yeah, I also wondered about where he put the scooter at work. NYC is a thieves paradise.

That thing flies! Not sure how you feel comfortable going 50 standing up on a scooter! Do police give you trouble riding high speed scooters?

Whats the top speed of that thing. Average range and average speed on one battery charging

Could barely see the speed. This is where eye3 shines!

bro u ride preety fast, too fast for me, whats the outcome if u hit a hole in concrete, is nami stable?
