I tried a manual treadmill priced at about 2300$ CAD, and it didnt seem very good. It looked like the bells of steel one shown in this video. Im not sure what make it was.
I have the assault runner pro and my favorite part about it is the safety. I have young kids and have no issues with them using it but can't say the same for a motorized treadmill. I do miss the incline ability and miss the ability to do dead-mills (it's like pushing a sled)...
Can anyone confirm of this is a good option for marathon runners? I understand it’s more difficult but could you pace adjust for effort and still do 2+ hour sessions or would the weight of the belt just be too tiring for that time?
I had a very similar manual treadmill to that Sunny Health model, almost identical, and ran into the same issue you note. It was simply impossible to maintain a position without holding onto the grips. The moment you take your hands off, the belt starts speeding up no matter what you do. Even for the ~150 it goes for now, I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase it. Mind ended up on the curb. I really don't know why the decent manual treadmills are so pricey though. 2K gets you a very nice motorized treadmill. 4K practically gets you a commercial gym quality treadmill.
What treadmill would you recommend for someone that wants to do jogging and a bit of running for very little money while using their laptop? Maybe, I should just do squatting and jumping exercises...
I understand, I wish I didn't sound like this either. However it can't be helped. When I was little I was raised by circus mice. When learning how to speak it did a number on me. Since then I've fought the good fight and battled to change my high pitch voice, but my roots run deep and I just can't seem to change. Don't feel sorry for me though. I had a good childhood growing up raised by circus mice. - Linds
informative video! i didn't even know manual treadmills existed till a little bit and now i feel like i have a good idea on them 😊
Great review. I want to see that new rep treadmill

I AGREE! When is it going to be available!! It looks cool, Im so curious how it will feel. - Linds
Super helpful thank you!
Love your voice
You do? HA! Well thanks! - Linds
There's gotta be a manual treadmill option between $200 and $2000. That's a huge gap in price where there must be an option somewhere.

It is much more tiring. It's amazing for coordination and stride power but I've never seen anybody doing a long session on one.
nice

I've been keeping my eye on it! - Linds
A. Shoutout to the Signature Fitness manual treadmill from Walmart for ~$400.
B. What kind of colorful plates are those in the background?

Stationary bikes please
That is a great suggestion! - Linds
You did’t mention long runs for any of these
I were to do a longer run on one of these I am choosing the Assault for sure. - Linds
Great review, but assault runner has terrible customer service.
I can't keep listening to her voice
Subtitles are available - Linds
The fact that rogue didnt send one yet, it mean its really as bad as the reviews in their website 🙄
I would love to test it out, but don't have one. I keep reading mixed reviews on it and I'm so curious about it! - Linds
I tried to give this channel a chance. But I just can’t with her voice. Video is good quality. But the voice is a bit too much for me. Respectfully
