PLEASE review the TibBarGuys Sledtred. It seems like station sled pushing machines are becoming more popular- a video providing the best options in this category would be amazing. Love your content!
Coop, there's a treadmill that flys under the radar called the ShredMill that is used specifically to replace heavy sleds and hill sprints. It is geared towards sports performance training, but for all the start-up S&C coaches out there we'd love to see your opinion.
Looks like you could tie a angles90 handle or something like that on to the end handles. So your arms could move while you walk. Might be able to even move forward a little on the tread then as well.
I have one and used it a few times. It's pretty sweet for the price. Does everything as advertised pretty well, 21 levels of magnetic resistance, sturdier than it looks.
@@yangtroy1 It's different but effective. Literally pushing a treadmill belt, so not as gratifying as moving a sled w/ a lot of weight. But perfect for my basement gym. Gonna take me a long time to max out the resistance.
Good review as always coop! Have you seen the ARSENAL MULTIFLEX!? Similar fixed lever arms but with much more versatility. I think this could definitely be a good home gym piece given the footprint to versatility ratio. I know you don't usually review Arsenal equipment as they generally cater to commercial spaces however I think it would be really cool if you reviewed the MULTIFLEX.
I grew up on a farm.. Lighter weight sure some swinging.. But heavier weight doing farmer walks.. Just leg movement and solid upper body placement.. For the bench press feature.. Could you fit a kinsui handle to make it feel more of a natural feeling iso bench press machine? Or perhaps get kensui to create a handle attachment with a longer grip to bring the wideness in more.. Looks like a good product though
Yeah it was obvious from the BOS promotional videos it wasnt really thought through that well. It needs different/adjustable handles or just remove the lever arms totally and put platforms on the side to rest dumbbells on farmers walks
Looks "nervously" short for those farmer's walks also - so far back on the treadmill. Also - the lever arms - they could have easily designed a multigrip bar that could fit into the lever arms along with a few other grips, in order to do proper presses with proper (varying) grip, a more traditional type double-arm row, etc. If the treadmill was 4 inches longer, had better resistance for a sled push, and had a simple, lock in (pin into place, whatever) bar to max out the uses of the lever arms, this thing would sell for 500 Canadian bucks more than the current price faster than pancakes. As it is, the main thing - sled push - no good. The press movements - too wide. The treadmill surface itself - too short. Huge potential with those fairly minimal improvements imo. As is, no thanks. Make those changes? Sold.
I wish coop did a rating system where he would say if he would have the item he's reviewing in his garage gym if he was a Normy like us, e.g. single car garage rating would be if he only had a 1 car garage would this item get in there, 2 car garage rating if he had slightly more space would he get it, And so on
We bought the SledTred. Really bad quality, minimal resistance, insufficient warranty, and not user friendly. Cool concept, poor execution. Would not recommend. Looking forward to Coop’s review on it.
I bought it too, and you can tell it's version 1.0 with subpar manufacturing, or maybe specs were bad, or just bad tolerances. Putting it together was a pain. I got the step for it too, and it's a sturdy step... if you can get it to attach. I've scratched the uprights super bad trying to get the roller pad and step on.
My arm don't really move when doing farmer walks. My problem with the machine is that the handles are too far apart and not adjustable. Ill probably buy version 2, unless something better comes out.
If I’m spotting it correctly, I think this is the second video of yours with a Bells of Steel Manticore rack in the background, so I’m really excited for you to do that review! I already have one and I love it, but I still always enjoy your videos even if it’s something I already own 😊 The only thing is they’ve been saying since before I bought it that they were going to re-release the adjustable lever arms for it, so I’m still waiting on those to come out.
Innovation is a good thing, but creating a conjugate cardio/strength development machine is a big swing and a miss in my opinion. You are better off buying a Titan Fitness SquatMax MD, which you can do both upper body, lower body, and core exercises on for strength development, and if you want to do marches for cardio, you can do that too. To do upper body exercises on a Titan Fitness SquatMax MD, just detach the loading pin, which slides in and out, and attach a daisy chain strap to a cable bar with snaplinks or carabiners.
No no no. You see the point is you can buy it for your "home gym" and then take a bunch of pictures of it sitting in your "home gym" and then post said pictures to snowflake media where you'll receive validation and fanfare and someone will tell you that you've iNtHpiReD them, which will fuel the orignal poster's narcissism and society will continue to swirl down the toilet more and more as is part of the plan by those who actually control our world. Idiocracy if you will.
@@andersbjrnsen7203 I mean at this point I think I would prefer a cheap treadmill and I just carry kettlebells and walk on it. This thing looks pretty meh for its price point

I cancelled my premium subscription recently so only just now seeing you stick 8 ads on a 14 min video. Glucks review of this had one ad before the video started. Bye, Coop.
Gluck said they've already increased the resistance. If you are to buy one today, you're supposed to get one with the increased resistance.
Gluck for the win
Great point
Gluck ain't nothing but a cuck who stole his whole persona from Basement Brandino because he doesn't have a personality of his own.

I've been dying for an honest SledTred review, so I can't wait for that.
Where is the tib bar guys sled tread video review? Let’s go

Coop, talking about space, could you rewiew the lever machine powertec, gwnd, thanks for you honest rewiews
i would love to see coop review some levergym multiunits.
they look really cool for the price
I’m looking forward most to the SledTred review. If that gets Coop’s stamp of approval, I’m getting it.

@@jordanmetzger1035 nice, thx for the reply, do you find there plenty of space to have a deep lunge/stride with the sled aspect of it?
Did you try attaching something like angles 90 grips so you could pull them in and not be stuck where the handles are?

attaching the lever arms together and using it as a belt squat would be nice
Hey Coop. What model of shoes are you wearing the video? The minimalist grey and teal ones.
@coop, came here to ask the same question! Tell us the shoes 😝

And so on
I want to see a comparison of the Athena, rogue rack functional trainer, and the Dane
Looks great! Could you do sprints if you hold on?
Can you use it for belt squats?
I’ll buy a mark 2 version in a second if they make the handles adjustable for the lever gym functionality
The $1.99 bike bottle holder says a lot about the amount of forethought done before production. Looking forward to "THE SLEDTRED" review...

Love your videos coop
If you want more resistance would wearing ankle weights and or a weighted vest take care of that?
Probably not. Making you heavier in the vertical plane doesnt increase the resistance for pushing in the horizontal plane.
What's the width without the arms?
My arm don't really move when doing farmer walks. My problem with the machine is that the handles are too far apart and not adjustable. Ill probably buy version 2, unless something better comes out.

Would be bad ass if they somehow added a bar or two to simulate a squat rack
Maybe work out a review schedule with Gluck so you guys don’t drop the same video within a day of each other. I’ll still watch though.
Is the matrix a drive a better treadmill?
The whole video, I was scoping out those Mayhem plates and didn't even care they are 35's.
$2,200. All of the benefits of this device can be obtained with a once-a-week, 90-second, static bodyweight squat. But you knew that.
“I wouldn’t get this to do farmers walks”. “I wouldn’t get this to replace sled pushes”. What’s the point of this then 😂
There is no point. Kind of a gimmick “budget” unit. Basically the thing it’s best at is walking…

If you dont have the possibility to do those things in a "normal" way and need a mill for walks anyway it makes a lot of sense.
