    In fact Persians in Iran have their own unique method in comparison to non-Persian Iranians , there are some different weaving methods all around Iran , every carpet from all part of Iran has the best quality as Persian carpet ! but woven in different methods .

    Why don't Isfahan use turkish knots for more alive depiction faces and so on?

      Hi,
      Love your question and it's the same with the certain colors and designs. Apparently I'm the one in my family with the blessing of asking too many stupid questions and the response I got from the so-called experts is that certain types of rugs are famous for certain types of colors, designs and workmanship. It's why for example you don't find Isfahan rugs with a classic Mahi design and virtually never find Nain rugs with black or brown main colors instead of the blues...
      They say its tradition, however I would call it something else as I have had plenty of folks who would agree with us...
