    Tossing the sanding block on the glass really makes you seem so cool. Can you throw your materials around more next video so we can think your even cooler.

    You're literally a godsend dude. Every other shadowbox video I've seen overcomplicates everything about the process and makes it seem so daunting. This is spectacularly simple and beautiful, and I can't wait to make mine!

    Great video....No wonder they are $500-$900 on line for custom. The tools need to do this is pricey and will set you back. Table saw, router etc...

    That ambrosia maple was an awesome choice. I’m gonna go through my stack at home and see if I have enough but I may go with cherry. Thanks for the video

    I missing something. How do you open the shadow box to put the jersey inside. It looks fully incase.

      The clips on the back just get loosened and the whole panel comes off.

    Curious. Why did you cut the rabbet with a router instead of the table saw? Project turned out really well. Love the wood and the splines.

      That’s a great question. Unfortunately the answer isn’t anything great. Haha…I just felt like doing them with the router and then I immediately regretted that decision. I generally do them all on the table saw.

      They are called Picture Frame Turn Buttons

      They are called splines. A miter joint is a notoriously weak joint over time. A spline is a way to reinforce the joint and strengthen it.

      @@familyman1071 Generally you would make them yourself. But if Lowe’s carries 1/8” thick stock then it should be the same thickness as your sawblade and can fit in that kerf.

    Man, I wish i had tools and space to work. I'd be making these all day, for collectables, jerseys, military awards, disney pins, you name it. I dont mean to be bubba gum shrimpin ya, but dang. lots of ideas.

      That was ambrosia maple with walnut splines

    What type of Router Bit and Glass did you use ? Awesome video

      Thank you! I’m pretty sure it was a 1/4” rabbet bit, possibly 3/8”. I think the glass was 3/32”
